Grandview not only gave her a reasonable cost on the oil change, they fixed her door issue for free. They gave her the right advice on quoting the window issue and did the work in less than half the already reasonable cost quoted. I live in Wisconsin and not being close is not ideal. The other was a gentlemen who directed me while pulling in my car, he gets a 3/10 because well he was rude. Had I not interacted with him I would've given this place 5 stars. I was given the option to stay in the car or go inside, I was pressed on time so I waited inside. It took about 15/20 minutes from the time I pulled in to when I left. There was a coupon online which brought my oil change to about $70, seemed a little high but at that point it didn't bother me- I assume they charged what was needed. If you're in need of quick service oil changes this could be a solid option.

To not fix anything!! I said my check engine light was on and wanted to know what was wrong. If they needed to do more than use an electronic reader to see what the check engine code was they should have told me ahead of time about need for (and cost of) further diagnosis. Edit: Scott (the owner) called me and apologized, saying they should have let me know about the cost of diagnostics up front before performing the work and they issued a refund. I appreciate the communication and customer service after the fact, but still wish this had been handled better from the get-go. Their price was still 500%+ higher than my guy who does car work on the side is charging for it, and while I get that they have shop costs, workers, warrantees and whatnot to cover they still seem to consistently run a significant amount higher than other shops. ($62.23 for the part which costs $25 to buy myself from AutoZone is over a 200% mark-up alone...)
