2:50pm - Please note that the "supervisor/manager" who is listed as the Business Owner on here has responded to me on Yelp "Please let this be the last communication from your company or its representatives thank you" which is what I texted them as a response at 1:44pm and yet they insisted on contacting me again anyway. What company does that?!? How is it that they have gotten so many positive reviews?! It definitely isn't me causing the problem. 2:28pm - I get a call from Andrey who now identifies himself as the supervisor/manager. He's arguing with me that it isn't fair for me to leave a bad review when I haven't even used their service. Still, no acknowledgement that they've done something wrong and he has the audacity to tell me that I'm not being fair and he's getting upset because I'm leaving a review that is fact-based in my experience with him and his representative on the phone. What kind of company is this?!?! There was no use in continuing to debate this and this time I hung up. 1:44pm - The follow-ups were worse than the original call. I get a text from someone there that reads as follows, "we understand, moving is stressful sometimes however with us its not on the 15th we have a pot open on the 15th for morning or afternoon" My response is, "Mmm yeah moving is stressful so the moving company shouldn't make it more so. I was polite and my tone was pretty pleasant given I had nothing against your company given it was recommended to me by someone else. You (or your representative) decided to be rude and hang up on me for a simple inquiry. The lack of acknowledgment shows the poor level of customer service at least over the phone because from what I'm told your movers are good, decent, hardworking individuals. Unfortunately, because you have an incompetent person manning the phones, I'll never know that. Have a good day." Now you'd think they'd get the hint and either stop replying or at least reply with an acknowledgment someone over there messed up but instead I get, "if you change your mind, you have our number". My response, "Customer service is a huge factor in making my business decisions. Your company's lack of it sunk any chance of my dealing with your company. Please let this be the last communication from your company or its representatives. Thank you." 12:50pm - I wish I'd had the same good experience as some of the reviews I've seen online. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I called about 2-3 weeks ago and I got a rate of $120/hr. Then I had spoken to someone afterward who recommended them because she said she had paid $80/hr. So I call back today and spoke to William to inquire and as soon as I mentioned that they had moved the referred party for $80/hr, William hung up on me. I can tell the difference between a call disconnect and an intentional hang up but to give him the benefit of the doubt I call back. Someone picked up the line, I'm assuming William, and said nothing but I could hear someone breathing and I said, "Hello. Hello." and he didn't speak. So I call back a 3rd time and I got Andrey who seemed like he was on the road or something and I explained the situation and he said they have never moved anyone for $80/hr. My response was, "Well he could've said that but instead, he hung up on me.". Andrey replies, "When is it that you wanted to move?" My reply, "I'd rather not deal with a company like that." and this time I hung up. So William calls me back from a different number an hour later and I had to decline the call because I was on another call. Mind you, I declined the call without knowing it was William. I call back the number back and apparently, he recognized my voice and says, "Talk to me." I say, "I tried talking to you but you hung up on me." He replies, "Remind me again what happened." I explain what happened and he says, "If you want to reserve a spot you can come by the office and drop off the deposit in cash." No apology, no acknowledgment even that he was rude or even try to lie to me and tell me that the call was dropped. What kind of company is this? This is the type of people they have representing them on the phone? Did I just catch this person on a bad day, not that it would be my problem?! Based on my experience, I definitely wouldn't recommend this company. read more

We hired Space Moving for a local move. They misquoted our move by 3x, our final price was triple the cost of the estimate. I would have understood if we went over the estimate, honestly even if it was double the estimate. We had 3 person crew and they took 9 hours to move a 3 bedroom townhouse to another townhouse 10 doors down in the same subdivision. Communication with the crew was difficult and the crew would have many moments where they were just talking among themselves. I called the office to let them know we were unhappy, however they also provided the same poor customer service. Overall, I feel the crew moved incredibly slowly. Moral of the story take their quotes with a grain of salt and don't count on any customer service to address your concerns. read more

