Wow, reading the reviews below I am not sure some of these people went to the same restaurant that I did? I stopped in to grab dinner Monday night it was about 7:30. I had never been there so I struggled a bit determining what I wanted for my family. The cashier was extremely patient, she smiled and helped explain each item and was very plesa t as I changed my mind a time or 2. Just to be sure she read my order back to me and made sure it was correct. I waited about 10 minutes, I had a large order, 3 taco salads, and about 10 tacos to go. The counter person that gave me my order read it back and double checked everything was there. She was very sweet, she represented your company very well. ordered the bean and cheese burrito and they said they charge 85 cents for the cheese. I expected to see a nice bunch of cheese however that did not happen. The burrito was 96% beans and hardly any cheese at all. Could not even taste the cheese. Total waste of $5.70 for a BEAN burrito. There was more cheese on a taco bell burrito. Tried to order online it says pickup orders not available. So I told my husband to just go to the drive thru. He gets there and is told the drive thru is for pickup orders only...he is in his pajamas and doesn't want to go inside. So now we got Taco Bell. Not sure why this location is not allowing orders to be placed online or in the drive thru. They weren't even busy. read more

I think I just had the worst taco ever. It was a special taco day at Someburros. At 5:00 the dining room was empty except for us. Tacos should have been hot and ready to go. But, still took 15 minutes to get them to the table. The tortillas were of the corn type and were almost burnt. The shredded beef were big chunks and had to be cut with a knife, definitely not shredded beef. The shredded beef was dry and tasteless. The complimentary chips were cold and not too tasty. The salsa was watery. This location is not our favorite any more. The final straw was the soda fountain. Under the grate where the drain is was just plain nasty and hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The food at Someburros San Tan Village is a lot better. Another good choice would be Fuzzy's at San Tan Village or Chipotle. read more

You gotta try Someburros in Queen Creek. Ramon and Mattie in the kitchen really do it right. The green sauce isn't too sweet and the chips and salsa are a favorite attraction. Someburros employees really take care of their customers and will make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. They have a drive through now, which I've not tried, but from the line, I'd say it's a pretty popular option, too. Try it. You won't be disappointed. read more

I'm disgusted by the food served here. It was our first time and we were very disappointed. As soon as I got my order I noticed the tortilla for my taco was cold and it cracked right away. So I asked them if they could switch it out for a warm tortilla, they apologized and agreed to do so. I get my plate back and it's the same cold tortilla. The food quality was not very appealing, the rice was burned, the food was cold, so we immediately stopped eating after the first bite and asked for a refund. The only good things I can say about this place is that it's clean and the front customer service is polite I wouldn't recommend this place at all. If you want actual Mexican food go to Nando's. I went in today with my daughter we ordered two bean burritos,there was nobody in there our chips were broken into pieces couldn't even put salsa on them a group off six came in after and got there food before ours they said it was because they made them to go and had to remake then I ask for a fork all they had was plastic they said the regular forks were all dirty and needed washed. plastic forks kept breaking and the table was so wobbly surprised we did spill the drinks. bunch of young kids running this place that have no experience in what they're doing.definitely won't come back read more

Not all someburro's are created equal. Go to the one at SanTan mall. It has never disappointed. I promise I'm not exaggerating when I say my standard green chili beef burrito order had about 1/3 of the amount of meat I get when I order it from the good location on Market street. This one was about the same size as one those little microwave burritos from the grocery store freezer section. So disappointing. read more

Their food is so inconsistent and almost always wrong or something missing. We've eaten here over 10 times and it's never been great or correct. In addition, the worst thing they ever did was allow orders through the phone pick up line so now it's an actual drive through which takes forever. I placed an order for pick up today and waited in the drive-through line for over 30 minutes and of course my food was cold by the time I picked it up this clearly does not work and their food is not as fast as they think it is, need to go back to phone orders only in the drive-through line. I generally refrain from reviews, so here it goes. I grew up with the originators of Someburros (Ponchos). Frequented the Tempe location once I moved to east valley. Now a Queen Creek resident I was happy to have some comfort food so close to home. The customer service at the counter was phenomenal. Good job ladies!!! The food quality was surprisingly poor, my very warm chicken taco meat was placed in very cold taco shell....my rice was several huge clumps on a plate...literally....this is no exaggeration. My husband ordered the verse scramble and although he loves this dish he was provided with the eggs, green chili mixture which unfortunately presented dry and cold, thank goodness for the warm beans. Needless to say, the long gone creators that provided their now grandchildren or great grandchildren (whom I'm sure operate the business now) may want to preserve their family reputation by placing higher level food prep at their Queen Creek store. read more

Went in with a group while out house hunting, no one was in line and there were about 4 tables sitting and eating. The dining room was clean and well kept and condiment bar was stocked well too. I'm only giving this three stars because the food wasn't very flavorful. It was just ! Nothing like I have ever gotten before or at any other location. Saturday night. 7:30pm. Not a lot of people in the restaurant but they must have just had a rush. Tables and floors were all messy and no silverware at all. We waited quite a while for our food and when it came it was literally room temperature. We got cinnamon crispies and the whipped cream was completely melted when they brought the plate to us the same time as our dinner. This isn't a drive thru. You need to place your order ahead. Which is fine. The burritos are tiny though and mostly tortilla. My tortilla wasn't even warmed up and you have to pay extra for salsa. Who charges extra for one salsa? I can't believe I paid that much for a mostly tortilla burrito and extra for salsa. read more

Used a delivery service to order chimichanga green chili sauce. Never again. The sauce was awful. All I could taste is too much lard.

Great service, no bluff or evasive responses to our questions. And we had a lot. Still using lard, also known as pig belly fat in their beans, that makes it authentic I guess. We are relegated to eat the pinto. But we can't get the vegetarian burrito because it's not vegetarian. The tortillas are also cooked in pig fat, or lard. The rice has lard, but no chicken broth. The lady figured out we were not okay with pig fat and also mentioned we couldn't eat the chips that are cooked in the same oil. Awesome. So I'm eating a bowl of beans and some salsa on top, with some side soft corn tortillas. This place isn't bad, it's clean, nice and friendly. I want to throw a shout out to the employees at "Some Burros" in Queen Creek to let them know how impressed I was with the outstanding service. First of all I thought an order was called in for me and pulled through the called in pick up window, only to find out the order had not been called in. As anyone would I tried to move out from the window and park my car to go in. However, the Manager came to the window with a pleasant greeting and told me not to worry about coming in and to let her know when I was ready to order. Now this doesn't seem like much but I am use to being rushed at fast food. I was treated with respect even though I was not ready to order and in the wrong line. They were patient and very friendly.
