We have grabbed food here quite a few times. They make a good breakfast burritos. I recommend.

If I could vote a 0 star that's what it would be. Me & hubby decided to try this place out, BIG MISTAKE! I had ordered the three shredded chicken taquitos with guacamole on top of shredded lettuce, first of all who puts guacamole on top of lettuce and then it's put on the most smallest plate......really. Hubby ordered the Carne Asada burrito if you could see any Carne Asada in it, GOOD LUCK all we seen was rice, rice and more rice......no joke! Oh did I mention the wheat tortilla wasn't even fresh. Then the complimentary chips with a bottle of sauce, is what they call salsa, we could have went elsewhere for better authentic Mexican food. Never again will we return. Might I suggest that the big burrito that was put on a dinky plate be put on a bigger one. How the hell do u have the room to cut it up without it slipping off the plate??? read more

First experience at this place - The atmosphere walking in was great and mellow. It's a Mexican food establishment but very modern, for the most part clean, and still had the Mexican music playing in the background. I had the #11 combo: 3 chicken taquitos with rice and beans. Very good and well made. My wife had the #12: a beef burro with rice and beans. She didn't think it was too good but the flavor of the meat was good. Very friendly service. Fast, and complimentary chips and salsa. Going back to my for the most part clean comment above - tables had dirty plates sitting on them from pervious dine ins. From the time we sat down to eat to the time we left, no one took the time to clean the tables. Other than that, good food for a great price! I'm pretty surprised at how far Someburros has fallen over the last few years. Tonight was an especially disappointing meal. We had watery beans, overcooked (old?) rice, out of stock drinks of choice, pollo fundido cooked wrong, and more. I don't usually write bad reviews, preferring to focus more on the positive, good experiences I've had around town with restaurants maybe you haven't heard of, but I feel like it's important to hold others accountable at the same time. I was just pleased with all aspects, it was a busy Friday night signs of a great restaurant. However I've found when busy some establishments lack in areas trying to meet demands. I was thoroughly impressed with the speed and efficiency of the staff in keeping the dining room clean and avail. Ice machine loaded and with a happy demeanor. I called at 8:43 to place an order. They're open until 9. They would not take a phone order, which ironically is the only way you can order from this establishment.... So when I asked her how I could get food, the answer was simply that I couldn't. So really they close at 8:30, not 9:00. As a restaurant owner myself, that is the worst form of customer service you can offer. If someone walks thru my door at 8:59 and we close at 9, and they order the whole menu, we stay and make it for them. I've even had people come in after closing that we take care of. Guess I'll have to find better food elsewhere. read more

Prior to today, I would have given this place 4 stars. But as of today, I give it one. It is March of 2020 and everyone should be on the same page when it comes to hygiene. If your employees are sick, SEND THEM HOME. Do not allow your sniffly employees to cough into their open hands and then immediately serve food to customers. Whenever we visit from California, we always make sure to stop by SomeBurros, at least once during our trip home. This location is by far our favorite. The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious! The customer service at this location is one of the best we've had at any restaurant. Specifically Laynie! We were there right when y'all opened at 9am, for my husband to get his breakfast burrito fix before he deploys, in a few days, overseas. Our favorite location, great food, and even better customer service! We'll be back when my husband returns from deployment to eat some more burritos! Are these people for real? Who the hell is doing the cooking? They didn't have very good reviews here but decided to give it a try anyway And boy are we all sorry! Their salsa taste like they just poured it out of a tomato sauce can and added a lot of oregano! Gross! The cheese enchiladas were hard with hardly any sauce! I'm not sure if the cheese was hard and overcooked or if it was the tortillas that were over cooked! My God it tasted awful. Also had a green tamale! No flavor! How are you gonna charge four dollars per tamale that has nothing inside. And again the sauce was minimal and tasteless! Also the rice and beans that came with the combos were tasteless! Oh my Lord and the food was cold. We ordered and right away we left to go get the food which we live five minutes away. I would've bet money that they already had the stuff laying around and it was old and they were just waiting to pass it on to somebody who came to pick up food who wasn't eating there so they could dump their garbage on somebody! IWe ordered several other different things but I'll tell you nothing was good! I don't even know how they're still open! My sister said there was a bunch of young kids working behind the counter. But that isn't the problem, apparently whoever owns this place doesn't know how to spice up and flavor their food right! What a disappointing $60 meal! The family that supposedly owns that should be ashamed of what they're putting out to the public! Cheap ,unflavored garbage ! Do yourself a favor and don't come here! By far the absolute worst "Mexican food" I have ever had. My stomach hasn't hurt this much in a long time I am actually hoping I vomit. The food was flavorless and seemingly old past it's expiration. The restaurant was very clean at least and the people are friendly but I will never go back here. Sorry some burros you are not a winner. read more

