It's a great neighborhood restaurant. They have reasonable prices for good, fresh food and outstanding service. They don't charge a service fee or include a 20% tip in the bill. I mention this because many restaurants in Seattle have such invisible "add-on." read more

We've been to this place a couple of times and every time I come in I'm reminded of why I always come back. The food is fantastic, the pasta is fresh and and the flavor is incredible. But also the service is great! We recently came here and a young guy was our server -- in the past, it was a young woman. Both were equally polite and helpful. Wow my first time ordering and let me say it was top notch! Was in the mood for pizza that I wish for once in awhile or sometimes often when it's done right as an easy dinner when not in the mood to cook, so decided to give this place a call and the person on the phone was cool to take my order and everything arrived nice and well presented on a no contact delivery left on my porch. I usually order larger orders for just me and my kiddo to have leftovers and freeze some slices so I'll see how these hold up over the next couple weeks after freezing the leftovers. Talk about a giant sized pizza, ordered the biggest pizza they have, along with an order of pasta and pizza rolls and a side of cheese bread and some extra sides of sauces to go with everything. I'll probably be ordering often and not just once in awhile, perhaps every couple weeks or so which will be a great way to support this local business but probably need to take a few extra long walks if ordering often from this place. Ordering was a breeze and everything arrived nicely delivered and left for me on my porch as requested. Cheese tortellini was actually pretty good! I called in my takeout order and was originally going to order a ceasar salad and a Soprano's special. It was decided at that moment I didn't need to order any salad bc my vegetable garden bloomed beautiful lettuce and arugula! The woman on the phone (sorry I forgot her name) mentioned she would skip the salad and pack me a ceasar salad kit containing dressing/lemon/croutons! Picked up the pizza and was pleasantly surprised with how CUTE the interior was! THEY HAVE A WOOD FIRE OVEN! SO LEGIT! The pizza was DELICIOUS! The sauce was so zesty and perfectly seasoned! LOVE! I decided to support this local business during the COVID epidemic since I've always wanted to try and this was the perfect time. The order took a little longer than expected but worth the wait. I got a veggie pizza with goat cheese which was delicious. Very generous with the cheese! I wouldn't say it's thin crust- it reminds me of Dominos but not super greasy or doughy. The small is the perfect size for 1, and maybe some leftovers if you manage to save some! I will start out that we LOVE Sopranos and order once a week. Our order usually comes from the Ballard location, we decided to order and go pick up from the West Seattle location. I ordered all our usual favorites. We picked it up and got back to eat. The calzones had hardly any toppings. I had 3 pieces of sausage and my son 1 meatball. There was so much cheese and no sauce. They are usually loaded with toppings and a big cup of sauce (little cup tonight) We open our tiramisu that was so tiny it wouldn't even be considered a serving. At Ballard, they make it in the box and its big enough for 2 people. The prices are the same for both locations. I hope this place sticks around. It was pretty empty when we came in one a weekday during dinner. We had our pick of the tables in the place. The decor is cute and trendy. The food is pretty good. House made pastas and wood fired pizzas were great, and their marinara sauce was awesome. Their tiramisu was pretty delicious too. Perfect balance of the espresso and sweetness. They've been open for about 6 months. I know there's lots of pizza places in West Seattle to choose from, but I hope this place gets enough of a following to stay in business. read more

Popped into this place impromptu, as we saw it when we were going to catch a movie at admiral theatre. It is yet another Italian restaurant in a 2-3 block radius in the heart of the Admiral District. So, was not sure if this meant any oversaturation of wood oven pizza options in the area. Naturally, you will end up comparing them and decide which one suits you best. Pizza: was really good. We had the margherita pizza, and loved it. The crust was perfect, the tomato sauce was tasty, and the cheese was succulent. Green salad: big no on this one. It was drenched in their vinaigrette dressing, and the shaved cheese felt stale. Interior and decor: while it is nicely laid out, the lighting is too bright. Need to dim it down to help with the cozy atmosphere. Service: we were content with the service they provided. The staff we interacted with were good, but not exceptional. Overall, if give the place 3.5, but 4 is best on a scale that doesn't allow greater options. read more

