If I could do zero stars I would ! Doordash delivered this Taco Salad from SomeBurros tonight. The lettuce was soggy white ends, maybe a tablespoon of meat and beans , a few tomatoes and No Cheese. Not to mention the shell tastes like it was cooked in bad oil a week ago. This is the second time trying this place since moving here, the first time was in person and they forgot our order, second time - Epic fail. There will not be a third time. I was able to order on the app pick up was quick and easy. As for the food just a notch above Taco Bell it was ok but nothing that's going to draw me back for another meal but not bad. Will try others Mexican restaurants first. read more

Some-burros review I recently came here the week of there celebration of cinco de mayo, with special deals giving this week some fun for everyone, however the food seemed very bland, one bite and I knew something was off about the flavor. The restaurant was very spacious, as there wasn't a lot of people dining in the restaurant. And even then with very little people inside the establishment, the food was terrible. It was boring, bland, and was cold in the center, getting me to believe the food has always been microwaved. The people here seemed very nice, however, with so many people in the kitchen, I think there would be someone here who could take initiative and tell the kitchen staff and cooks to prepare the food correctly. Would I come here again, probably not, but know that there is hope into saving this restaurant. read more

When i go to a fast food franchise restaurant, I expect a somewhat lower quality of food and cooking but Someburros was off the bottom of the flavor and quality chart. The service and cleanliness were good and the employees were nice but the positives ended there. My wife and I had two different main courses, one with beef as the main protein, the other chicken. The two entrees should have tasted much different. In fact, they tasted almost the same. Canned meats and sauces have a distinctive flavor and there can be no doubt that all of the meat sauces inside of the burros, enchiladas, etc. arrive at the restaurant in cans ready to be opened and warmed by employees (not cooks). Everything tasted bland and was exceptionally salty -- a common way to make the loss of flavor in canned ingredients. The sauces were thin, watery, and had little flavor. The green sauce had been thickened with cornstarch. In terms of its menu , Someburros restaurant might be compared with Rubios or Baja Fresh. In fact, there is no comparison because these restaurants cook the food fresh on location and are well known for their variety of flavorful hot sauces. read more

So far all the food we've had there over the past 2-1/2 years has been very good. Well cooked and seasoned, tonight they were exceptionally busy both inside and drive thru. We were there for an hour, start to finish. The price is a bit high, 12 oz beers "dos XX's" $4.55!! The bill was $44.18 for two of us, yikes! It's our go-to Mexican food place. We love the food. It's SO good. We drive 20 mins to get to this location. It's the closest location to our home. We wish they'd build one within walking distance (because we would have to WALK in order to justify eating there every week, haha.) Don't take my word for it. I come here every Sunday and I have never had any issues, until today. The worst location! A bunch on high schoolers running it. Came later evening on a weekday with NO ONE there aside from the 20 high schoolers inside working. Tonight my friends and I decided to go get take out, as we were from out of town we were excited to try someplace new. There were four of us. A friend who ordered before and two friends who ordered after ALL received their food before I did mine. I asked one employee after waiting a bit where my food was and how much longer it would take. This employee told me it would be out in another 5 minutes. We waited approximately another 8 minutes and asked again. Not one employee acknowledged my question. After another guest ordered their meal I then asked again where my order was. Another employee said again it would be out soon. At this point that answer is unacceptable and we asked for a manager. An employee called for the manager on duty yet this said person didn't acknowledge her employee or us as guests quickly. When this manager on duty came over we asked her where our order was and why it was taking so long since it was just tacos and nachos and that the other girls had gotten their meals. This manager on duty (Rylee Burt) shrugged her shoulders and had a sour, very confused expression on her face. We then asked if there was someone else who could help us with this situation, Rylee honestly looked very confused and unsure of how to take care of the situation. I have worked in customer service and have been a manager personally for 19 years. I understand if someone doesn't know the answer to a solution, but there should be affirmation that there will be a resolution. I think further training for this type of situation is needed. In terms of food, mine and my friends food is now cold and without flavor. The portion sizes are not the greatest either. read more

We had a great experience tonight with a phone order. "Johnny B"(Tyler) was so friendly and kind. He explained my rewards and seemed to be enjoying his job. When picking up our order not only were we greeted right away we were help by other workers who were just as friendly as the young man on the phone. Its fast food style where you order and take your order # and drink cup back to the seat of choice. Ok, thats easy and service was friendly. Standard issue fountain drinks...I chose Minute Maid lemonade. My order was a 2 taco combo one beef, one chicken. This came with rice & beans. My problem was the greasy fried shells and lack of fillings. The exception was an abundance of shredded lettuce. I call for a refund as we will 20 minutes away from the restaurant. I am told no refunds given. I can return the food for new food and drive 40 minutes back and forth. Not an option for me!! So I usually stop at least once here when I come to Queen Creek. I try to order something different everytime. So this time I ordered the #2 Combo (chicken taco, bean tostada, rice and beans). I added a single carne asada taco on the side. Everything was fine except the beans and rice. My order was to go so I did not notice the rice and beans until I got home. I literally got a spoon of rice and mostly beans. The rice looked old and dry to top it off. It looked like yesterday's overcooked left over rice. The cook taking the orders stared right at me when he was taking orders. So I am not sure if he just did not like me or this is your typical rice and beans order.
