I liked the atmosphere here. Parking lot was full but street parking was easy to find spot. There were two entrances to this place, so we went to the booth where the bar was located. We ordered 18" KAUA'I Whole Pie (pizza): Tomato sauce, mozzarella blend, spicy coppa, fresh pineapple. Taste OK and oily. I ate one slice, and my husband ate 2 slices, I took the rest home. The staff at the store are very pleasant.

I really, really want to like South Town Pie. It smells amazing when you walk past their storefront, and my nose never steers me wrong. Well, almost never. I went for a slice of pepperoni, and unfortunately this pizza was extremely floppy. So much so that I couldn't eat it folded because the tip kept drooping. I don't have a problem with greasy pizza, but not if it overwhelms the crust. Maybe I got unlucky, because it looks great in photos. The service is really friendly and the whiskey selection is good, so I wouldn't rule out a return visit. Hope I just caught them on a bad day.

PLEASANT ATMOSPHERE, FRIENDLY SERVICE, GOOD PIZZA. My friends know I'm a pizza snob from New York where I grew up in Manhattan. I've said It before and I'll say it again. "The best pizza slice is in New York, And the best New York slice is in Brooklyn. " Ok so that's out of the way. The pizza here is New York style, the crust is almost perfect. Holds up to the fold test. The topping may be a little light but is tasty. Most slices are of course, reheated, so unless you have a really good cheese and sauce, the topping tends to dry out. Personally, if I'm at a pizza stand and see one come out of the oven, I always ask for a slice from the fresh one. There is no shame in this and you will usually be accommodated. The place is split in two. On one side is the pizza Joint, on the other is a full sports bar! You can sit at the bar and order your slice or pie. This was really fun. The bartender was great and fun to chat with. I would go back next time I'm in the area. Cheers!

Veggie like ratatouille and sausage with fennel ! Both were very good

The pizza here is so good! The slices are warmed up before serving and had a nice crunch. I thought the sausage and fennel pizza was perfect and not too salty. My friend really enjoyed the cheese slice & the veggie slice. The veggie slice has eggplant, zucchini, and yellow squash like ratatouille on pizza. The sauce on it was different and more of a orange color. My friend said it was delicious! 100% would return

There are two doors you can go into, the one on the left is the one for the bar and to be seated to eat, the right is for pickup and orders for only pizza. They have booths lining the wall and a bar as well as a few tables. There are two TVs with sports on. The bartender, Grant, was very nice and helped us fast. The Mac and cheese was okay but the sauce was a lil sub par and it was dry, I wouldn't order that again. The jalapeños were super spicy since they didn't take the seeds out but they were bomb. The pizza was so yummy! The crust was so good, a little crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside and not too thick to be overwhelming. We will definitely be back again.

I just ordered pizza, brought it home and the bottom of the pizza is super burnt... ate it and it was sour. I am absolutely disappointed. Pizza should not be burnt. I do not know why they served this to us.

Great gluten free crust. Be ready to wait for dine in service. It's worth the wait though.

We love hanging out on South Town's back patio. Drinks are always delicious and staff are great. It's always fun to try the unicorn slices.

Jalapeno peppers wrapped in bacon. Well they put a ghost pepper oil on them and it's just way to hot. Can't even taste the food.

Amazing as always…read more The food is delicious with well balanced flavors and made quickly. The staff is on it and always busy but quick with it. There are a few options of where to sit: Indoors near the front where there are a few booths and bar seating where it is dark and you won't know what time of day it is unless you are by the windows Indoors near the back has some tables as well And outdoors also has a fireplace that is nice for rainy Seattle dining. Very fun atmosphere and good drinks as well. Strong.

One of the dishes I miss after moving to Seattle from the Midwest is the humble tenderloin…read moresandwich. A giant plate-sized piece of pork, pounded flat, breaded and deep fried? Yes please. After finding out about Loretta's Northwesterner, which is basically the only place in Seattle that serves tenderloin sandwiches, we made it a priority to visit on a surprisingly rainless and cloudless February winter weekend. Breaded Pork Tenderloin Sandwich ($18) - That's the stuff. A perfectly fried and breaded tenderloin, easily 3 or 4 times the size of the almost vestigial bun, topped high with veggies (on the side, of course, to assemble to taste). It's a very respectable size, larger than many places I've visited in Indiana and Iowa. Thick breading encrusts a perfectly cooked tenderloin, allowing a hard crispy shell to develop, while the interior meat, pounded flat, remains tender yet moist. Both the breading and pork are liberally seasoned with salt, pepper, and spices, which creates a well seasoned bite. They include tons of romaine, red onion, tomatoes, and tangy pickles - with everything in place, I almost had to unhinge my jaw to eat the sandwich. The bottom bun is slathered with an ungodly amount of mayo. It's necessary to add more creaminess and fat to the relatively lean meat. The one qualm I have that prevents me from anointing this sandwich the best in the west: the bun. While toasted on all sides, it's dry and kind of crumbles apart while eating. Otherwise, this sandwich is excellent and easily competes with the many pork tenderloins I've eaten in the Midwest. (5/5) Fries ($6) - A $6 basket comes with a generous portion of freshly fried potatoes. The fries are skin on, which basically makes these crisp starchy sticks a health food. I found them to be fried a bit too far, rendering the interiors fluffy but dry. They have good crisp exteriors, though, and aren't overly salted. (4/5) Tavern Burger ($7) - Loretta's is actually more famous for their burgers than the tenderloins, with many publications in Seattle claiming they serve the best in the city. People often recommend getting the Double Tavern Burger, but we opted for the single given that we were planning on a couple of stops for desserts and pastries afterwards. For a full meal, I'd definitely want to upgrade to the double - the single isn't that large, probably comparable to a cheap fast food burger with a slightly larger patty. The beef is heavily charred in flavor, lending a great smoky aroma and a beefy bite. It's cooked well done, so the entirely of the burger is the same brown color, but there's more than enough moisture coming from the other ingredients to offset the dryness of the beef. There's a requisite slice of melted American cheese on top and plenty of fatty mayo-based secret sauce underneath, dressing a bunch of chopped onion and sliced pickle. The tanginess from the pickle balances out the fat and meat quite well. I'm not sure I'd call the burger the best in the city, but it's certainly pretty good. (4/5) I don't eat at dive bars very often, but I'd definitely return to Loretta's for the tenderloin sandwich. It's not a dish commonly found in the PNW and the fact that Loretta's rendition is actually really good, is a boon to the city. Bathrooms - Two tiny unisex rooms
