Here for brunch, would love to come for dinner. For a weekend I tried getting reservations well in advance but obviously not that well. Will need to be more proactive next time. As for brunch, I really do not know if it is 100% first come, first served at the 11:00 AM open time for table position, but it is well worth coming early enough to wait in line and get a choice. Outside, on the amazing patio with an absolutely prime view of the Bellagio Fountains, or inside next to a window with a prime view of the Bellagio Fountains. Yes, this place has a great view. It is a little loud with an in-house DJ but not obnoxiously so. Either way, I think you need to take that into account coming here. Service was absolutely top-notch and did a great job with menu suggestions which were needed for me when trying to figure out where to go on the brunch menu. I ended up being extremely happy with the BACON & EGG Pizza - PARMESAN, LEEKS, THYME. It was a unique item and tasted wonderful. I think the only downside was it was kind of a flat (yeah, it was pizza) experience. Whereas, the HANGER STEAK 'TARTINE - SAUTEED MUSHROOMS, PICKLED SHALLOTS, BEARNAISE SAUCE, CRESS, which someone else had at the table who was gracious enough to give me a sample of, had more of an adventure of flavors. The table also had the ARTISANAL BREADS & PASTRIES - CULTURED BUTTER, SEA SALT to start and for brunch this was a great, and light, way to get prepped for the meal ahead. LOVED EVERYTHING!! From the servers to the interior and most importantly, the food - everything led to a beautiful time. Our server was very sweet and considerate and kept trying out the few Hindi words he knew to make us feel welcomed. It was very sweet. We were a party of 6, celebrating my our wedding anniversary. At the beginning we were a little apprehensive about the food and their corresponding cost, but the whole thing felt truly worth the coin. To start with, we ordered a focaccia bread which was crispy and yummy. For the mains, we ordered a black truffle agnolotti , tomato spaghettini, lamb rack, and a chicken dish. Each plate was beautifully presented, and the flavours took it all to another level. Every bite was so satisfying. To wrap up the great meal, the restaurant got us spiked lemon - a chiffon cake with mouse and meringues, along with some delicious chocolate chip cookies to celebrate our special occasion! We have a special love for Spago! our experience is always outstanding.. we didn't have reservations and figured we would stop by for a quick bite and drinks before the show "O" it was Sunday night so figured shouldn't be too bad.. we got to the hostess desk and we were told they were booked out for the night..we mentioned that it would be a quick in n out for us since we gotta make it to the show and we were told "sorry nothin available" no mention as you can try the bar.. we walked to the bar area anyways and after speaking to the bartender he managed to get us a 2 seats at the bar with in minutes!! Awesome! Got our drinks and couple apps.."octopus" was delicious.. my husband also liked his Manhattan.. however he said "ocean primes is better" hahaa We were there for 35 min max.. I saw few tables available but hostess desk just sends people away.. bad for business.. The DJ was blasting music at 11am, which some would like, but I am barely waking up and prefer a peaceful brunch with the girls where we can converse. The food and drinks came out in a timely manner :) our plates were swapped out after our seafood appetizer. I asked for my utensils to be swapped out after my shrimp and lobster, before my French toast, and I appreciate her offering new utensils to the entire party. The lobster pasta seemed underwhelming on the menu but turned out to be very flavorful and delicious! One of the girls felt lightheaded, so I went to find a staff member. He saw me walk towards him and proceeded to walk the other way. I was confused at first, then realized perhaps he thought he was in the way. He brought a pitcher of lemonade immediately. When we arrived for our dinner reservation, we were immediately seated outdoors with a prime view of the Bellagio fountain. The exquisite location combined with the exceptional service throughout the meal made for a very magical experience overall. We ordered the Baja Blue Fin Tuna Tataki, House Smoked Salmon Pizza, Lobster Campanelle Fra Diavolo, and the Spiked Lemon dessert. The Baja Blue Fin Tuna Tataki was a very solid start. It was an extremely tender, quality piece of fish with an excellent complimentary dressing and garnish. However, this is a dish I've had many times at much more casual sushi restaurants and it has tasted just as good. Possibly Spago's most well-known dish is their House Smoked Salmon Pizza that is topped with plenty of Kaluga Sturgeon Caviar. The first bite of this dish was magnificent. The heavy, overpowering flavors spearheaded by the salmon and caviar were elegantly balanced with the relief that the airy and light crust provided. On top of that, the dill cream added another layer of complexity to this dish made for royalty. I think overall this dish lives up to the hype that proceeds it, but I would caution that it can start to become a bit salty after the first couple of pieces. I think the ideal situation for this dish is having enough people to share with so everyone gets 1-2 pieces. For our main entree we had the Lobster Campanelle Fra Diavolo. The pasta and lobster were both cooked to perfection and provided a complimentary contrast in textures, mouth-feel, and flavors. Combined with the spicy sauce, this was a very enjoyable dish. Finally, for dessert we got the Spiked Lemon. After cracking open the hard exterior chocolate shell the expose the gooey lemon filling and lemon cake, we discovered a beautiful combination of elements. The hard crunch from the chocolate, the soft, moist cake, and the smooth lemon filling all seamlessly combined into a delightful bite every time throughout the entire dessert. While every bite was similar in composition, the ratio of elements would slightly differ and highlight a specific component. Overall, Spago was a great restaurant that really highlighted the luxury that Vegas has to offer. Every dish was great and we left very happy and full. With that being said while very delicious, I felt that the Baja Blue Fin Tuna Tataki and Lobster Campanelle Fra Diavolo were both dishes I could order elsewhere and get the same level of quality for a fraction of the price. Thefore, my main caveat when dining at Spago is to be adventurous when ordering and trust the recommendations of your waiter. Do not fall into the trap of ordering food that you may be comfortable with because you've eaten it at another restaurant before. read more

