Ken has been serving up the most PHENOMENAL bulgogi beef's burgers, tacos and bowls for 2 years! Everybody needs to come try this DELICIOUS Korean bulgogi spot! You won't regret it! Bulgoki tacos were first class. There are numerous food stalls along this stretch of Lincoln Blvd and this one is at the top. Korean street food is surprisingly rare on the West Side. This one was tasty and a good deal

Underrated spot! First off, the people who work this stand are SO kind and friendly. I was able to customize my spice-level for the beef bowl which I loved since I prefer somewhere between mild and spicy. We got the tacos because they sounded good and super glad we did!!! We also tried the spicy pork bowl which was delicious. Good portions but glad we got 2 bowls and the tacos to split between two very hungry people. I would go back just to talk to the workers . Definitely worth pulling over and trying because the food is GREAT!

This is a fantastic street vendor with a friendly, hardworking husband-and-wife team. Their menu includes Korean beef burgers, beef rice bowls, beef with noodles, instant ramen, and Gimbap. Living in West LA, authentic Korean foods or Asian foods in general are difficult to come by. When they finally open they are usually well overpriced comparing to their counterparts or even their exact same stores on the Eastside. So when I heard all the raves about Assa K Food I was like, "let's go!" It was a chilly evening when we visited so that made the Korean street foods that much better because we were HANGRY. The aroma that came from the stirred fried noodles and bulgogi was unreal. The spicy ramen definitely hit the spot as well. The owners (a Korean couple) were incredibly friendly and generous. We are returning here soon. Can't wait!! read more

Absolutely love!!! This is a stand on the sidewalk in front of Whole Foods on Venice & Rose and probably my favorite Korean Bulgogi in L.A. It's run by an adorably sweet couple and they make everything themselves down to the kimchee & sauces. I cannot fathom how they give this much high quality food for a mere $12. The beef is spectacular, the veggies fresh, and everything is made to order in front of you. I give them a perfect score and go at least once a week. Best bargain on the west side! read more

Great Korean Food. My mom is a fabulous cook, so my palate is snobby and hard to please. The food is well done - flavorful but not too sweet nor greasy. The veggies that came with the bulgogi and spicy pork were fresh and delicately sliced. Living near Westwood, I will have to trek all the way over to Venice to get my fix. read more

I never write reviews so you know it's good if I write one. The owners also deserve more business since they're so kind. I've past this place a few times and ate at the other street vendors because they simply had longer lines. The food here is goated. Bulgogi bowl had tons of ingredients which were all fresh. $12 u can't really beat it. I'm glad I came super hungry cuz when they were making the tacos they also looked really good. After finishing my bowl, I got 2 bulgogi tacos for $6 which were also fantastic. Highly recommend if you're in the Venice area read more

If I could give Assa K-Food a standing ovation, I would. This place isn't just serving street food--it's delivering soul food, memory-making food, next-level, "where-have-you-been-all-my-life" food. We came for the bulgogi beef and were absolutely blown away. Every bite was a flavor explosion--sweet, savory, tender, and perfectly marinated with love and intention. You can taste that it's made from scratch. It's not just a dish--it's a masterpiece. I've eaten a lot of bulgogi in my life, but this? This was hands down the best I've ever had. Every time I've stopped by the husband and wife have been incredible! The ingredients are fresh and the food is made to order. There is a wide variety of items of different price points. I always add a few of the smaller items to my order. You can tell that there is an appreciation for making things homemade, whether it's the sauces, sliced meats, or sesame seeds. read more

Spectacular Korean street food in Venice. You really find nothing like this in all of Los Angeles. Plus this stand really stands apart, the owners are incredible and warm. Chef makes all his sauces, cuts and marinades his own meat on the spot, all ingredients are very fresh, with painstakingly made product. Casual, affordable, neighborly, and delicious. Can't wait to try more of the food. Loved the spicy pork tteokbokki the best, so much depth of flavor and incredible textures all around. As a major pineapple fan, I understand it's more traditional to add that with al pastor but I add it onto my carne asada tacos and it is so yummy. Their pineapple is freshly cut right in front of you and is my favorite aspect of this vendor as I know not all vendors have it. Lastly, let's be clear that not all horchata is created equally but El Primo has superior horchata. The amount of milkiness and cinnamon is absolute perfection as I've had some watery horchatas in the past, so make sure you grab yourself a horchata while you're here. As someone who lives in the valley, despite recently discovering this spot a few weeks ago I find myself driving out to Venice a lot lately just for these tacos because they are just THAT GOOD and also very cheap. The service was fast but not rushed. Immediately about to sit and put my bags down the server already dropped a menu off and a glass pitcher of water. The menu was pretty extensive but I went with the tuna melt and BOY it did NOT disappoint. The tuna melt was incredible. The flavor was on point, pretty hardy. I got the choice between fries or fruit and got the fruit. I don't think the sandwich took more than 10 minutes to get out. Fresh and hot. Had two cups of coffee, kind of wish I got something from the baristas- the drinks looked fantastic. 10/10 would go back. I wish I would've taken a picture but honestly was way too hungry to remember. Must try!!

It's become one of our go-to breakfast spots. My usual order is the pancakes, bacon, and eggs. The pancakes are big, fluffy, and definitely filling. My favorites are the chocolate chip pancakes and the banana pancakes. One of my friends always orders the shrimp and grits, and on our most recent visit another friend tried the shrimp omelet and really enjoyed it. They also have mimosas, which are a nice treat after a long shift. The staff is always friendly, and despite how busy it can get, the service has been consistently good. The restaurant can get pretty crowded, but since we're usually getting off work, we arrive around 8 a.m. and don't have much trouble getting seated. The only downside for me is the pricing. Breakfast here isn't cheap, but I will say that I always leave full and satisfied, so the portions definitely help justify the cost. Overall, if you're looking for a solid breakfast spot with generous portions, good food, friendly staff, and a lively atmosphere, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Multiple small tables are inside the shop and there's free tea water for guests. Staff was nice and friendly, letting us try multiple samples. Hojicha Honey Ball is strongly tea flavored with pieces of honey crumbles. Pandan Milk was a creamy milky treat with a coconutty flavor. Hope to be back soon! I will say the pandan milk was disappointing cuz I could barely taste the pandan flavor.

The strawberry matcha einspanner was also yummy and had a great presentation The space is pretty small but there are a few seats available. The line was around 20 minutes long on a Saturday afternoon. Like most spots in ktown, the parking lot is limited and you'll likely need to find street parking, but it is definitely worth the hype!
