Initially I came here to inquire about their Invisalign. But before getting to that step, I had to get a few things done with my teeth. I had to get a deep clean, filling & etc. Amanda was my hygienist and she made the whole process super gentle. growing up, I was also afraid of the dentist because I can remember the pain that I went through was I was little. Amanda was very thorough with explaining each step that she was working on. My deep clean was broken up into 2 separate appointment. My 1st initial appointment coming in, I was extremely nervous. But by the time I left, I was excited for my next appointment. For deep cleaning, Amanda had to go under my gum and take out all of the build up that has been there for many years. Because the severity of it, they had to break up my appointment into 2 and work on by sections. Before working on my teeth, they had to take x-ray to see what's needed to be work on. It turns out that I had quite a few filling that's needed to be done & 1 root canal. After my 2 deep clean appointment, I had to come back for my root canal. Dr. Shafiei worked on my root canal and I have to say, she made the whole process super pleasant and I didn't feel any pain at all. I am so glad that I decided to come here for all of my dental care. read more

I have been coming here for a couple of years now and will continue to make the trek down to Irvine to Spectrum Dentistry and Dr. Shafiei. This visit was a big one. Started two teeth implants. Nerves were high, but Dr. Shafiei was comforting and I could tell she was ready for the procedure. I had a unique visit and opportunity on this visit to have another dentist observing the procedure so, as a naturally curious person, I got to hear the details on what Dr. was doing. The small details of how she aligned things, to how an incision done one way provides better and faster healing... The care and precision she has with her patients is lightyears beyond any dentist I have had previously, and will take a ton for someone to measure up to in the future. Five stars does not seem like enough. I'm not someone who goes to the dentist easily although on a Sunday night half of my tooth disappeared. My husband being brilliant immediately looked for a new dentist for me as my pre Covid dentist just heightened my anxiety. In calling their office early Monday morning they immediately agreed to see me, and I'm pretty sure they skipped lunch when they heard the fear in my voice. They were calm, compassionate and totally understood my previous dental issues. They stopped if I felt pain, added freezing when necessary and calmly talked me through my options, even working with my insurance to minimize the injury to my wallet. I have since dragged my whole family there and for the first time in a long time am not at all worried about our dental health. If you need a dentist pick this one. Really. read more

Kind staff, modern equipment and consistently great results.

Just finished my root canal. Dr. Sanam Shakibi is hands down the best dentist I've ever had. Very professional and walked me through the whole procedure while it was going on. She was very gentle with my teeth and always checked if I was in any kind of pain. We decided to break up the session into a few smaller sessions because normally a root canal takes 5+ hours. They were very accommodating. The crown is actually made in a lab so it took a bit of time for it to come in and be ready. The whole staff is very nice, including Lili the receptionist. Very comfortable the whole time and they accept Delta Dental insurance. Prices were very fair and service was top notch. Place was super clean and the dentist wears a face shield and mask. read more
