I always see this place while shopping at HEB and I finally decided to try it. It was surprisingly really good, especially for the affordable price. It did take a minute before it was ready but nothing too long. Since we already had to make a stop at HEB we decided to give the pizza a try. We ordered the large meat supreme (with a few modifications). The employees were very friendly and accommodating. It was very convenient to order and the pizza was ready right after we checked out. The pizza was still very hot when we got home. We were pleasantly surprised with how good the pizza was as well. Best pizza ever! Got the small 8 inch meat supreme with veggies. Just enough for 1-2 people. The crust was crispy, the pizza was hot and the cheese made that long string when picking up a slice. There was pepperoni, Italian sausage, beef crumbles, bacon, chicken, Canadian bacon, mushrooms, colored peppers and onions. So many delicious toppings. Nice large area in this HEB that has tables and booths to enjoy your pizza. The nicest H‑E‑B in town is this one, The Alon. I've been to other south flo at HEB's but this one is top notch. Stopped by to get groceries at HEB and South Flo was having a pi day special. $3.14 for a personal 8" pizza! I've heard great things about this place so I figured I'd give it a shot. There are two options: 8" or 16" pizza. They're customizable so feel free to add as many toppings as you want for one set price. I went ham on the toppings, I ordered the 8" with salami, ground beef, jalapeno, pineapple, and red onions. MmmMmM. It came out in less than 10 minutes! I did not eat this pizza fresh, but it smelled so good. I dived in about an hour later, so the pizza was cold. I don't normally like cold pizza but damn this pizza was amazing. The dough is pretty light and chewy. The ingredients tasted more fresh than other pizza joints. I can tell that they used FRESH pineapple and jalapenos. That's what stood out to me the most. Dangatang!!! This pizza is munching good!! To start I love the regular crust size and its toppings and quality. Talk about some serious flavor. You know, have I ever told anyone that Pizzas were originally square shaped and were between thin to thick crust. Amazing how a popular food originated as a simple meal with the toppings but evolved to have different kinds of toppings including pineapple and ham. This is also the favorite of Ben Wyatt. I got the Meat Lover's pizza. It was extremely salty, as in a LOT! We couldn't tell if it was just the pepperoni and/or sausage or just everything on the pizza. We ate half and threw away the rest of the large pizza. Several years ago tried their pizza and didn't like it but can't recall exactly why. Still don't care for it. read more

One star because of the convenience and the other star for the price. I agree with a couple of other reviewers as far as something has changed. Six months ago it was an acceptable pizza. Acceptable enough for me to order it again. But last night it was like rubber. I took a piece of the crust and tossed to to my dog and I think it's still bouncing around the house somewhere. Although no pizza place can overcome Pepi and Ronnie's on Huebner as the world's worst pizza,this was close. Very impressed with the whole experience and pizza. I came in ordered a pizza and they told me it would be 8 minutes and I had some time to do some shopping. They give you a form you check what you want and it's $10 no matter what you get. As I walked up I saw a sign that said text "pizza" 23370 and you get $2 off. I shopped got my pizza it was beautiful. I would have to say I'm very impressed with how delicious it was. You can tell its made like a wood fire pizza. Flavor was amazing and the ladies that made it/checked me out were super nice. The pizza is such a good value, and they usually have a coupon on top of the already stellar deal! $10 for as many toppings as you want! You can choose one of the pies on the menu or you can create you own. This location does not have the happy hour beer deal like the other locations, as they do not have a tap. But maybe they can get a beer tap put in in the future to just put the cherry on the awesome sauce sundae! I am so hooked on this pizza and I crave it more than I do other places. The crust, toppings, and price are so on point! And with it being inside H-E-B, you order the pizza, do some shopping and then come pick it up on your way out, it's that easy (you can also call ahead or from what I understand have it delivered via an app, but I'm not sure which one)! read more

First things first, they have recently changed their ways of pizza making. So with that in mind, I am disappointed in their new ways. Before, their pizzas were gorgeous! The crust was a nice size, and a really good chew. The amount of cheese and other ingredients were perfect for me. (Even though I usually just get pepperoni and sometimes with Italian sausage) But the cheese was mouth watering, okay. Picking up a slice made me feel like I was in a commercial for pizza with the way the cheese looked. The wait time was not bad. Like, at all. And I've seen a line form all the way out the door. Now, the wait time seems longer, and apparently it's because they have to weigh their ingredients and cheese and sauce! Which I guess needs to be a certain number because I've seen one the workers looking at something while putting ingredients on and stop after a small amount. And now the pizzas look pathetic. It's not super cheesy and the crust is super crispy, like almost burnt crisp. I guess they've cut down how much they put on and it's not okay anymore. I give it 3 stars because the price is really good, the coupons make it a bit better, but it would have been 5 stars if they kept their old ways of pizza making. read more