We have been to this location a couple times and the food has been awesome both times. You get large portions and the prices aren't high so a family of 4 can eat there for less than $35 for dinner. That's impressive since it's hard to eat a fast food restaurant for less than $30 anymore. I got the chimichanga with shredded chicken both times with green sauce...amazing. It was more food than I could finish. I like that the meal automatically comes with sour cream and guacamole because a lot of places charge you extra for those items. Let me start off by saying that I love Someburros and have been eating there for years now but this new location in Queen Creek is THE WORST! We've ordered takeout there three times and all three times they have screwed up the orders. In each case the receipt was correct but the food was wrong. In all three cases they only offered to have us come back and replace the incorrect item. So the rest of the food can go cold and we can lose another half hour of our time because the kitchen can't do their job correctly. No thanks! Thankfully there are plenty of other places to eat in QC now so Someburros can count on someone else business! read more

Been eating someburros since I can remember, grew up on the hot sauce and chips! Love the atmosphere and friendly staff always a greeting when you first come in and always busting their butts every time I'm in! UPDATE: Annalise has moved to a new restaurant in Mesa and Taylor is now the manager. Every single time I go there, I'm impressed by the way the restaurant is serving the customers. The food is great... especially the green sauce. The food presentations make the dish look like what you'd see on the menus. The staff up front is friendly and they always make me feel welcome. Some of the counter help even remember my normal order and ask me if I'll have "the usual". Perhaps I eat there too often, but I think not... I just keep going back because I love the food, the people, and the restaurant. Go Taylor! You are kickin' it. read more

Yes, only 3 stars... and yes I know they just opened.. they were out of Mr Pibb... it's only been 1 day... since opening. Also the outside patio seemed abandoned as far as cleaning goes.. left over rice and beans on the tables/benches and ground... along with other food particles... the shredded beef in the tacos were nice tender and juicy... yet the shredded beef inside of the taquitos were extremely dry. Sunday night, checked website, said they close at 9. Pulled into their parking lot and called at 8:39 to place an order so I could just go through drive thru. Jacob said he couldn't take my order because "kitchen was closed". Then I asked what time they closed he said "8:30 tonight". I said "8:30?" He said, " well 9:00 but the kitchen is already starting to close". My suggestion to this establishment would be to not advertise that you are open until 9 if you are going to shut your kitchen down at 8:30-8:40. read more

Probably he worse tacos and Enchiladas I have ever had. Went in for Taco Tue. And got cold shredded beef and under seasoned chicken that was pressed not chicken meat. They somehow gave us an enchilada instead of taco, so we tasted that and it was just awful. This is at best a fast food restaurant that failed. read more

As far as a sort of fast food restaurant goes the food was much much better than taco bell a little more expensive too. It did not taste like a good mom and pop mexican restaurant, but you know that going in. I will say the staff was very friendly. I have gone 3 times and taken my dog which they allow on the patio. Really not sure why I keep giving this place chance after chance after chance. Everytime I go there if we do take out, ive got to take each item out and ensure that its the correct order individually. RIDICULOUS! We order a pint they give us a cup. We order red chile meat they give us red chile sauce. We order 2 tacos they give us 1 taco. Seriously have had to call them practically each I get home because they dont get our order right. I'm not freaking driving back everytime they get it wrong. I could see if i went at the busiest time and it happened once in awhile, BUT EVERY SINGLE TIME is unacceptable.
