Yellowtail, scallops, Hokkaido ikura, Hokkaido uni, spicy lobster

Mostly impressed with my temaki except the scallop one. Hokkaido uni and ikura were my most favorite for fresh, flavorful, and creamy without fishy smell. Spicy lobster and Kumamoto yellowtail were tasty too. My least favorite was scallop because with this price, I didn't expect scallops would be cut into pieces. Service and atmosphere were nice.

It's a cute rooftop handroll bar nestled in the outer corner of the farmers market at The Grove. It's nice that they validate parking if you park at the lot (not the garage parking). We came for a late lunch on Saturday and luckily it wasn't busy so they were able to accommodate our larger party with no wait. Service was friendly and vibes were good. Our server gave us a tutorial on how to form the handroll since the seaweed comes separately for freshness. The fish was fresh and everything comes pre seasoned so there's no sauces to add. The rice was different than your typical sushi rice but it was complementary to the fish! My favorite was the Toro Truffle Jalapeño temaki but the Kumamoto Red Snapper was a close second. The temaki was smaller than I expected (size is roughly a loaded nigiri). The crispy rice tuna was good but one of the pieces was a little more toasted than the others. We ordered those to share amongst the table so the uneven doneness was noticeable. I would probably come again for the toro temaki or to try the trio, but I think for the price, there are better options available that would be more filling or have more standout flavors.

I ordered Sora off of Uber Eats and they were doing a buy one get one for their spicy salmon hand roll and their spicy tuna crispy rice, so I gave those two items a try. There's nothing super special about the salmon, the fish is OK, I do wish that it was a bit spicier, and that they didn't use the suite, Unagi sauce, and something else. I do like their crispy rice, again. The tuna was not that spicy, however, the flavors were pretty good. It also traveled fairly well, it was still pretty crispy by the time it got delivered to me. They also didn't provide any wasabi or ginger, which I thought was kind of weird.

I went for dinner here with the understanding that we could order off this menu and the one fountains at their sister restaurant Savta. When we arrived they made it clear that we could do that but we had to order the majority from Sora. Sora does tiny 2 bite sushi at a high cost. Their chef is adamant about no ingredient adjustments which is unfortunate because he uses a lot of eel sauce and won't allow you to order without it. The presentation is fancy but don't come here hungry unless you're willing to put down a lot of $ for a meal. I would say there are SO many better places to check out in the area. The food we tried, while small was ok, but it did not blow us away.

Sora provides an elegant rooftop temaki experience that blends quality fish with stunning views. Our party ordered the popular, recommended rolls like the Kumamoto red snapper, scallop, spicy bluefin tuna, and toro truffle jalapeno which tasted fresh and exciting. I enjoyed the crisp nori alongside the fresh wasabi to pair with the rolls. The spicy bluefin tuna and scallop rolls stood out most as they were a combination of slightly sweet, savory, and having a clean texture. The service was great, but the wait was 40 minutes within an empty restaurant.

I love a low key ambiance and solid hand rolls. Sora is a great addition to the Farmers Market! It's located on a rooftop and you enter through Savta, making it feel like a hidden spot. Their handrolls are pricier for the size you get, but the fish was definitely fresh. I'd recommend ordering 3 for a snack or 5 for a light meal. I enjoyed the salmon truffle and the trio the most. Kumamoto red snapper was too salty for me but it seems to be a favorite. Overall it's a nice restaurant away from the hustle and bustle at the Grove!

i visited Sora months ago and I thought I made a review but it disappeared. Last visit the drinks were amazing but the food was lackluster and hard to enjoy given the plastic we needed to take off of each roll. Now they have revamped the serving style. Rolls come deconstructed with seaweed on the side. I prefer this to the plastic but at this price point creating my own roll feels wrong. I ordered 5 rolls, 1 was great, 1 salty, 1 super sweet, and 2 mediocre. Always great service and ambiance. Cute date spot. As in drinks and a few rolls for an appetizer prior to going to your actual dinner reservation. Tip: If you're not already at the Grove/Farmers market skip entirely but it's cute option if you're already paying for parking.

SOOO GOOD. Randomly came here during lunch and it didn't disappoint. Located above the restaurant Satva and it is front facing the parking lot of the Farmer's Market. Cute but small spot. I enjoyed being able to see the Farmer's Market clock tower from where we were sitting. Ok the hand rolls are amazing. You build it yourself. They present you with the inside of the handrolls that come on these lollipop sticks, then you place them in the crispy seaweed, take the stick out, and enjoy. My favorite ones were the TRIO (uni, caviar, toro) and the KIMEDAI with yuzu kosho. I think what really impressed me was their side of wasabi which was Kizami wasabi. It's marinated and chopped, almost pickled like wasabi, rather than the typical wasabi you get that's made from powder. Service was kind and prompt. Shoutout to Mari! One star off because I thought the edamame portion was small and I personally don't prefer when the rice on the Crispy Rice is fried. But that's just my personal preference!! The food is amazing. Worth the visit!

