I have been coming to Sparkle Nails for over six years now. Jenny and Amy are my go to's and they are EXCELLENT. I always go with my friends or family and Jenny remembers everyone and kindly asks about them after every visit. Making an appointment is nice and easy over the phone. The place is nice and clean, and I love their massage chairs. They have a good selection of nail polish colors. I usually get a spa deluxe: soak, cuticle care,,nail trimming, filing, polish, moisture mask, and hot stone foot/leg massage to relax for my pamper days. I get super relaxed while my circulation is improved. They even use warm towels after your treatment. They do have different selections for which mani/pedi you want, so there is something for every budget. You get your $$$ worth. Very family friendly - I take my grandma here sometimes and she is Diabetic. Amy always does her nails and is always gentle. She also has bad asthma especially from the smell the ladies always offer her water and make sure she is taken care of. My niece also loves the buttery fly chair that they have. They truly gave her princess treatment. I also get my eyebrows done by Jenny. I have very thin, sparse eyebrows but Jenny always knows how to shape my eyebrows right. I've now been here 3 times, all for acrylic manicures and every time I've been satisfied! All of the ladies are super friendly and make conversation with you, which feels welcoming. They also make sure you get what you want. The manicurists are super precise and particular and make little mistakes. The shaping and thinness of the acrylics are very natural and feminine. Really bad service very partial to non Asians, choose regular mani pedi combo they were very unprofessional missed steps. When I reminded them they were missing steps while massaging taking out dirt from nails, the lady was arguing with me. She wanted to take money from me before even providing the service. The day I went in, it was kind of packed, but I was seated for a pedicure about ten minutes later. The chick that helped me out took her time and she did an amazing job! She suggested I do the callus removal for only $5 more and it was worth it! I was then switched over to the manicure tables. My gel manicure was okay... The lady that helped me was fast, but she seemed to have her thoughts somewhere else. I had asked her to shape my nails into more of a round/oval shape, but she did do so. I had to run other errands so I just wanted to leave. Once I got home and examined my nails, I saw some faults. Some of my nails seemed to be thick with too much polish and some with not so much. Also at the base of my nails at the cuticle, the nail polish is lifted on half of my nails. It has now been four days since my visit and it's already chipping! read more

Clean--Some places you sacrifice cleanliness for price, but this place is very clean. OPI Colors (Plus Plus Plus)--She is phasing out the old boring off brand colors and will replace with OPI colors. Day 3 and my nails are chipped and cracked!! I was disappointed in my shellac mani and pedi. I'm new to the area and looked to yelp to help me find a place. I looked up sparkle nails and figured I'd give them a try. The people are friendly, but they don't offer high quality work. They don't clean your cuticles on your fingers or your toes. The day after, both my feet and hands looked like I needed to go to the nail shop. It's upsetting to spend $50 and get $10 service. Day 3, I NEED to get them redone. Another $60 (tip added) down the drain. My shellac French tip: Shaped nicely, but the paint is all over the place. I'll share a pic.. My cuticles are dry and need to be trimmed. My nails are terribly chipped and cracked. And if I was supposed to get a message with my shellac mani, I missed it.. As for my pedicure: She rushed, didn't scrub the bottom of my feet, didnt clean my cuticles and the massage was about a minute long. I asked for a simple design. The tech tried an failed.. First time here today. I called in saturday at 4pm to ask about price for shellac ($22) and schedule an appointment for the next day at 12. They had an opening available so they put me down for sunday at 12. I got there today at 11:50ish and it wasnt busy at all. I sat down with one of the girl workers who took off my previous gel polish and buffed my nails etc. Once she was done, she left and some other guy (Ken) did my polish (i thought it was strange how they switched since she just left to do nothing but whatever, he was great). I decided to go with the mood changing shellac polish which brought my total to $26 because apparently its $4 more for shellac that changes color.. I have been getting my nails done at Sparkle since 2011. What took me so long to write a review?! Right when you walk in the door, you are greeted and helped. If you're a walk-in and they are busy, they assure you you will be helped soon. If you make an appointment, they definitely take care of you right away. All the ladies are great and seem to work well together, always helping each other out. The place is clean and tidy. The selection of colors may be considered limited to some customers, but I've never had a problem with choosing from their collection. Their pricing compared to most nail shops around is inexpensive, but the quality sure doesn't match price. I get my usual shellac manicure for $22, and pedicure for $17. The most important factor to me is they work so quickly, I am in and out in less than an hour. That is invaluable to someone whose schedule is so packed! read more

