Horrible customer service. Switched to another ISP after dealing with spectrum over the phone, but had to go in to the store to return equipment. First of all, having to wait 90 minutes just to return equipment is ridiculous. The whole time I was there, two associates were helping two separate families with setting up mobile services. 90 minutes and they were STILL setting up their devices? That convinced me that I NEVER want to get mobile services through them because how does it take that long? Finally get called up, employee scanned my devices which took about 30 seconds so at least that was fast. But the employee did not want to print a receipt that I returned equipment. He kept joking and being sarcastic, like "oh, you won't tell me which service provider you switched to, but you want me to print you a receipt? Why should I help you when you won't tell me that?" Finally printed the receipt after a few minutes of nonsense, but just a perfect example of why I will never be using spectrum again - however they are training their customer service representatives (both in store and on the phone) needs to be seriously examined, because it is some of the worst customer service I've experienced. read more

I'm so sick and tired of seeing the commercials on TV of spectrum boasting about themselves about how great they are. I'm constantly having outages, mostly with the Wi-Fi service. I would never get their mobile phone because I've had so much trouble with the streaming service and the WiFi. You would think they would have these outage problems fixed by now. Let me review my experience with Spectrum before I get to my visit to this location. Internet speed is one-third what I am paying for. Internet outages are frequent. Now for my visit to this location. The place was grossly understaffed which resulted in obscenely long wait times. The "customer service" rep. needs a dictionary so that he could learn what the words customer service mean. He refused to help me because my Florida issued photo ID was not good enough to identify me to his satisfaction, yet it is satisfactory for me to vote. He blamed me for the obscene wait times. He insulted me because I only speak English and I do not know Spanish. If this company goes out of business, it will be a public service. read more

The staff could care less if they are helpful - rude, aloof, distracted, uncaring. They acted like it was a bother to assist any of the customers. The lady was more concerned with her ponytail and how her beverage was placed next to her work station than actually doing her job. This interaction with Spectrum makes me very glad I am moving outside of their service area. read more

MY OPINION - absolutely GARBAGE On 8/8/25 at 12:00 am, electricity went out for approximately 4 seconds due to Rainy weather. Ever since THAT, I have been WITHOUT Wifi - Television & ANY ability to have a functional Modem. After multiple "resets", even with a Spectrum Technician on call with me. NO FUNCTIONALITY. I have internet and land line promotion is expired in May 2025. By Feb 2025 I spoke with a spectrum agent to get a new promotion including internet and land line but put on cell phone that is a new way "land line on cell phone" for $35.00 a month new promotion . I accepted and purchase a new cell phone from Spectrum. And immediately my internet bill went down to 35.00 that was 29.99 for the internet and 4.72 for land line to put on cell phone, that is what they called. After 3 months , in May internet goes up to 44.99 and cell phone still 4.72 , total is 49.71 I asked why , they denied the promotion and explain bologni and by next year it will go up to 59.99 I cannot cancel the plant because it tie up with the cell phone, I have to pay the phone if I cancel. They misleading the promotion, it is a trick , they pull my leg. That is Spectrum cheating to customer. read more

I'll just say everything all other comments have said are true. I've had an even worse experience not worth totally rehashing but valid points include customer service! It's a nightmare to receive accurate information. It took two weeks to port my phone number over causing my previous carrier to disconnect my line even though my current billing was valid. I arrived to cancel an account and return equipment and I was immediately told by the manager that I cannot return equipment at the store that only at UPS. I called spectrum customer service and they were shocked and very apologetic. They could not understand why this store would not take care of me. I just switched my phone from Verizon to Spectrum but the switchover did not take (I learned I had to delete the old esim). Two online chat techs tried to help me troubleshoot the issue but couldn't help me. I went to this location in desperation, and Alex was able to fix my phone in about a minute and a half. Where to begin. First, they discontinued security service after 7 years with them. They did offer a 15% discount to get a new Ring System. Sorry, I have all Nest equipment. Now, I order a 1 GB line that should push 940 Mbs. Well, the most I've ever gotten from it is 660 MBs. 3am, 660 Mbs. Called and had tech come out to basically tell me I'm ridiculous for expecting the speeds they advertise. Yes, shame on me. Can't wait for Verizon to pick up my neighborhood. I was sweet talked into getting an Apple TV box, by a salesperson on the phone, I was skeptical, but I decided to listen and it sounded so convincing, how can't I ? They will give me a free Apple TV box, and my services would dropped from $99.99to $89 I was also getting more channels for free in addition to my internet, I had one month to try and if I found out that wasn't for me, take it to a UPS store and return the box, the only catch was for me not to open the wrap of the Apple box, I said how am I supposed to try it, called the 800 number and they said as long as you return in good conditions and every piece it should be ok, to starters * when I opened the box, the seal was already broken it wasn't completely open, but I'm guessing whoever packed it, accidentally cut some of the wrapper. By now I'm uneasy about the situation, call customer service, and told them I wanted to return it , go to any UPS and they will package and send back, when they received it, they said my package was being returned back, because the plastic was ripped called again and I told them that it should be some comments that I called about it, I had the name, the time, and what the person told me. I found out that the call could have been answered from the west and north coast even India, they even send me another box, that they didn't even know, I send it right back, just being honest! After many calls, speaking to everyone up the ladder, I was told I was stuck with it, he also implied ( the top honcho ) that I could sell it and make the money back, this is the main man, and he is telling me if you don't want it "sell it" all I wanted was a discount on the internet service, and I got stuck with $189 Apple TV monitor. You can tell how ticked off I'm by writing this long letter, I paid it cause I need my internet since I work from home, I'm also in the process to buy a house, even if a dispute with the credit bureaus, it would affect my scores, so I paid it for the Apple TV monitor, " by the way you can get it at about $100 in Best Buy" but This is the only company that I can deal with, according to the apartment complex, I have been stuck with this company for 4 years, I will never ever, ever, ever... pick up a call from spectrum again, and when I moved I'm going to make sure I got other options, the will have another unhappy customer lost! read more

Worst customer service ever. We got here when the store opened at noon. All we want to do is trade the brand new cable box that doesn't work (second in a year) and in one hour they have waited on 2 customers. No sense of urgency. No caring that the line is very long. Dont know what I'm paying for because my internet service is always spotty or out completely. They send someone to fix it and problem persists or usually gets worse. Would never recommend this internet provider to anyone. Unless your ok with a crap customer service and a bunch incompetent people that cannot figure out how fix a problem that has continued for 10 years( not exaggerating). My internet will go out multiple times a week during the day and night.
