What gave me a bad impression immediately was the sticky floor in front of the counters. It gives an unclean impression. To the right of the counter, against the wall, was a machine that looked like it had a large piece of meat hanging in it. Maybe they strip pieces off as needed - I am not sure, but from a customer-facing position, it looks rather odd and unappealing. Our table was extremely wobbly. The food was just OK. We laughed at the "meat locker" and discussed the establishment overall. We agreed that we were glad to have tried it, but will not be back.

One poached egg was perfect, but the other came out over medium. That's something a trained chef normally wouldn't send out, and it made me feel like the kitchen might have a cook working the line rather than a chef overseeing the dishes. I do want to say the waitress was phenomenal. She was very attentive, friendly, and always made sure our coffee stayed fresh and hot. Her service was definitely the highlight of the visit. We will likely come back again because we know this restaurant can do better. Hopefully the kitchen can correct a few things and bring the consistency back.

I had the pleasure of dining at Spiros in St. Charles, and it was a great experience! Our server, Addison, was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. She always made sure we were taken care of throughout the dinner, anticipating our needs and providing exceptional service! The food quality at Spiros is great. The prime rib was cooked to perfection--juicy and full of flavor. The butter that accompanied the warm bread was so delicious. It added a lovely touch to the meal. And the baklava--wow! It's the best I've ever had, with a perfect balance of sweetness from the honey. I am obsessed. The hummus was also amazing. I enjoyed the flavor of the olive oil and garlic blend very much. My wife and I have been going to Spiros for 28 years. We have never had a bad meal and never had bad service. Acutually the food has always been excellent. We have used Spiros for private events as well, both personal and business. Our go to location is the St Charles Location although we have been to all their location over the years. You will always be treated well and once they know you will be treated like family. When someone ask me for a recommendation for a restaurant in the St Louis area Spiros is always at the top of our list. read more
