We ordered from here tonight for the first time on our way home from downtown. We ordered combo pad Thai no beef with fried rice, Thai peanut chicken with brown rice, sesame chicken, and cheese wontons. The cheese wontons were dry, over cooked, and had a stale flavor. The pad Thai did not taste like any pad Thai we've ever had - an indescribable bad taste. The fried rice was mushy and tasted like someone just poured old oil over rice cooked with too much water. The peanut chicken was okay-tasting, but it was more breading than chicken and I questioned if it was fully cooked (hard to tell). The sesame chicken was the best thing that we received, but was underwhelming and a bit too sweet. I ate a couple wontons and a couple bites of my peanut chicken, but regretted it. We ended up tossing everything but the rice and sesame chicken, which was the only food we decided was edible enough. We chose this place because of it was on the way home, we wanted Thai, and it had many Yelp reviews with an overall four-star rating. Don't be fooled like us. read more

Loved the shrimp dish. Very friendly service. Prices are quite reasonable, but the food consistently good. I wasn't impressed with the Pad Thai however. We ordered drunken noodles with beef, and the tropical fried rice (aka pineapple fried rice in most other restaurants). Both dishes were very good. The meats were tender and flavorful, which isn't always the case in Asian type restaurants. The drunken noodles were a little sweeter than I prefer, but it was still very good. The tropical fried rice was the winner between the two, though. I will definitely be back to re-order this-- it was delicately flavored, and just scrumptious. They didn't skimp on any of the fruits, nuts, etc that come in the dish. A little drizzle of soy sauce gave it just enough salt to make it really magical. The default heat level of dishes here seems to be somewhere around a 2 out of 5; just enough for a little kick without burning your lips or mouth off. read more

Me and the ol' partner have been here a couple times now (and have done take-out once), so I feel I can write an honest review of the place. I've tried various other Chinese/Pan-Asian places in the South Broadway area and this place is the best. Service is fast and friendly; happy hour deals are superb; space is nicely decorated and impeccably clean; food is quick, hot, and tasty. What more can you ask for from a Thai/Pan-Asian spot? To be fair, too, we have tried quite a bit on the menu. Hands down, the best thing we've had is the Thai BBQ chicken. This ain't yo' mama's que! In fact, there's nothing really barbeque-y about it at all. It's basically a whole half fried chicken, chopped indiscriminately into manageable pieces, and covered in a wonderfully tasty peanut curry sauce. If it sounds weird, that's because it is. Weirdly delicious. We've also had the pad thai (average), drunken noodle (great), the pad selew (good), and the sesame chicken (awesome) as well as some of the appetizers. All good (except the pad thai which was pretty average. But I lived in NZ for a year and worked slingin' pad thai for cash and when you've had pad thai made by Thai guys who don't speak a lick of English and just moved from Udon Thani, pad thai is ruined for you for the rest of your life because the stuff they make is just... that... good). Pro tip: I usually steer clear of the soups or curries with chicken. The chicken in these dishes is lower quality and just... weird? It's almost the consistency of fish--flaky and soft. Regardless, as long as we steer clear of fish-chicken, I think it's fair to say we've found our "spot" for when we're hankerin' for great Asian food, fast service, and huge portion sizes. read more

We ordered this for pick up the other night when we were feeling lazy. I ordered through Yelp and our order was ready very quickly! We ordered the coconut shrimp, very spicy red curry and the pad selew. The coconut shrimp were really good, the red curry wasn't as spicy as we wanted it to be considering we picked the spiciest option but I was personally disappointed in the pad selew. It has always been my favorite thai dish so I thought I would try it from this place! It was fine, but it didn't have an option for the level of spiciness like other place I have tried... So it was very sweet and a little dry to be honest. I wish it had more sauce and broccoli. I also wish it had carrots. All of the other pad selews I have had have had carrots. It was fine, I just wish it was better! I did appreciate how quickly we could pick up our food though! read more

The food and service here is good. I'm always surprised the dinning room is not busier here. The portions are big and they also usually have 2 for 1 beers for $5 (on ANY beer including IPAs, etc.). The dinning room and bathrooms are also very clean. I'm not really sure what they could improve here, other than I would like to be dinning in a busier dinning room. Just ordered delivery from here for the first time. I had the sesame tofu, which is one of my go-to dishes at Chinese restaurants. This was easily one of the best I've had. Tofu was the perfect texture, fried to be just a bit crispy on the outside. Sauce was good too, nicely spiced.