$31 for a mani-pedi + mani with 2 designs. I thought this was pretty good, considering that they took me last minute before the holiday! They were the only nail shop willing to take me in. The girls were really sweet and they were willing to draw whatever designs. They accommodated me crazy requests of bright colors and designs. I like it when they allow me to express my creativity. I love the non boring nails. I've never been here before so I can't yet comment on the quality and hold up of my manicure. I am afraid it may peel off soon because of the number of coats they put on. It's definitely a lot more than I'm used to. So far, a few have bubbled up. It hasn't peeled off or chipped quite yet. I went to a water park and went down some slides and they're still ok. I got the regular mani pedi. What I don't like is when they try to up sell me on longer foot massages and extra designs... Other than that, I would come here if in the area. So to start, I've been coming to Sparkle Nails for the past 3+ years and have finally decided to write a review. One of the reasons I have been a loyal customer is because of the friendly service, especially when you become a regular. You will be remembered (by name) and you will be taken care of. However, if you are in fact a newbie, expect to be helped and tended to regardless of how busy the girls may be, unlike some shops that sometimes straight up ignore you in hopes that you leave. Although, if it is a peak time and they're all busy and you end up waiting a long time, don't waste your time whining and bashing the shop for bad service. Either 1) make an appointment 2) call ahead or 3) simply leave. Although they have an open walk in policy, we all know when a shop gets busy, they're busy and there's nothing else you or they could do. But as far as I know, every time I've made an appointment and came ON TIME, I've been taken care of kindly and quickly. Now I'm aware that the shop is under new ownership which to me was kind of a bummer. However, some of the originals are still there: Amy, Holly and one other younger girl with glass (forgot her name, but super sweet and a hard worker). Holly is great at brows. She even fills mine in just to be nice. And Amy does great work on tips, shellac and fills. Tip: request for Amy and make an appointment. She does take a long time occasionally, but her work lasts a long time. My fills last me 3+ weeks. All in all, the kindness and effort of the girls is what brings me back. You're not gonna always get perfect nails and mistakes do happen. These ladies are human. So don't cry if your nail chips. You want it fixed? Then simply go back and I'm confident that the girls would be more than happy and willing to fix and correct their OCCASIONAL mistakes. read more

My cousin and I came in around 615pm with no appointment and they told us it would just be about 15-20 minutes to wait so we did. After everyone else left, it was just me and my cousin there and they close at 7pm but we were there until 8 and what would have been 4 stars has been bumped up to 5 because even though it was an hour past closing time, they had no complaints and did not rush to finish their jobs. Tammy did mine and she did great and I enjoyed the little hand/feet massages she gave me. I just felt bad because she's so soft-spoken that every time she said something to me I would have to say "Huh?" or "What?" so she could repeat it! Kim did my cousins nails and my cousin was very happy, too. Pedi/mani is $25 and an extra $3 for french tip, which was what i got. They also give you a stamp card so if you get 10 pedi's or mani's you get a free one. :) My nails are just lovely now and i'm ready for vegas! woohoo! read more