I believe some items on the menu are seasonal but the highlights of our dinner was the butternut squash agnolotti, prime aged cote de boeuf (a little too charred on the outside but the meat inside was so tender and rich) accompanied by the amazing and interesting pommes aligot (blend of mozzarella and Comte cheese), and spiked lemon for dessert! I expected this restaurant to be more hype than substance, but I was wrong! Every element was superb, from the hostess, to our waiter, to one amazing dish after another. All restaurants in Vegas are going to be pricey, but it's totally worth it when the service is first class, and the food is so memorable. I was craving oysters and my friend had never tried octopus. Spago is located in Bellagio hotel where you can look at the fountain show right in front of you with Paris hotel (Eiffel tower) backdrop. You will be amazed to see the beautiful view while dine in. Ordered octopus as an appetizer and veal and pasta for the entree menu. I especially liked their mishroom cream sauce fettucine dish. And what we surprised me the most was the dessert. We ordered the spiked lemon and it was delicious! It was very smooth and the yuzu flavor was not too strong and not too creamy. The service overall was good and I liked the part when the dessert was served, the server came and explained us about the ingrdients and how to eat it. This is such a pretty restaurant. It is on lake Bellagio do you can sit on the patio and get the front tire view to the fountain show. We went by early in the day to get a reservation and told them we'd prefer a patio seat or a window seat inside if one wasn't available. We arrived at the designated time (8pm) and we were told we'd have to wait an hour and 15 minutes for a patio table. After waiting about 15 minutes they took us to an inside table. We sat down and a patio table opened up. That table, as well as many others that opened up, sat open the rest of the time we were there. I was pretty disappointed that the hostess wasn't a little more knowledgeable or accommodating to see if a table would open up soon. Which many did. However, the food was really good. We had the prosciutto with melon and buratta and the beet salad. Both were really flavorful and fresh. Then we had the pasta dishes. The lamb and beef papardelle bolognese was thick and rich and a nice sized portion. The sweet white corn agnolotti was a very delicate, creamy and delicious choice, however, I could have eaten twice as much as I was served. It was a very small portion. For dessert we ordered the spiked lemon chiffon bombe. It was very light, not heavy or filling. Tasted like a little lemon meringue pie. The food was really tasty. Date night at Spagos, one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. Located in the Bellagio Hotel, reservations are highly recommended and are open 30 days in advance. Definitely request a patio table, it's not guaranteed but we have never been seated anywhere else. There are plenty of heaters outside to keep you warm. Service is always top notch, wine and food is always the best and prepared perfectly. Prices at Spago are comparable to any five star restaurant with quality food, great service and a view you never want to leave. The view of the fountains are so romantic, the music makes you feel like you're in Italy and the vibe is perfect. Definitely make a reservation, enjoy the fountains every 10/15 minutes and cheers! read more

