So delicious. Chicken teriyaki when it's done right is one of my favorite meals, and this is quite right. Stoked they popped up at the Mar Vista Farmers Market. Owner so sweet and working hard. The meat was perfection, grilled perfectly with a wonderful smokey soy sauce flavor. Excited to try the beef options next time. Loved it.

This place is REALLY GOOD! I'm not going to lie, I originally was a little skeptical when I first ordered. The menu is super simple; beef or chicken skewers, with rice and a shredded cabbage salad with house dressing. I got three beef skewers - I assume the same is for chicken, but I'm not sure. When the cashier (she was super nice!) told me that it came with three skewers I was a little skeptical that it may not be enough food. I was definitely wrong! The beef skewers are $12 and the chicken is $10. The portion was actually perfect for me (and I like to eat a lot). You could probably save half for two smaller meals if you don't like to gorge yourself as much as I do. So price to quantity ratio, 5 stars for sure. Now the actual beef was awesome! The skewers were perfectly cooked and the marinade was done flawlessly. It reminded me of a combo between Korean BBQ and Hawaiian BBQ - definitely in the same tier as a high quality restaurant of either cuisine. The rice was cooked very well and the cabbage was shredded super thin, which I liked. The house dressing was insane! It was not what expected and I mean that in the best way possible. It was like a creamy, garlicky sauce that blended with the flavors of the meat perfectly. A perfect ratio bite of rice, salad w/ dressing, and meat was transcendent. I'm not sure if they have actual soy sauce, but I didn't get any (I forgot to ask). I ended up just grabbing a bottle from Mitsuwa since I needed more anyways. The only qualm I have is a lack of vegetarian options. While I enjoy meat, my partner does not partake. We normally eat together, so I probably won't be returning as often as I'd like. They should add a tofu skewer option! It's just as easy, if not easier, than the other skewers and will open their target market massively (especially in LA!). And maybe throw in a couple packets of soy sauce per the name :) All around, 5 stars for food, service, and price. Add a veggie option and I will be returning often!

I'm addicted to Soy Sauce Bento. For meat and Yakitori lovers, this place won't disappoint. You can't go wrong with any of their meat offerings, from the Beef and Chicken listed on the menu, to the secret menu items that vary from week to week (Short Rib, Tenderloin, and my favorite--Ribeye Cap AKA Picañha). It's all charred to perfection on a bed of charcoal, and each bento comes with rice, refreshing cabbage salad, and this dressing that's basically crack. Japanese food is simplicity at its finest this is exactly that. They are located on the row of street food on Centinela and Venice Blvd, in front of Mitsuwa Market. They're usually there Fri-Sun from 7-10 PM. It's been such a pleasure getting to know the owner, Jordan, and his family who lovingly put these bentos together every week. You can tell they just LOVE FOOD, and won't cut any corners to deliver quality meals. Words and pictures can hardly describe the quality and passion that goes into their food. Been here 6 times in 5 weeks, that speaks for itself!

This company has perfected the marinade of yakitori and haven't tasted anything better than outside of Tokyo.

The meat was heated right in front of me and was incredibly juicy, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The salsas paired perfectly with the burrito, and everything was made and rolled to order. For around $10, you're getting a burrito that's practically the size of your face and packed with flavor. The carne asada is the star of the show. It has an amazing char, is perfectly seasoned and tastes fresh every single time. The atmosphere is great too. Good music, friendly staff, and a hardworking crew that always seems to have a smile on their faces. They have a self serve toppings bar with plenty of options, and while some people may be hesitant about that at a taco stand, everything is always clean and well maintained. I've eaten here many times and have never had an issue. The sauces are absolutely fire. The guacamole sauce, spicy green salsa and red hot sauce all bring something different to the table. Nothing tastes old or like it's been sitting around. Everything tastes fresh and is made with care. This has become our go to spot. We've tried a lot of taco stands and food trucks throughout Los Angeles, and honestly, nothing else has come close.

It's so good, highly recommend coming here if you haven't. So glad my buddy Aaron showed me this taco stand! I didn't really believe the hype but the line wrapped around the parking lot and we waited over 30 minutes but it was worth it. Parking was very easy and the line goes by really fast too. Once you get to the front you see all the meat getting cooked and the al pastor on the spinning machine where they cut off the meat. They employees are in a line cooking, prepping and asking what you want. My order is the burrito with carne asada, cabeza, no cheese, add potato instead of beans, rice. Potato was nice touch and good substitute. For all the non-cabeza people who have never tried it before or was scared, don't be!!! I was one of those people and found the meat to be very very flavorful and juicy. They then hand you the burrito, you go to the cash register, pay and while your doing that you put your toppings on, then they wrap the burrito for you and you are on your way. Make sure to get some of their green avocado sauce. It's non spicy which I love too. Eat your food in your car, on your car on on the curb!
