Just look at the marbling in the pictures. The meat at the store is some of the best quality I have seen and tasted. You can easily tell that George, the owner, has a passion for his business and his product reflects that. He was friendly and very informative. I will be back for sure!

Several people at our table asked questions about a pasta dish that included meatballs and sausage, and none of us could get a straight explanation from him. He kept going around in circles trying to describe the dish, repeatedly mentioning there was a $2 difference depending on how many meatballs or sausage you received, but no one at the table could understand what he was actually explaining. In the end, both my sister and cousin basically gave up and just said, "Okay, whatever we want one meatball and one sausage." We later realized the "sausage" was actually ground sausage in the sauce -- not a sausage link as we had understood. He also repeatedly tried to upsell us on additional menu items we had clearly shown no interest in ordering. Instead of listening to what we actually wanted, it felt like he was more focused on pushing extra items onto the table. To make matters worse, my sister and cousin ordered the exact same dish, yet my sister received three meatballs while my cousin only received one. There was no explanation for the inconsistency. The service throughout the evening was terrible. Our waiter rarely checked on our table and disappeared for long stretches of time. We actually had to stop another employee walking by just to get boxes for our leftovers and a dessert menu. Meanwhile, the table next to us had a waitress who was attentive and constantly checking on them, which made the difference in service even more noticeable. At one point, our waiter mentioned they had a lot of walk-ins that evening. However, we had made reservations in advance for a birthday celebration, so that should not have affected the level of service we received. Even getting the check at the end took an unnecessarily long time after we finally managed to get his attention. Overall, the entire experience was disappointing, disorganized, and frustrating -- especially for what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner.

All the portions of everything was perfect. * NOTE - They have a sign saying they are open until 2:30AM on weekends, but I came by at 2:AM and was told "PASTA ONLY, we're shutting down the sub line..." We don't come here for pasta. We come for sandwiches. If you can't serve one at 2:30AM, close earlier. What's the point? Who leaves a bar at 2:AM and thinks about a reheated slab of pasta? I can get that at home. Make me a cheeesesteak!! For my Italian and my Capo special, I asked for hot peppers and got an appropriate healthy portion. It had just enough onions on it for flavor but not so I tasted bites of onion. The fresh high quality cold cut meat flavors came through great. Both sandwiches were superb. I personally liked the Italian better, but if you're a true lover of Italian meats you have to get the Capo Special. The Cheesesteak is also legit. I had it once with Prov and once with American. Even though the provolone has a nice cheese pull, I do prefer American on a cheesesteak. I like my steaks with just cheese, onions and red hots. If you like it that way you have to order the standard steak and say "no peppers, add red-hots." By default they put peppers on it. There are several sandwiches I still want to try, in addition to some pasta dishes they have. However, I think my next sammy will be the Roast Pork or the Meatball sub. * The only downside is the price. A large sandwich on a seeded roll will cost you $18ish, plus tip, which is $21 for a sandwich. That is a lot. However, the small (half?) sandwich is $14.50 so you might as well get the large and take half home even if you are not finishing it. It'd be cool if they had a sandwich of the day on special, so you could get a large for $15 or something. But they do not. That said, maybe you get what you pay for with price because the sandwich is QUALITY and it is CONSISTENT. I have eaten there when the owner is present or late night when it's just younger staff working. Sandwiches have been the same both times. There is good training and appreciation for quality. I hope that stays. If the quality stays I'll keep coming back. They need to add some accessible napkins, water and bottles of hot sauce. A few misses that would make my visit more comfortable. They can also offer "For Here" or "To Go" options. They make everything to go which means they at least waste a bag each time I eat in house. If they're closed or crowded, don't overlook the OGs- The Big Cheese for another great Italian in town or Pip's for a cheesesteak. Not to take anything away from CAPO though! They have both sammies and you won't be disappointed. Just saw that they are now open until 2:30AM on Friday and Saturday! That is awesome. We now have TWO late night food stops in town; Capo and Secret Spot Pizza.

We were seated and could watch our food being prepared. It was brought to our table maybe 15 minutes later and it was delicious. The pizza is thin crust brick oven baked and the toppings and flavors taste so fresh and delicious. My only gripe is that it's a little expensive for our taste but it's still quite delicious. I'm not sure you can share one pizza with a friend without having something else too.

I Have been their multiple times now and still cannot understand how people would give this place a less than four star review. To start off the subs are amazing. The cheesesteaks are some of the best i have ever had. The meatball subs are very good, And the new chicken parm sub is also very very good. The bread they use for everything from croutons to there sub rolls is also very very good. Ther gnocci is fresh and is very good. All the other pastas are also very good too especially the new ones like the chicken parm with spaghetti and the spaghetti with clams and shrimp. Now lets talk about the pizza. The pizza is very good. By far the best pizza on the broadneck peninsula and definately better then georges. It is also cheaper then georges pizza. The sauce is great, the mozzarella is really fresh and the crust is perfect. For my favorite pizza the parma pizza they take a white pizza and after it is out of the oven they put on arugola, proscutto, and parmesan cheese on top. The proscutto is some of the best that i have ever had. They take a whole proscutto into the back to slice it up when you order your pizza. Thank you for reading my review. So glad to have another option for dining in our neighborhood. We have ordered take out from spizzicos on 3 different occasions and we have not been disappointed. The "works" pizza is very good. Toppings are plentiful. Crust was done just right. We also had the caprese salad, the mozzarella and basil were good, but the tomatoes could have been better, which is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. We also tried the veggie burger with eggplant and it was very good. We will definitely be back. read more

I gave this place another shot, and the pizza is night and day compared to when they just opened. We got a couple pizzas and they were truly fantastic. The prices are also very good. Try the Spizzico Fries, they are delicious. The white pizza was also very good, but it's pretty rich so if you order a whole pizza you might want to mix it in with some other ones. read more
