One of the best brunch places in Vegas with a view !! The open patio and the tables close to the window offer stunning views of the bellagio fountains . The food was unbelievably delicious. Rolled French omelette , avocado toasts and the French toast was superb . Drinks were good too, but the food was the highlight here . The lattes ( it was on the house ) was perfect to start the day. The only bad experience was : I booked the table in the patio ( paid a premium for that ) a month in advance for celebrating my friends birthday . When we showed up the hostess was like " we don't have a patio table available now, I can put you in the waiting list but no idea how long the wait would be " . I tried to explain that I booked it a month in advance etc, but she didn't care. Then we spotted an empty window table inside , and asked her if she can give us that . With some hesitation she agreed. It was really hot outside so the window table inside with a great view worked out very well for us . But still the interaction with the hostess was a bad one. It was...okay. Service was excellent, no problems there. The caviar starter was the highlight of the meal. The steak dish and the scallop dish was just okay. Incredibly rich but not in a good way. Sat like lead. The portions are also small especially since this was a $500 meal. We ended up getting a pizza later in the night as after the food sitting like lead cleared we were hungry again (and we're not big eaters). Dined here on 4/18. Drink was spilled on me by accident. Manager came, said we'll take care of the drink for you, did not attempt to understand the extent of the spill. The sweet, sticky drink was dripping down from my underwear all the way to my socks and into my sneakers. Manager seems to think it's no big deal, but never asked or took the time to look carefully. I had to ask the manager to come again, which he said he'll "send some desserts over." Ended up taking care of the spilled drink, a pizza, and a spaghetti, for our party of 6.. thanks but no thanks. I'd rather not have to sit there with my sticky underwear and sticky sneakers. Edit: after researching the situation it seems: "at a decent restaurant you shouldn't have to approach the situation, rather they should approach you" I have to say I couldn't agree more. We had a work dinner here, hosted by our vendor, who rented out the terrace facing the fountains. Initially I had reservations about enduring a long dinner on the terrace in the dry heat. At first I was just hoping to get through it without getting too sweaty. As the night went on, the breeze helped and the view of the Bellagio fountains was spectacular. Big Eye Tuna Tartare - avocado, yuzu ponzu, marinated cucumber, nori rice crisp: Good! If the tuna is of good quality, it's easy to enjoy it no matter how it's dressed. The plate is beautifully plated with avocado cream. I made a mental note to fry up some rice crackers the next time I get a chance. Homemade Garganelli Pasta - zucchini, yellow squash, arugula pesto, roasted tomato, basil: Great! Delicious pasta ribbons and sweet vegetables lightly tossed in pesto sauce Steamed Wild Alaskan Halibut - snap peas, lotus root, chile-soy glaze, jasmine rice: Okay! I'm not sure why I chose steamed halibut, probably because I was bored of beef and chicken in that moment. The halibut itself was tender and the dish was generously loaded with rice and vegetables. It could have used more sauce to bump up the flavor. Pear Baked Alaska - pear sorbet, caramel sauce, poached pear: Great! If ever there was a baked Alaska that resembled an igloo, this would be it. The refreshing cold of the sorbet and sweet pear went down very easily. The prix fixe event ended with a plates of mini macarons, which were adorable. By then, our bellies were full, and some of us were getting sleepy from the surrounding heat and bottomless wine. I ordered a cappuccino and relished in the surroundings. read more

Quick spur of the moment trip to Las Vegas. Very fortunate to walk in and get a table without reservations. Great ambiance and great service. Convenient location as part of the Bellagio. Started with a delicious oyster appetizer with champagne. Did the prix fixe menu for dinner, which was a great value for fine dining in Vegas. Fantastic tomato salad as starter, followed by a perfectly prepared sweet corn pasta course that was to die for. My wife and I had main courses of branzio and Duroc pork respectively. Both were well prepared and delicious. Dessert was unfortunately disappointing. The peach cobbler had fruit that wasn't ripe and undercooked baked topping. We had to send it back and the servers were wonderful. They compensated by sending a lemon cake/custard concoction that had a stunning presentation but an after taste like Lemon Pledge. Overall though, fantastic meal and great wine list. Would recommend and will go back. read more