I got the fetuccine alfredo, gluten free (penne) and with chicken. It was good.. slightly sweet. Couldn't eat it all. I also had the chocolate souffle which is apparently gluten free. It was also good. We were able to get our reservation like the day of (I changed it from a different day) and I think that was because it was at a time that the fountains were not on. But it was still nice to sit on the patio and there was no extra charge for it (unlike at Prime). Also we were running late and they wouldn't answer the phone when I called to tell them. Arrived just after doors opened, not expecting to get the patio seat, but early arrival paid off as first question asked was would we like a patio seat "yes please". We were put at the very front on best table in the house overlooking the fountains without distractions. Food was fantastic and service top class. Only complaints was original server who was fantastic and said he would be serving us for some unknown reason never came back and replaced but best of night still had worth every dollar. read more

The host seated us out on the patio and even asked who was celebrating, but our server didn't mention it again, which was kind of a letdown. Things started well, but it took a while for our order to be taken, and then we found an eggshell in the poached eggs. They did make it right by taking that and the chocolate souffle off the bill, but I couldn't help but notice other servers were way more attentive with their tables. On the plus side, the chocolate souffle and brioche French toast were incredible--the real stars of the meal. Would we go back? Maybe, just for that souffle. I had a really high hopes for this place. It's been on my list for years. Our party arrived in separate groups which yes can be annoying I understand but the hostess did not have to be rude about it. Our server also wasn't the most attentive either. If I am dining at an establishment with $$$$ four dollar signs on Yelp I expect top notch service because I am paying top notch dollar. I think you get better service at in n out or the Cheesecake Factory honestly. No one looked happy to be there. It was also hot as hell and we were on the patio overlooking the fountains but .... The fans are blazing and were all dealing with the same heat here my friends. I am a smoked salmon lover so I was stoked to try the famous smoked salmon pizza BUT this pizza just tasted like your average lox bagel with cream cheese. If I closed my eyes that's what I would've guessed someone put into my mouth. A lox cream cheese bagel from the local deli. We also got a pasta that was just flavorless to say the least. Everything was so mid. Best thing was the bread and butter which was not complimentary by the way. We left spending a pretty penny and disappointed in the food. Come for the views, and stick around for the water show while having a cocktail but I'd skip this as an option for dinner. So many more amazing restaurants in Vegas. read more

This is now the second time I have dined at Spago, and it reminds me of why I will always come back. The last time was pre-COVID in the Fall of 2019. The service, the views, the food is all incredible. I was surprised to see some recent reviews that mentioned overcooked/underseasoned food or bad service, since it did not reflect my recent experience at all. We always make reservations for patio seating, since I would say the unobstructed view of the Bellagio Fountain is also one of the great features of Spago. To start, we ordered the tuna tartare. It was so light and refreshing, and paired perfectly with the nori crisp. Considering the 100 degree weather, the tartare cooled our palettes. For the main course, I opted for the lobster linguine, and the SO ordered the halibut. The lobster linguine was chock full of lobster and crab. The linguine was perfectly al dente and coated in the spicy pomodoro sauce. To be honest, when I saw the SO's halibut, I didn't even want to try it. It looked plain and sat on a bed of what looked like plain white rice. But boy, was I wrong. The halibut was so soft, flaky, and melted in your mouth with every bite. There was a salty, sweet, gingery sauce that dressed the rice and I am salivating as I write this. The halibut is like Spago's secret weapon. It looks unassuming, but was so deliciously simple to highlight the halibut. Lastly, the best for last! The burnt basque cheesecake. So creamy, delicious, and not-too-sweet. Full of vanilla flavor that was complemented with a slightly sour raspberry sauce. The service was also wonderful. We were helped by 2 people - Ralph, and another waiter whose name I did not get. The second waiter was so incredibly sweet and helped us take pictures along the patio, and even gave us tips on when the lighting would be best! My personal experiences here have been so positive that I would continue to return every time I visit Vegas. read more

Walking into this restaurant is like walking into a restaurant in Italy. The view is absolutely amazing! You have the option of inside or outside seating. You can't go wrong as you can view the bellagio fountains from either location. Now, onto the food! I started out with a cocktail featured on the menu and I couldn't have just one. I opted for the spaghetti. I love trying this dish in different Italian restaurants. I made the perfect decision as the noodles melted in my mouth. Took my son here last week for his graduation and it's always an amazing experience! Staff is exceptional and very friendly... And the VIEW from the patio is topshelf Vegas accommodation.