I liked this place. I am weary about nail salons, as some of them arent as clean, or use cleaning supplies in between appointments. I saw their tech specifically spray bleach and soap, scrub it down with her hands, and rinse. I love going here, knowing they do that for me. My nail tech was not super talkative, but she was VERY through. As a matter of fact, I was running late for church, and I kind of rushed her. At first I was a bit skeptical about this place after reading the reviews but I tried it out anyways and I'm so glad I did! It wasn't crowded when I walked in so I got helped fairly quickly. Jenny did my nails and asked me a few questions before she did anything like if I had sensitive cuticles which I really appreciate! I do have sensitive cuticles and she was very careful when working with my nails so that's a big plus. I got gel French nails done for the first time and it looked beautiful. She was very meticulous when doing it and it definitely turned out great. Surprised me how long they lasted. Didn't chip or anything until 2 and a half weeks later. I had some qualms about this salon initially. After having called three times to check if there was a wait or to see if the services I was interested in were available, still, no answer. Because I was close by, I figured I'd drive there to scope out the scene myself. I arrived an hour before closing. There were quite a few ladies being serviced & two more waiting. I inquired about a shellac manicure and was told because of the time it may not be possible to have a shellac manicure, but rather a regular manicure. The news displeased me and I expressed that I only wanted shellac and had called three times before coming to check on times. I was told I might have to wait for a bit, but they would do their best to accommodate me. I am very glad that I stuck it out. One technician started my manicure while the tech that would apply the shellac finished up with her client. The tech that was working on me suggested a pedicure while we waited for the shellac tech. I obliged and found a very beautiful color. The tech that did the shellac for me was a bit of a perfectionist and I'm very thankful for that. After everything was said and done, both ladies took their time and stayed 40 minutes after closing to finish my services. I am posting a picture of my shellac manicure, but I don't even think the picture does them justice- my nails came out absolutely gorgeous. I really wanted to like this place as it's so close to my house. I walked in with an appointment and was seated fairly quickly. With the COVID pandemic, I did feel pretty uncomfortable with the spa chairs being side by side. I get that some people don't like to be spoken to when getting their manicure & pedicure but the ONLY thing that was said to me was "what color?" That's it. Just 2 words in the 65 min that I was there. She didn't ask if I wanted my nails filed down or cut...both my manicure and pedicure were cut way shorter than I wanted and in a shape I didn't approve of. THEN... I guess the color I chose was running low, one of the girls just took the acetone and added it to the bottle, shook it up and proceeded to paint my toes. Ok I get it, tricks of the trade to make your money last. But that seriously explains why my GEL nail polish chipped after only FIVE days. The lady on the phone told me it was $25 for each one of the adults a and $20, for my 9 year old. As they were in the middle of our manicure (pedicure was done) I asked how much the total was. The lady then told me, $35, $35 and $30. I said I was quoted different on the phone. They just ignored me and kept working, which was super rude! My little one wasn't even getting his nails painted and they did a little ghost on the thumbs. They said no extra charge. So I paid and got out of there. It wasn't the cost that bothered me so much, I would of still had gone , but it was I called ahead of time for the price and then they ignored me. Eh, so so place. 3 stars as they were able to take on 4 different people right as we walked in on a Saturday afternoon. My mom got a pedi, my two nieces & I wanted manicures. They wanted gel, however I wanted the basic-nothing special kind. My lady kept being pushy for me to upgrade which was kind of annoying. We get started, my nails literally sit in the bowl of water for 30 seconds then she starts on my cuticles. Definitely did a great job there but she slid the cutter across the top of my nail bed causing me to feel it. I didn't bleed tho! She finishes, then shapes & files my nails. Told her round, that's what she gave me. We're about 5-7 minutes in now. She applies the cuticle oil then whips out the lotion. I KID YOU NOT FOR BOTH HANDS THE "MASSAGE" LASTED 10.2 SECONDS TOTAL. She applied the lotion, rubbed it around the back of my hands, then gets up to get a warm towel. I thought she ran out of lotion but nope! She wanted to be done with me. Wipes it thoroughly tho & sprays some alcohol across my nails Get to painting & she does a decent job. No bubbles, no choppy ends. Overall no issues if you look at them from afar. Now we're about 10-12 minutes in. I'm sitting there letting my nails dry like forget it, might as well get up & leave!
