As you can see from the photos, it is indeed on a supermarket scale size wise, with spacious aisles and walkways, unlike the original store. Snacks, instant noodles, and dry goods for Asian cooking are what they are known for. They have a refrigerated section with drinks and perishable foods and freezers with dumplings and meals too. If you want to avoid a claustrophobic and typical (not in a good way) crowded shopping environment, you will find this store more enjoyable than the Washington store. They have aisles stacked up extremely high. So be careful how you take an item down. NEVER USE THEIR LADDERS OR STEPS! Even if it's out! It's very dangerous! Ask for assistance! They always have boxes laying on the floor, ready to stock up! They even give out free samples. They make dumplings/wontons, buns & cookie samplings. They would have those product on a sale price or a bargain price $10/3 or $15/5 (depending on the product) It's not always about to expire, it's because of over stock. You find a lot of different drink mixes for milk tea and also cans of Ovaltine. You will also find different types of tea. Instant noodle soups are found from Pho Bo to Spicy Ramen. But be careful, because it's narrow a$$ aisles are insane. You WILL be touching each others butts or hips and shoulders. I never stay there longer than 10-15 mins as it gets extremely overwhelming. I feel pressured to leave or hurry and pay because it's so narrow and it's uncomfortable when you or someone wants to pass by. I don't think I full looked thru every thing to see if they even have an item or not. It's even more annoying when you line up to pay. Because there's only one line. And it gets pretty long even tho it may be 4-5 ppl because it goes into the aisles. Again, which is extremely narrow!!

The jumbo dried shrimp right in front of store caught my eyes. Stopped by real quick and got everything I needed, wish I could grab more but I had to limit myself since I didn't bring an extra luggagge. Golden Way, a great name, Lets go shop the Golden Way, reminds me of a store here at Chinatown, although very small cramped store it's very organized. Owner does a great job at storing everything and making use of all the spaces. Lots of Asian products here but no fresh produce or frozen products . Credit cards accepted as well, which is great! I ended up using my credit card for my entire purchase since usually cash is preferred in Chinatown. My co-worker wanted a specific soy sauce but no luck in finding it. What did I end up buying here at Golden Way, a LB of jumbo dried shrimp ( I think it was $24. or 25. lb) dried salted fish, dried scallops, long rice noods, pickled veggies, siracha, sauces, condensed milk, preserved eggs. Why on some of the products, Prices actually lower here. The only thing I wish Golden Way does is have prices on some of products, I had to ask how much?! The owner is nice & patient with me. I will be back again! I can't wait to use all those goodies, it made it safely back to Oahu.

I found the items I wanted easily, employees were friendly. One thing that was kind of awkward was the music...it was loud and very explicit to where it made me uncomfortable. I'm no pearl clutcher, but a plethora of f bombs and nasty talk at 10 am while I'm selecting avocados is a bit much. Other than that...it was a good experience.