I rarely leave reviews, but our experience at Spago Las Vegas was so bad I feel compelled to warn others. For a restaurant with such a big reputation, the food and service were shockingly poor. We ordered the lobster pasta, which came drowning in tomatoes with tiny, flavorless bits of what we think was lobster. The ravioli dish had exactly 7 pieces--poorly plated, bland, and uninspired. Not what you'd expect from a place with this kind of price tag. Service was equally underwhelming. It took over 15 minutes just for someone to take our drink order. Our table was left cluttered with dirty dishes for more than 20 minutes. And to top it off, one of the servers elbowed me in the head. I let him know, and he just stared at me--no apology, nothing. Even the water tasted awful, though that might just be Vegas. Overall, the place had a "phoning it in" kind of vibe--uninterested staff, mediocre food, and zero attention to detail. Came last week with a few friends and had a fantastic time. Was early to our reservation but they had room at the bar for us to enjoy some drinks while we waited. Bartender was attentive and got our drinks to us quick. After enjoying our drinks we got to our table earlier than expected. The atmosphere and view was breathtaking. We got to sit with a perfect view of the water show. Everyone enjoyed their food! One of the few places you can go to eat something good; not just take a picture of something that only looks good. Service was great as well! Never ran out of beverages and was consistently checked on. Servers really make you feel connected with them. If you're in Las Vegas and want to have a fine dining experience I recommend coming to Spago and requesting one of the tables by the fountain. Stopped in for brunch. We were sat in the dining room but could still see the fountains going off. Such a beautiful view. Me & my BF shared the Chilled Maine Lobster & Gulf Shrimp and the Bacon & egg pizza. This was one of our splurge meals and it was worth it. The seafood was so fresh and the cocktail sauce & Aioli were the perfect dipping sauce. We could have ate 4 more plates literally. The pizza was amazing, and tasted like it was wood fired. The egg was not overly eggy, it was almost like a carbonara pizza. I will say it wasn't overly busy when we arrived but the service was a little slow. This was for my birthday brunch yesterday and the staff went above and beyond with celebrating me and helping my now boyfriend to feel loved and appreciated. The female manager where I didn't get her name and our waiter, Romero were absolutely incredible and were so amazing! The food and drinks with the wonderful view of the Bellagio Fountain were memorable. So thankful for the Spago staff just going out of their way to make my day feel so special! I will definitely be back to celebrate any special occasion. This type of restaurant is something you have to experience for yourself and the prices are expensive but worth for the service you'll be receiving! Our second time at Spago, but at the new location within Bellagio instead of the forum at Caesar. We originally had a reservation, but couldn't make it and instead came at a later time and was seated without one immediately. If you sit outside you can get a clear view of the fountains of Bellagio. There was a live DJ on the weekend that we ate here. Unfortunately our server forgot about us even though the place was about 50% full in the beginning, but eventually got our order, all in all slightly sub standard, but not horrible. The steak was good although quite hard to cut when on a crispy piece of bread. Actual taste was good, but I've had many steaks throughout Vegas to compare this meal to by this point in our trip and it was standard. Although the sauce was quite nice and with the greens on top...very vibrant. The ambiance is fit for the Bellagio...but the food and the service being worth the money? It's a toss up. read more