I had a two man crew with a really big truck (my guess is over 30').I had a living room and a bedroom that I share with my 2 year old. About 30 boxes,a Harley Davidson, a queen bed, a couch with 2 seats and 2 ends tables and a coffee table, an inversion table, an ikea dresser, a crib, and some other odds and ends for kids. The move was from a 2nd story to a 2 story townhouse. The stairs at the old place are hard to navigate. They did a great job overall. On the way to my new place (20 miles) I followed at a discreet distance and my only complaint is that they stopped for about 2 minutes (presumably navigating) and they took the wrong freeway to add like 8 minutes to the trip but whatever. I didn't mention it when we got to the new place and they did such a good, fast job I forgot at the end. It took about 4 hours and total cost was 545 not including a tip I gave them. Space Moving did an excellent job moving my Mom's furniture from her Assisted Living facility to her new group home, which was about a half-mile away. They were courteous and efficient and had all the extra boxes that I didn't plan for. It took a while to move the furniture to the truck - downstairs and a small elevator. Once we got to the new location, they moved everything in and set it up for use. They charged a little more than what was posted on the internet, and they charged $10 per hour for using a credit card, but cash was not mentioned in the negotiations. They got the job done, on time and in a professional manner, so I really shouldn't complain. read more

Amazing! I was pretty nervous about booking an unfamiliar moving company during these times, but I'm super happy I did. When I was first contacted by Space Moving after inquiring about local movers, they were extremely flexible and understanding of my situation, they gave me an amazing quote, and the referred me to referrals on multiple sites and their BBB rating when I was skeptical. Part of the reason I was skeptical was that the quote for a long distance in state move was less than my last completely local move. When other movers contacted me and asked what price I had been given, one laughed, and another literally said "well, good luck with that" no one would come close. Today was my actual move, these guys showed up and immediately got to work, they packed up the items I had inevitably forgotten to pack, and made the whole thing look easy while I ran around frazzled they simply handled everything. They loaded the truck in less time than I expected and wasted absolutely no time verifying my address, and getting on the road. Unloading once we reached my new house was even more streamlined. The team made sure that absolutely every item ended up in the exact room and location that I wanted it, and next thing I knew they were packing up their supplies. I couldn't believe they had finished so quickly. Now, here's where I say Amazing. I was completely expecting that they had under quoted me and expected the move to cost at least 20% over quote... (partially because I think maybe I have more things than I like to admit)... but when it came time foe the final bill, not only did they not go over, but they were more than $200 UNDER the quote that other movers had laughed at!!! I scheduled my move with Space Moving on short notice, but their salesperson/scheduler was up to the challenge. My movers (Vladimir, Maga, and Malek) were delayed in their earlier scheduled move, which had them arrive an hour past our scheduled 2 hour window. The team were all very nice, and they came prepared to move. The team wrapped and loaded my home into the truck and did a good job. The offload at the new place was also fairly issue free. My only real difficulty was at the point of payment, their system repeatedly declined my credit card, which set specifically for the move. I hired this moving company based on their initial quote of $365 for 3 hours, with no hidden fees or additional charges. The person the phone granteed me it wont be more then 400 dollars no matter what and no tips or anything like that, However, I was shocked when they presented me with a bill for $600 after less than 4 hours of work. They also charged me for 45 minutes of driving time and became increasingly rude, demanding that I tip them. To make matters worse, I later discovered that some boxes and electronics, including my Xbox, were missing. When I contacted the company about these issues, they denied any responsibility and offered no assistance. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this moving company to anyone else. Be aware that they have numerous hidden fees and charges that will be added on at the end, making them a bad choice for your move. I called all over town to hire the best co. I received over 20 quotes! They were a little bit less per hour here and they were the most flexible for arrival times. I hired them 2 more times as it took us plenty of help to move all our stuff. He answered in the evening and sent some nice sober young man that arrived the next morning! The mover worked alone since I only hired 1 guy. I would recommend 2 or 3 to save yourself time. He worked so very fast and kept a great attitude even though I was totally stressed.
