They even have a special collaboration ice cream for the Bridgerton series. I sampled the Queen Charlotte sponge cake, which was incredibly delicious. I decided to go with the seasonal tropical bloom, which was refreshing and incredibly tasty. And of course, I couldn't resist their popular gooey butter cake! Yum! While their prices are slightly higher than regular ice cream shops, I found them to be well worth it. Plus, if you fall in love with one of their flavors, you can take some pints to enjoy later at home. The ladies at the store were super friendly, and they told us we could try as many flavors as we wanted. The overall place is super cute, simple, and well put together. Can't wait to come back.

The most enjoyable aspect is that they allow and welcome you to try the unique flavors. Also, the scoops are smaller so you can enjoy more variety. There is complementary water and plenty of seating. The line was long but moved very swiftly. I highly recommend Jeni's.

We had a dubai crepe, honestly, it's the size of a New York pizza slice. I thought the kataifi was just at the top "crust" but the entire crepe was stuffed with it. Smooth, creamy chocolate & pistachio drizzle with the perfect crunch in every bite. It's RICH, good but definitely get a drink & maybe add some strawberries for acidity to cut into the thick richness of it all. I'd recommend sharing this, even with just two of us it was alot. I think it was $15, with the scoop of ice cream. The staff was nice & dessert came out quickly. The girl who cashed us out asked how everything was, we were asking her opinion when ordering & she was super nice. We'll definitely stop in again!

There was a decent crowd and it didn't take long at all to order. The cashier was super sweet & allowed me to try a sample of the red velvet cake ice cream (it was mid) so I ordered the brownie sundae with a scoop of vanilla. It includes a free topping. Of course I ordered oreos. The brownie was warm but it was underwhelming. The inside was cute & aesthetically pleasing & the inside of the restaurant was clean which is most important! Idk that I'd go back but they have a wide variety of desserts from crepes to mini waffles to milkshakes. Check it out if you're in the area

Holy mother of Moses... I could eat that Nutella nitro ice cream every single day. No regrets. The place wasn't too busy, but we did have to wait a bit--some bigger groups were ahead of us, waiting on their frozen delight. While we waited, we started chatting with one of the groups and found out we shared a birthday! After we got our glorious ice cream, we sat outside and that same group came out and asked me to take a photo of them. Then their mom took a photo of me and her son--because, you know, birthday twins! It was such a sweet moment. I love connecting with strangers, and we were laughing so hard it made the whole experience even better. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed--nice, but short on words and not super chatty. Still, they got the job done and handed me my Nutella masterpiece, so I'm not mad. I love love my ice cream made this way. It's my absolute favorite. It doesn't melt as fast as regular ice cream, and watching them make it is half the fun. I actually passed this place the other day and thought... maybe it's a sign I should go back? So yes--you must try it. Yes--I'll be back. And no--I'm not interested in any other flavor than Nutella. Hahahaha I said what I said.

The fresh kanafeh is always warm, crispy, and perfectly cheesy with just the right amount of sweetness. The service has always been friendly and attentive, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back.

This is a bittersweet review for us to write. As you can see, we posted our first glorious review…read morein 2017 when Bigdash first opened and could not have loved this place more. It was SO special. We haven't been back in many years and not only did that magical original location close, but what we found instead was this monstrosity of a location that felt hyper corporatized and commercial--in other words, soulless. Listen, we don't begrudge them their success. And we were so happy for them when we saw them being mentioned in the NYT a few years ago. But now Bigdash has gone full American--they've expanded to multiple locations, the quality has gone down, and that je-ne-sais-quoi magic is completely gone. We came here yesterday after a stellar meal at Khashoka, excited since it's been so long since our last visit. We walked in (it was freezing) and the whole place looked like a Disney-ified version of the original Big Dash. There was one woman working, and she was very friendly, but what a different experience than mingling with the original owners in the unpretentious cozy ambience. The worst part is that the ice cream is nowhere near as good! The original Arabic ice cream's level of rose water was off and the ice cream's stretchiness felt less organically created. The pistachio was OK. Our daughter got this crazy container of small individual frozen fruit shapes that were covered in chocolate. Those felt cute and special and we liked them all except for the grape. Again, we're happy for Bigdash's success. They deserve it. But we will not be back again because what we loved so much about this place is no longer. Tis the American way, alas! Three stars and sincere best wishes to them.

I went on a Monday afternoon and there were only 3 open spots. The staff is incredibly friendly, and very happy to give advice, offer up choices, their favorites, etc. The architecture and layout was interesting, tall ceilings, open, airy, inviting. You can go through the drive thru, or you can walk up to one of the order windows. The menus offer up all that there is to choose from, there are also several large banner / posters of some of their frozen concoctions. I went with the James Brownie Jackhammer. Loaded with Hot Fudge, Peanut butter and more. Yummy but a little pricey. Not enough hot fudge in my opinion. Just a large dollop in the middle and it dripped over the edge and I lost most of it on the floor. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area. Enjoy my photos.

They have seasonal flavors, and in the fall, that means pumpkin pie ice cream. On their menu, it says that there is a piece of pie in every cup. I believe it. It was creamy, with bits of crunchy graham pie crust. It was delicious! The drive through always seems to have a line of cars, but it goes pretty fast. I recommend looking the menu up online or taking a picture of the first menu placard when entering the drive through. This way you can study the menu without holding up the line. They don't have a two way speaker for taking your order. You'll pull up to the window and talk to a cheerful young person eager to help fulfill your frozen dessert dreams. You can park and go inside to order. It looks like they have limited seating inside and out. If you choose this route, you will have to play frogger to dodge the traffic in the drive thru. The place smells like Willie Wonka wonderland, so it may be worth it to thoroughly enjoy the olfactory part of the show and walk away still smelling like heaven.

Watching the taiyaki being prepared adds to the experience since the fish shaped pastries come out warm and freshly cooked, creating that contrast between hot pastry and cold soft serve that defines the shop's appeal. The signature Ahboong is the main reason to visit, combining creamy soft serve with a freshly made taiyaki cone. The soft serve has a light, smooth texture that feels less heavy than traditional ice cream, and there are plenty of flavors to mix and match. Matcha, ube, cookies and cream, and other rotating options give plenty of choices, while fillings like custard, red bean, and Nutella add an extra layer of sweetness. The taiyaki itself is one of the highlights, with a slightly crisp exterior and a fluffy inside that pairs really well with the ice cream. The warm pastry melting slightly with the soft serve makes the whole dessert feel more complete and satisfying. Service is usually quick despite the popularity of the shop. The ordering process is simple, and the fresh taiyaki preparation makes the wait feel worthwhile. Even when there is a crowd, the shop moves efficiently, and the desserts come together quickly once ordered. The staff handles the steady flow well, and the overall experience feels smooth from ordering to eating. Somisomi feels like a dessert spot built around the experience as much as the food. It is a great place for a casual sweet treat, a late night dessert run, or something fun to share with friends. The combination of warm taiyaki, creamy soft serve, and creative flavors makes it one of those places that feels different from the usual ice cream stop, offering a dessert that is as enjoyable to watch being made as it is to eat.