Went to Spago to celebrate my best friend's birthday. We had a reservation, and was seated promptly. I overheard the group in front of me, and they didn't have a reservation. The hostess said there were no cancellations, but they were able to be seated at the bar. So, if you want to eat here; really try for a reservation. Our waiter was Antonio, and he was great! My friend and I had a hard time choosing what to order, and He told us dishes he recommended and they were pretty good. We started with the Peach Passion Smash (A nonalcoholic drink) it was very refreshing. We ordered the artisanal breads and pastries as our appetizer. While the pastries were really good, I really wanted some bread, and we didn't get any. For our entrees we got Lobster 'Fra Diavolo' (SO GOOD) and the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. For dessert we got the Spiked Lemon and the Ricotta Doughnuts. I probably wouldn't get the doughnuts again, but the Spiked Lemon is so good! I wish I could go there just for that. It's delicious! They filled up her waters to her drink order then shortly after took our food order the food came out fast and the food was amazing. It looks so good. I ate every piece of food on my plate. I look forward to Spago's 'butternut squash agnolotti' every year as it's one of the best pasta dishes in Vegas. The filling is complementary and the pasta is delicate. These tables offered you a direct view of Bellagio's water light show which enhances your overall dining experience. It is highly suggested to arrive early as the line starts to form before 5 PM. Believe me it's worth the wait to secure a fountain view seating. I tried the Veal 'Wiener Schnitzel' which I was told was one of Wolfgang's most popular dishes. The portion was literally hanging off the plate. Also tried the roasted Jidori Chicken which was very moist and tender. Excellent presentation with all the trimmings. Great taste and yummy flavor. For dessert, I tried two desserts; Spiked Lemon and their Tiramisu. Both desserts were fabulous, but my favorite by far was the Spiked Lemon... a must try... Especially if you like lemons. Had a reservarion for our party of 8. When we arrived we were shown to our table. The restaurant is quite nice and has a nice view of the Bellagio water fountain which went off every half n hour. We ordered the bread plate, lamb chop, and truffle pasta. The picture is half of the lamb chop as I shared with another person and they split it for us. Food was really tasty, just smaller portions. Staff was nice, but they were very understaffed as it took over 30 minutes for our drinks and 1hr plus for food. When we were looking for a server, none seemed to come our way. The reason this review is 4 stars is because the food was very delicious. Service could improve. It's worth a visit if you're interested in trying some delicious food. Spago is always one of the top options for brunch; just dont try to go when you're severely hung over. Ambiance is great and you notice it immediately when you enter the restaurant. Hostess are always nice, making sure to seat you fairly quickly in accordance to your reservation. You are greeted with in an house DJ who plays pretty good music to set the vibe. Of course, you have the view of the beautiful Bellagio fountain, and all the decor for the inside is elegant and modern. The bar is extremely aesthetic, and if you're lucky enough to be seated outside on the patio, without it being a thousand degrees, you are in a treat for a perfect experience. The food is very much on par with the status. Wolfgang puck and its branding is synonymous to the quality of food they provide. I don't know what was going on with the hosts at Spago on 10/27, but they were utterly incompetent. We arrived for our 7pm reservation about 5 minutes early and checked in, only to be told to stand aside like we were an inconvenience. Not a word was mentioned about any delays. Fast forward 20 minutes, and we're still waiting while groups who arrived after us--yes, the same party size--were seated without any acknowledgement to my group. When I politely asked one of the hosts for an estimate on when we'd finally be seated, the response was that tables were turning over slowly. Meanwhile, I watched as two separate parties, both with later reservations, were seated ahead of us. After expressing my frustration to another host, who had the audacity to claim we were "next," they went on to seat yet another group before us. We were finally seated a staggering 30 minutes past our reservation time. I completely understand that delays happen, but the sheer lack of communication and organization from the hosts was infuriating. Watching those who arrived after us--same party size, mind you--be seated while we were left waiting was unacceptable. A restaurant of Spago's caliber should have much better customer service and hosts who actually know how to manage reservations. On a positive note, once we were finally inside, the meal was excellent and the service in the dining room was wonderful, as were the views of the Bellagio fountain. However, the front of house needs a serious overhaul. They should hire people who can actually handle hosting and seating tables effectively, rather than letting the chaos continue. This experience left a bitter taste that even a great meal couldn't wash away. read more
