This place is conveniently located close to where I live which is why I gave them several chances. The nail techs try to aggressively oversell even though I got appointments for specific services and declined upselling politely. I do NOT like gel nails for health purposes and don't want UV light on my skin every month. But no matter what, the pedicurist wouldn't listen and after multiple firm no's they backed out but wasn't friendly anymore. The pedicures also were never relaxing despite upgrading to one of the fancier pedis. The service was performed very quickly without taking the time to let me relax. The polish is supposed to last at less two weeks but barely lasts a week. After giving them multiple chances, I'm tired of dealing with these antics and will splurge elsewhere read more

I really wanted this to be my new spot, I really did. It was easy to schedule an appointment, once they got my number - I did get quite a few text messages. Showed up for an appointment. Had to wait 20 minutes, which was fine. They have a very large selection of nail polish colors. I scheduled for a full set and a pedicure. Pedicures are much higher than average for the area. The least expensive is around $36 and it's considered an "express" service. No cut down, roughly one minute of massage. Mostly taking polish off, which they charged me to take off gel even though I spent an extra $20 to put on gel. (I was never told, I found out at register). I was told I would get 10% off for being a first time customer. I wasn't told until the register that it is for ONE service. While I was getting my quick pedicure, I asked how much would it cost to do my nails EXACTLY like the person next to me. I was told $65-70 dollars. I repeated it back, she confirmed. I get to the register and the $65-70 turned into $85. I did not make any changes to what I asked for. I asked why the price changed and she breaks it down. I told her I asked her clearly how much it would be and she just kept repeating the new price. If I was told $85 and agreed to that price, I would have been happy. Baiting me into a service with the wrong cost and then forcing me to pay more once it is complete is unethical. I will not return since they change the prices as you go along read more

They used to be great but last few times the technician (no name with glasses) used a drill on my natural nail thinking it was a tip and damaged my nail bed months ago . I try again and again at this location and unfortunately I got her again. I wanted regular manicure with my polish . She pretended she could not open the bottle after she opened it 3 minutes before and did an awful job because she wanted me to do gel . She was awful . She was rude ! read more

I go to this place sometimes because it's close by. They do a good job, and many of the techs are great, but as other reviewers have said, there are technicians don't always listen to your request for what you want even when you ask over and over. They also always ask me other services I want like a pedicure or a wax even when I say I don't want anything else they keep asking, one time the tech even grabbed my hand and said I needed a manicure which I did but it was really uncomfortable and embarrassing. It's just not in my budget to do every service I could potentially need that day, and it makes me feel like they just want my money versus trying to provide good service to me as a customer. read more

1) I was waiting for my 10am appointment when the tech waltzed over at 10 to open the doors, completely unaware I had an appointment. She then took her time setting up etc, had no idea what I was there for, was unprepared. 2) I requested to have my mani & pedi done at the same time because I wanted to be out at 11, hence my early appointment. My tech did everything solo and wasn't done until almost 12. She didn't even time things so that, for example, my mani was soaking off while she did the pedicure. Absolutely wasted my time. 3) Poor callus removal, she scrubbed my left heel until it was bleeding and painful and kept insisting it was normal and to just slap some lotion on it. Very selective conversations, and pretended to not understand me half of the time when I asked questions and pointed out my bleeding skin. 4) My tech quite literally was fighting me to not remove my acrylic nails. She was harassing me that she'll do the acrylics very prettily just for me, and when I insisted that I was there for a removal, she just kept huffing and talking back in Vietnamese. It got to a point where another tech had to step in and tell her that the customer wants a removal, do the acrylic removal. 5) While waiting for the gel to soak off, this lady started filing down her own acrylic nails and gave herself a manicure. Which lead to her nails being sharp while she was handling my hands and it HURT. It was bizarre and ridiculous. 6) oh yeah and the manicure came out pretty crappily. Didn't even last a week. But if you look at the photo I took the day of, it was streaky and just a bad job overall. The standards of this place is too low I would not recommend coming to this location. Got a mint pedicure and gel manicure The mint pedicure was mediocre ; had to pay extra for the callus removal because the word optional is listed after it, so I assumed it was Included ! It did not seem any different than a regular pedicure but was more money. The gel manicure was fine, nothing special. However it's been 1 week and all my nails broke or chipped, when the tech applied the matte coat my nails burned in the UV light. One of my cuticles is really hurting . To top it off I paid 85$ despite the menu saying the combo price was 75$ for the Mint pedicure + gel manicure! I paid 8$ for dip removal while the person I was with was charged 5$! I came in for a refill for my daughter's acrylic nails. While we were there, I looked over and noticed they had started removing her 3-week-old acrylic set--without asking us. When I questioned it, they said the nails were "unhealthy." We were then charged $10 for the removal, which we never requested. Instead of the refill, they gave her a gel manicure with a French design (an additional $10), and added dots to some of the nails (another $15). In the end, I was charged $95 for a service we didn't want in the first place. To make matters worse, my daughter had three different technicians during her appointment. When I asked about the pricing, no one gave me a clear answer. I also had a 15% discount for booking online, but they only applied $15 off. I wasn't the only one frustrated--while I was there, another woman asked for a gel builder manicure but received regular gel instead. When she asked for it to be fixed, they told her to come back in two weeks! Lastly, several of the technicians were FaceTiming friends during services, which made the environment feel unprofessional and far from relaxing. I paid over $200 and expected a better experience. Very disappointed with this place!!!!! First they said it's 20% off because of their grand opening and later changed it and said 20% off for manicure OR pedicure. The signed said 20%. It didn't mark exclusions. Another thing, they charged me $3.00 removal fee. I never had a salon charge removal fee if you don't get gel nails. They trick you with their fees. Liars. Second, I got gel nails done and one hand is matted and the other hand is shiny. WTF!!! . I didn't noticed because they put oil on my nails. Now I have to drive back and have them fix my nails. The mani and pedi were great - among the best I have had in the area. The atmosphere comfortable - nice jazz music and NO TVs (THANK YOU!). My issue was with what I was charged. I had went in a week after they opened. There was a big sign saying 20% off as an opening special. I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure - package price was listed as $75. I asked the young woman who came to the desk to help me, if the discount applied to the package, she said yes. At check out, I was shocked to be charged $89!!! I was told that removing the calluses from me feet was extra (that has always been part of a pedicure in my experience) and that the discount didn't apply to the package, despite what I was told. So they had split the services, charging me seperately for the manicure and pedicure to give the discount - but was only for one service! After some discussion (I stayed calm, just kept referring to their sign which didn't have any "fine print"), the price was reduced to $76, still $16 more than expected to pay, given their "opening special" banner over the front door and what the woman told me (she apologized, said she didn't know). I never, ever, write reviews - but this issue was badly handled. I was understanding about the young woman giving me the incorrect information, they had just opened and I assumed she was new. The person who appeared to be in charge, just said the system wouldn't let her do anything else. I don't believe that. I wold love to go back, but not if I'm going to be surprised with a higher bill each time. I see another review about the same issue. read more
