Something about my experience at this location felt very concerning. I was told my card could not be accepted, so I paid in cash, yet I was never offered my change. I was also unsure whether the individual assisting me was an employee. I only knew his name because it appeared on the screen, and he was wearing a Sonic hat but was otherwise dressed in sweats, which added to the confusion. Unfortunately, I have had several negative experiences at this location in the past, and today's incident has confirmed that this will likely be my last visit. I am currently monitoring my credit card, as the transaction did not feel appropriate or transparent. I would appreciate it if someone from corporate could look into this store and investigate the matter further. read more

This used to be an AMAZING Sonic. Always quick and correct but maybe there's new management or something but it has gotten AWFUL. It's always so slow, they give you the incorrect orders, the car hops are very unprofessional, and it seems like the order stalls are always broken now. Disappointing. FIX THIS! Due to a power outage affecting my neighborhood since before 5am and still not fixed up by 1pm I was sent on a food run by my stepmom. Half of the lanes were out due to the power so I could imagine maybe some systems inside could've been affected. When I pulled into a lane and read my step mom's order from her phone I was greeted by a very annoyed and disrespectful Victoria. I tried to be understanding as someone who works in food and beverage as a barista however no matter my personal experience I do not give attitude to my customers. The interaction happened like this: Victoria: "Hi my name is Victoria- [inset something along the lines of what can I get you]" *in a annoyed tone* Me: "Hi can I get um-" *begins to read my stepmom's order from her phone which is: (2 corn dogs, medium tator tot with cheese and a medium coke. No vanilla)* Victoria: "so you just want a regular coke, ma'am" *nearly cutting me off* Me a bit frazzled now and unsure how Sonic drinks are made: "uh yes I guess." Victoria: "what else?" Me now seeing that she rang in the coke as a cold brew. I thought maybe she had to ring it in like that due to a system crash from the storm or something: "um can I get a bacon queso ranch wrap" *silence for a few moments before Victoria's voice cracked over the speaker once again in that aggressive tone* Victoria: "What else?" Me still not seeing the wrap on the screen: "uh the bacon ranch wrap please?" Victoria: "what else other than that ma'am?" *at this point it feels like she's snapping at me by the tone in her voice!* Me very quickly: "yeah can I get three of those actually?" Victoria: "is there anything else?" Now at this point I wanted to order myself a sonic blast but felt practically bullied and almost guilty for annoying this woman so much so I didn't. Me: "That's all" Doesn't even say anything else and just gets the payment screen! And yes the coke which I had order and was rung in as a cold brew and I was given a cold brew. Shocker. By this time I was over it and ready to go home and didn't want to bother my time with correcting the order even though I should've! I don't like writing reviews. I try to be understanding since I work food and beverage but like this experience was just kind of jarring and I felt very bullied by this one individual. The young man that brought me food was very nice and even smiled while explaining how busy it was and apologizing for the delay and how the power outage affected them. If he was able to do that then there's no reason why Victoria should be so rude! I probably won't be coming back to this location and will opt for Quick Trip or the new McDonald's. read more

This chain really exploded in popularity in the last few decades. You can call it a Sonic Boom. The only good thing about Sonic is that if Meerut is already closed then at least there's something within walking distance. But this is not the kind of place that you would walk to eat, and Dallas burbs aren't really walkable anyway. And Meerut is too good - especially compared to incredible food like that, why Sonic? I have never had a bad experience at this Sonic location and I've been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This location gets the occasional school fundraisers where kids bring you your food and the tips goes to them. This location is located just past Secret Recipe across from KinderCare. Anything you order will be just like any other sonic location, I usually order a croissant sandwich and usually the occasional vanilla ice cream cone. Service is good, never had a bad experience, do note that when students are released early (there's a middle school and elementary school next to this sonic location) this location can get really busy! read more

It was one of those weird evenings where I had planned a meal for us, and made enough for a friend in recovery mode after surgery. As we delivered the meal to our friends, suddenly I wanted something different, so the wife and I stopped at Sonic. I ordered the double burger, and they brought it out to us fairly quickly. The only two glitches were that the meat was a bit on the overdone side, but the burger was still good. Also, the speaker on the order box had quite a bit of static. Haven't been to a Sonic in a while, but decided to stop by the Friday before Thanksgiving because we really wanted some ice cream and Andy's and Dairy Queen both closed early due to the holiday. The drive-in wasn't crowded so when we hit the button a young man took our order right away - one (1) small Snickers blast and one (1) large Reese's/Butterfinger blast. Like I mentioned, the lot wasn't at all crowded so I was surprised when, after five (5) mins, we still had not received our order. Having worked at Sonic in a past life I know that orders without food take priority and should be delivered within two (2) mins. Finally, after almost 10 mins we hit the button again and was told our order was delayed because there was an issue with the ice cream machine. Would have been nice for them to let us know there was going to be a delay prior to our having to ask - definitely not the best experience. I gave them 3-stars because they gave us two (2) coupons for a free Route 44 drink for our troubles and when we did get the blasts they were very tasty. This Sonic is pretty nice, by Sonic standards. Clean facility, friendly car hops, and fast service. I love Route 44 drinks and that is about the only reason I find myself stopping by Sonic these days. (Diet Coke with extra diet cherry and extra vanilla...mmmmm Yummy!) Food is good in a pinch, but certainly not memorable. Cheddar Peppers and tater tots are tasty and come hot out of the fryer . Shakes, slushes, and flurries are a great treat in the summer time! read more