Had dinner delivered to our AirBnb while staying in West Seattle. Hubby ordered the Carbonara, while I chose White Spaghetti, and we each added a side salad to round out the meal. Our order arrived at the promised time, it was well packed and looked great. We both enjoyed our food -- the salads were crisp and tasty, and the pasta was tender and delicious. Ordered a combo deal (pizza and wings) via Yelp. A woman called and said the combo deal was only available if I called and ordered the restaurant directly. I told her the option was available on Yelp and she should honor it. She then suggested I calm Yelp and cancel my order ( as if I had the number the Yelp?!) This went on for a few minutes. She managed to call Yelp and cancelled my order. I re/ordered with her. However when the pizza was delivered it was an X-Large instead of a large. I have no idea if I will receive a refund and will have to check my CC statement. Have no idea why this option was available and why it was so difficult to just honor it. The least she could have done was offered a discount or a salad to compensate the trouble. The pizza and wings were delicious. Yay Soprano's! Great little spot in Admiral District. We've done their pizzas, fried raviolis & a few pasta dishes over the past year or so. To-go tonight was the low carb chicken parm, Carbonara, a side salad & garlic bread. Great food! Hearty, generous portions. The add-on salad for only $2.75 more than filled my large salad bowl at home. I made a mistake getting 1000 Island (which was fine!) since I know their house Italian is so good. They look like they're only doing takeout and delivery since front of house is all configured for takeout. Check their site since hopefully they'll be able to seat customers by time you read this. My husband and I live in the area and were wanting to try this place because it looked cute and they had a sign that said gluten-free. The inside is decorative and cozy. It has a good ambience with the Italian music, woodfire pizza oven, fountain, etc. I ordered the Penne Pasta e Broccoli with gluten-free pasta, and my husband had the Capone calzone. The flavor on my pasta was good but not for the price. First, there wasn't even any broccoli . Not sure how the word is in the name of the entree but yet it doesn't have any of the actual ingredient in it. My husband's calzone was HUGE, like 3 times the size of a normal one, but he said that there wasn't much flavor. I did try the marinara sauce that came with the calzone, and it was bland and tasted like canned sauce, at best. At the end of the meal, I ordered a piece of cheesecake which the waitress served to me in a to go box instead of a plate, even though I never asked for it to go; I found this rather odd. I took off 3 stars become of the prices, service, and food lacking taste/ingredients. Given our experience, we will not be returning. This is the 2nd time my wife and I have gone to this restaurant. The first time we had a Greek salad and 2 pasta entrees that were VERY GOOD! Today we tried their pizza that was also excellent! Withnitbwe had 2 locally brewed beers. We highly recommend this establishment for Italian dining. They make home made pasta and cook the pizzas in a wood burning oven. Besides the food, the staff are polite and very knowledgeable about their menu items. They are very cautious about health issues of Covid and take adequate precautions to protect their patrons. I was craving some Italian for dinner, and decided to give Soprano's a try after reading all of the great reviews. I tried ordering online but for some reason I received an error message every time I tried to submit the order. So, I called my order in a very friendly woman answered. I let her know about the issues I was having ordering online and she happily took my order. Within less than 20 minutes, my food was ready! Upon arrival, she brought my food out without even having to ask who I was and updated me about calling the ordering system company and resolving the issue. She didn't have to do that. It was thoughtful and showed me they really care about their customers satisfaction. I ordered the baked spaghetti with meat sauce and added on a side of the house salad, with the house balsamic dressing. The spaghetti was really good - the noodles and meat sauce were fresh and delicious homemade quality. It came with garlic bread on the side which was okay (just a bit too many carbs for me with the pasta but I ate it anyway!). The salad was fresh greens with tomatoes, olives, mozzarella cheese and the balsamic side I ordered. All refreshing and a great balance to my carb overload meal. Based on the customer service and the fresh, delicious quality food, I will definitely be back again when I'm craving some pasta. I should try their pizza too some time based on others reviews. This is only on delivery. I've ordered a number of things from them now, 'cause I'm lazy, and I like to order food. I dunno. Every time it's just...meh. When I ordered the garlic cheese bread, it wasn't really bread, it was a small pizza crust folded over with cheese. They don't answer the phone when there's an issue. The pasta's kinda gummy. Not much meat on the gyros pizza but almost whole cherry tomatoes. I ask for it cooked well done and it's really brown on the bottom but the cheese is barely melted on top. The guy comes through your closed gate, sees your dog, and then leaves, knocking the gate open as wide as possible on his way out and leaving it that way. There's just always something that makes me go :-/ . They're quick though. read more
