These guys were at the spring Austin Home and Garden Show, which is how we found them. We had already secured prior estimates, but Soleil was different from the start. Ben H. was working the show floor; he ended up coming to measure for the estimate, and he was great to work with throughout the large tile project. His crew was expert and did an A+ job, especially by not trashing our house with the major dust an old tile tear-out creates! The finished product is WAY better than the original tile job we had when the house was built! Couple tiny defects are being rectified this coming weekend, and I mean TINY! When we are ready to replace the carpet in the rest of the house, Soleil will be our choice without getting any other quotes! We have had such a wonderful experience with this company. Our contractor hired them to replace our preexisting laminate floors done by a commercial company, and let me just say, the quality is night and day. Our floors feel different. These floors are gorgeous, rich color, nice characteristics, they look warm and really added a nice touch to our home. I love them. My husband will also love them when he arrives in country. The company was wonderful to work with. Ben was warm and friendly, he came to my home and brought samples, his installers were utterly professional and installed my floors and walk-in closets in one days time. They moved all of my bedroom furniture, my huge Tempur Pedic king size bed, with the understanding that my husband is out of the country working for the military, and they did not charge me an arm and a leg. We went through Ben mostly and one of his crews led by a guy named Gio and had luxury vinyl floors installed in almost every square inch of our new 5 bedroom house. It looks amazing and made such a dramatic difference. Ben explained how the floors we were interested in at first were printed without the texture matching the pattern, so we upped our budget by $2k and the floors he recommended really do look like wood, so that suggestion was well worth it. We're so happy the crew paid such close attention to detail. We just kept noticing more stuff we were happy with as it went on like little stair pieces on the lips of the closet floors that were slightly raised, the thinnest and straightest caulking on both the top and the bottom of the baseboard, etc. At one point, my boyfriend was just walking in circles over and over around the bedroom going "It's so level! It's so level!" We were shocked at how good the stairs looked without us even having to go to a separate stair company like other companies we got an estimate from recommended. We had so many contractors come in and out of this house and with everyone else, we had to drive across town to check on multiple times a day because they were always late or doing sloppy work. Soleil was the one company we didn't feel like we had to worry about because we could tell they were doing good work without us having to look over their shoulder. Ben was awesome...he was very knowledgable and let us take many samples home. He came to our house to measure for square footage and was quick and professional. Ben also worked with us while we changed our mind from tile to wood and then adding tiling upstairs to our 2 baths. We had our floors done by Soleil Flooring in October, 2018. The flooring installers did a great job, that is the only nice thing I can say about this company. Our experience went downhill from there, deplorable customer service! Our carpeting was installed in someone else's home, then after they reordered the carpet and promised a set time for it to be installed, the guy arrived two and half hours late. When I spoke to Ben about it and expressed my irritation about "one more mix-up" with the carpeting, he was very rude and hung up on me! The owner, Stephanie Hendrix and her son Ben Hendrix set up a charge through Synchrony Bank in our name, without our authorization for the remaining balance. Again, my husband nor I, authorized the charge. We paid cash for half the cost when they ordered the flooring, and we agreed to pay the balance when the job was complete. Stephanie, nor Ben ever contacted us to see if we were happy with the flooring, or to thank us for our business, and they never sent a final invoice. Synchrony Bank contacted me regarding the $4,000.00 charge, Soleil Flooring initiated without our knowledge or consent. This is very shady business practice, and could be construed as fraud! I will never do business with this company, again! For anyone considering doing business with Soleil Floors, they are not to be trusted. read more

After having installed new floors numerous times in previous homes with a number of different companies, I can honestly say that Soleil Floors is by far the best. They provided a fantastic product at a fair price. Once I made my selection we were able to have the job booked and completed within two weeks and at time that worked with our schedule. I had a very specific look in mind for the wood we wanted to install and after Ben's in home consultation it only took me one trip to their showroom to find exactly what I was looking for. I was convinced that they would need to special order the wood I wanted (which they were more than happy to do), but we were able to find a similar one that they carried which saved us a lot of money. The construction crew was polite and detail oriented. I've never seen such attention to the prep work. They used great care in our home and in making sure that the installation was perfect. The best part was the whole project was totally turnkey. They installed the shoe mold totally painted (not just primed like every other company I had previously used). They went out and custom matched the molding on our starter stair so I didn't have to do any extra running around. We had a great experience with Soleil Floors. Before going there, we met a number of other flooring providers and explored the options offered by the big box stores (Home Depot, Lowe's). We were having trouble understanding what to look for in carpet and couldn't evaluate the quality at the various price points. We were also having trouble matching hardwood for a new room with the existing hardwood in the house, which looked great but involved some variation. Cristen came out to our house, measured, and explained what we needed to look for in carpet. We later met her at the showroom and went through the various carpet types and price points in detail. We were able to get the exact carpet that we were looking for and (this was important to us) make an informed decision about quality and price. When it came to the installation, Soleil Floors went above and beyond. The hardwood was to be installed while we were not at home. The installer called Cristen to let her know that he did not think the wood was a good match. Once it was laid out in the light of the room we were putting it in, it didn't look the same as the sample. Cristen came back out to the house and confirmed that it wasn't the right match. She then went through a series of other options trying to find exactly the right fit. She ended up mixing a few different stains to come up with a great match for our existing hardwood. I'm sure most other companies would have just put the wood in (since it was the brand and stain that what we had ordered), but Soleil cared enough to get it exactly right. That kind of attention to detail is hard to find. And they did all of that without exceeding the original quote. read more