I took my partner here to celebrate pre-Valentine's Day and our experience here was absolutely incredible! Food: 10/10! My partner and I started with 3 temakis each, but actually went for a second round as it was so delicious. The highlights for me were the Toro truffle & Red snapper! The lychee martini was also amazing. The cucumber salad must be slept on, it was different compared to the cucumber salads I've had before and I loved the yuzu taste to it! Service: 10/10! My partner and I were running a bit late because we couldn't find parking and a nice lady called us to confirm our spot as we reserved the rooftop view. I told her our situation and she said she was saving our spot. Once we arrived, we met with her and she showed us to our table. As we got to the table, we were greeted by our server Angel. Angel is the definition of an amazing server! My partner and I asked him for recommendations and he was very attentive to us even when he had multiple tables to take care of. The other servers were also very kind and checking in on us to make sure my partner and I were alright and were on top of taking care of dirty dishes. At the end of the day, my partner and I confirmed that the service here was the best we've had in a very long time dining out. The experience was just absolutely incredible and I really needed to highlight this. Ambiance: 9/10. We booked the rooftop view and the rooftop was nice as there were also heaters so that we wouldn't get too cold, but the rooftop experience only really showed views of the Writers Guild of America building and a Trader Joe's. Don't get me wrong though, it was still a nice experience! Overall, my partner and I are definitely coming back here because everything was absolutely amazing as well as the service! We can't wait to be back and try out their sister restaurants!

Beautiful location on the side of the Farmer's Market by The Grove. Balcony space and a bit snuck if sitting at the bar. The waitress was not so friendly and if you wasn't going to order more than one hand roll or more, she would want to rush you out from the restaurant asap. Food is fresh but in small portion, and definitely would not go back.

Located at The Grove in the Farmers Market area, Sora is a hidden gem tucked away on the rooftop. It's a cute, slightly divey temaki sushi bar with a great vibe definitely a cool spot to impress a date. The sushi was fresh and flavorful, and the handrolls had that perfect crisp seaweed wrap. Everything tasted great, but the portions were on the smaller side and a bit pricey (they've got to pay that Grove rent somehow). We came in the evening and had a beautiful view while sharing a bunch of handrolls. Our server was super nice and attentive. I left a little hungry, though, so come here if you're not too hungry and just trying to impress.

Had such a great first experience at Sora, and a huge part of that was our server, Angel. From the moment we sat down, he made the experience genuinely fun, warm, attentive, and incredibly kind without ever feeling overbearing. Angel was professional, knowledgeable, and had a way of making first timers feel instantly comfortable. He answered questions, offered great suggestions, and kept the vibe relaxed and welcoming the entire time. Service like that really elevates a meal. Between the atmosphere and the exceptional service, Sora made a fantastic first impression. If you go, ask for Angel, he's the real deal. I'll absolutely be back.

Tried out Sora sushi over the weekend! It was a great experience! Our server was awesome, he gave such great recommendations. He was a huge part of our great experience. We tried his recommendation of the toro sushi and caviar appetizer ! We wanted something to eat it with, so he was able to order us a bread basket from downstairs(highly recommend). My favorite hand roll was definitely the red snapper. Definitely underestimated this roll. So savory and fresh. Unlike any other sushi ive ever had before! Such a great recommendation from our server. I was shocked at how much i liked this roll. All the rolls were delicious. Sauced by the chef with specific sauces/garnishes. So no soy/ginger needed! This spot is definitely worth a try! Great lunch spot overlooking the city!

One of the best sushi spots I've had a in a while actually. We didn't really do any appetizers and went straight in for the fish. Started off with a couple of hand rolls, we did the crab hand roll and O toro hand roll. Crab hand roll wasn't as impressive, I've had better to be honest. I didn't let that experience ruin it for me because the toro hand roll was delicious. I think they add a piece of mint and it complimented the hand roll. Very crunchy nori wrapper and good rice to fish ratio. For our sushi we started with chu toro tuna, salmon belly, and halibut. Super fresh melt in your mouth quality. Halibut was interesting with the truffle, first time definitely won't be the last. We ended it with red snapper and black snapper. Absolutely amazing, I think the black snapper or the red snapper was slightly charred. It was so good. To say the least, this restaurant was worth it!

Nice of the chef to switch out roe for halibut for me on my omakase. However, probably the worst omakase I've ever had. No creativity, nothing felt premium, chewy fish, flavors didn't mesh, and half of it was salty. The miso soup wasn't scorching, which i appreciated at first but that meant the last few sips were fairly room temp. The real crab handroll was good. If the price point was $35 sushi set I'd give 5/5 but this is supposed to be premium omakase. I've been to other Sushi Enya locations and had good experiences, so this was very disappointing. Stick to the rolls and nigiri.
