Breakfast, coffee, and service were exceptional. We especially enjoy the relaxing outdoor seating.

This place is so pretty and the architecture is amazing! We came today thinking it's a Tuesday it won't be super packed and we were wrong it was still pretty packed but we still snagged a cozy table in the corner for two. The sun was shining on a breezy cool morning so it was perfect. The pistachio latte was pretty good. It was so good I got another one to go when we left for our drive back home to Gilbert. My daughter got the fresh squeezed orange juice and that was also delicious. The food was really good it was simple but delicious. The chorizo was one of the best I've had a restaurant. It tasted maybe locally sourced or homemade. The French toast I thought was going to be very "eggy" but it was soooo good the dulce de leche, butter, syrup, and flaky salt all went so well together and it was cooked perfectly no egg taste. The only reason I knocked off a start was because the young lady who was taking our order was very rude. I asked to change my latte flavor at the last minute because I didn't know they had pistachio until I saw the syrup on the counter and she huffed and rolled her eyes. (Ok it's early and I get it this was an inconvenience to change the flavor of the latte that wasn't made yet) We were done eating and I wanted to free up a table for patrons who were waiting for a table. While we were waiting for our friend (she lives in the area and I invited her to come for a latte run) I decided to order my 2nd latte for the road and my fiends latte and I asked the manager/owner if there was someplace we could wait outside she pointed across the parking lot and suggested to wait in there since it is a nice open space. So my daughter and I grabbed the lattes and walked across the parking lot to wait for our friend . We were greeted by a nice younger gal at the desk asked if we needed anything we explained we were waiting for our friend and the manager suggested we could wait in here. No problem. That's when an older Hispanic lady walked up to us and said this is a place of business we couldn't wait in there I said the lady across the way said we could we aren't going to be long we are waiting or our friend. She continued to be extremely rude and with it being Lunar New Year, I was in no place to argue. So we walked away for sake of argument. Overall the food was good and the place is beautiful and everyone with the exception of these two were extremely nice and courteous. read more

Absolutely superb, I went with some friends and we were sitting waiting for our last meal to come out but there was some complications with our order. However, Kat came out and saw that we were waiting and quickly solved the problem. I think this place is really over hyped. The restaurant is really cute and aesthetic but the food doesn't live up to the standard unfortunately. There were pigeons all around the outside tables trying to get food from the ground. The breakfast burrito was just ground beef and eggs and the American breakfast I could have made at home, the toast was even stale. The food came out really fast so part of me thinks they already made the food, warmed it up and bring it to you. So just fast food breakfast. I probably will never go back! read more

Outstanding! The space is great. Loved the open air design. Very well decorated. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was top notch. Perfectly seasoned soft scrambled eggs on incredibly pillowy milk bread. Fingerling potatoes well seasoned and crispy. The pastries looked incredible. Atmosphere was very nice. Service was amazing!! This was our first stop once we landed in Arizona. I felt very welcomed. Food is 50/50 tho. Egg sandwich and waffle fries were good. Kimchi fried rice was good also! Espresso martini first thing in the morning... perfect but the waffle was a little disappointing. It came out looking so good with the scoop of butter and gold flakes but It had a little weird aftertaste idk how to describe it. The breakfast plate was average, again the potato it had a little weird seasoning. Other than that I would definitely comeback to try something else! read more

10/10 the line was long but it went by fast and was worth the wait. chorizo burrito was amazing. The French toast was also amazing. The price was just right. We are visiting from California and wish this place was closer. Will be returning in the future. I almost forgot the espresso martini is so worth getting. Currently craving another one. read more

Man this place is amazing, I love the openness of the restaurant. Can't wait to comeback during the summer. My girl got the Cesar Salad Schnitzel and I Chicken sandwich and man was it JUICY. Wow! I'm so impressed. I love the ambiance of this restaurant. To start I got the vanilla latte which was so yummy. Then, I got the breakfast sandwich and the waffle & both were outstanding. Even the side fruit was so good. Only downside was it took awhile to order, the line went pretty slow! But they're so new so it was expected. read more

It was sooooo delicious! So cute! We ordered the egg sandwich which was so messy but so worth it(!!!), the breakfast fried rice which was also delicious, a breve with mocha, and an americano with whole milk and hazelnut. There was a mixup with our order and they had brought out the French toast and the fried rice. The lady was super nice when I said we hadn't ordered the French toast, gave it to us anyways and refunded it. When I said I had gotten the egg sandwich she proceeded to bring it out and not charge us. We were shocked and insistent we pay but she refused to. It was a pleasant surprise to the morning. We were a little disappointed with the lack of actual "coffee" options. Every coffee shop I've been to has regular iced coffee and a mocha, which is what me and my partner always get because everywhere has it. They didn't have either for some reason. They had mocha flavoring but not a dedicated mocha drink so we got the breve with mocha added and it was fine. Not my preference but my partner drank it. The closest they had to a basic iced coffee was an americano, and again, it was fine. Drinkable. Overall, though wonderful time! Will go again! read more

I stopped in this week to try the infamous french toast. The line was long, but it really didnt take long to get through it. The staff members meet you after you order to ensure that you have a place to sit. This was much appreciated as we had a party of 5. The food and cocktails we ordered were fantastic. I came in on the 21st & although the place is gorgeous and has so much natural sunlight I still have mixed feelings since the service wasn't so good for a Wednesday morning. Finally went to Sophia's today and man it did not disappoint. I had the stuffed French toast and it was amazing. It's sweet but not too sweet. My husband had the burritos and tater tots and they were good too. So many things on the menu that sounded amazing and their baked goods looked delicious. Was expecting a great experience after hearing so much about Sophia's however that was not the case. Upon entering there was a long line so I put my belongings on a table to get back to after my party and I ordered. However, a worker seated another party at that table and let them touch all over my water bottle and belongings that were placed on the table. After going to confront the situation, the worker notified me she would seat us after we ordered. I took my touched belongings and went to order. After ordering, that said worker disappeared and went to the party behind us instead to seat them. Left my party standing there waiting to get seated. After about 5 minutes of just standing there we seated ourselves instead. So, my water bottle and belongings were touched for no reason when I could've said that said table. Additionally, one our parties food was cold. Will not be returning. read more

Certain customer service was really good but the woman at the register seemed like she was having a day. I would love to go back and try more food but fear the chaos. The place is stunning. The small touches are thoughtful...serve yourself coffee refills and water, nice thick napkins and sugar cubes served with the hot coffee. You certainly feel the hospitality. The French toast is the star of their menu, add the cold brew coffee and it is perfection. I have tried the breakfast fried rice, the super veggie, the egg sandwich with tater tots, the breakfast burrito, the chai tea and the Everly's smoothie. Everything comes out looking beautiful but they were all just ok. Sophia's atmosphere is spectacular and I can see why it is so busy on the weekends. We prefer to go on a weekday morning, there generally aren't the large crowds and long waits. read more

Place has a unique architecture that was cute, but we were sat near the curtains which almost took me out (literally knocked me in the head before we finally were able to secure it). Food was okay, a little expensive for what it was (four items + 2 drinks was $90+, food was okay but nothing extraordinary). The staff were nice, but what really sucked was my cousins phone got stolen, we returned ten minutes after leaving to finding it gone. We called probably four times to ask the managers if we could receive video footage to which they never got back to me on after ensuring me left and right someone would be in contact (on multiple occasions, with different people). We considered it a lost cause as I could tell the employees were kind of tired of me. While I know it wasn't their fault the phone was taken, some cooperation or even being communicative would've been nice. Never heard back from them, but besides this, food was overpriced but ambiance was cute for a brunch and the service was normal. read more
