    Thai iced coffee
    Ed D.

Quaint little Thai restaurant but there's actually a decent amount of seating inside and the outside patio. Seems to be a family business so I'm glad I could support. The cashier/waitress had her cute daughter and grandma sitting while she worked. I got a Thai iced coffee which was good. For dinner, I got the chicken pad see eew which came out super fast within minutes but was so fresh and yummy. It was mixed with American and Chinese broccoli. It was a big portion so I really couldn't finish it. Prices were very reasonable. Great find for Thai food near my hotel.

Really wanted to try the Tom Yum Omurice but they were sold out. Still had a great meal! Fried chicken on fried rice, the chicken was moist with a crispy crust. Great flavors! Loved the Thai iced coffee

New management, same name. The new owner rushed back from Bangkok for the opening of the restaurant in mid-Sept. I have been back a couple of times and really enjoyed the food. There were some issues at soft opening but is to be expected. I haven't seen it yet but owner was planning on opening for breakfast soon, if not already. Tried the Pad See Ew, Pad Krapow, and a green curry. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I like that there is outdoor seating to enjoy the nice Peninsula weather. Hope this place sticks around because it's really good.

Came on a weekend for lunch right at opening. No wait. Plenty of parking in the lot. The owners are also from Thailand! They have a cute little patio space with heaters. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. We ordered the lunch special which is a decent deal where you get a small portion of an appetizer, noodles, and Thai tea. Definitely recommend it if you are getting Thai tea. Pad Thai 5/5 Super flavorful and delicious. Some of the best pad thai I've had in the peninsula! Pad see ew 4/5 Also delicious and decent wok flavor. But not the best I've ever had. Highly recommend this place for Thai on the peninsula. I'm definitely coming back for the pad thai!

Small, cozy place with nice fresh lighting and a really open layout. They have an open kitchen which is always cool you can watch them making your food right there. Came with a group of 10 and they were able to accommodate us no problem, which is always appreciated for larger parties. We ordered the creamy tom yum goong with Thai omelet, Thai grilled pork skewers, crispy golden fish, and pad kee mao. The food was decent overall. The standout for me was the tom yum flavor with the omelet that combination was very yummy and something a little different. The portions were solid for what you're paying, and everything came out fresh. For a spot that can handle a big group, serve up good Thai food, and keep the vibe relaxed and comfortable, the value is there. It's not trying to be fancy, just quality Thai dishes done well in a nice atmosphere. Would definitely come back, especially if I'm with a group and need a spot that can accommodate without sacrificing the quality of the food or experience

    Shrimp tom yung goong omurice

I came here on a weekday morning at 9am. I ordered the Tom yum goong omurice. I didn't know what omurice is so I was excited to try something new. It was your basic Thai flavors as the name suggests, not far off from a red curry, with rice, scrambled eggs, and some other things of which there could have been more. Nothing that knocked my socks off but I think they earn 5 stars by being an ethnic restaurant open for breakfast. Hard to get anything this flavorful before 11am, and I've always wanted to have these kind of options available at breakfast time, or maybe some other ethnic food I've never heard of.

This restaurant has has its own parking lot. They have indoor and outdoor dining. We walked up to the counter to place and pay for our order. We ordered the Thai Iced Tea, Chicken Pad Thai, Gai Yang, and Larb Pork Salad. Our food came out in a timely manner. The cashier brought the food to our table. The Thai Iced Tea had the perfect amount of sweetness to it. We can taste sweetness and sourness of the tamarind in the Pad Thai sauce. The dressing for the pork larb salad was very tart. They put too much lime juice. The chicken in the Gai Yang was tender, but there was nothing really special about it.

Spoon and Fork in Belmont is officially my new brunch obsession. This spot blends Thai flavors with classic brunch comfort, and every dish was a hit. Ordered the S&F Chickoissant (crispy chicken + buttery croissant = perfection), the Creamy Tom Yum Goong Omurice (silky omelet in a rich, tangy tom yum sauce -- SO good), the refreshing Avo Caprese, and the Thai Banoffee French Toast, which is basically dessert heaven. Plates come out beautifully presented, flavors are bold but balanced, and the space is bright, modern, and super photogenic. Service was warm and attentive, too. If you're looking for a unique breakfast/brunch in the Bay, this place deserves a spot on your list. I'll absolutely be back!

Lovely breakfast spot! The avo carese with mozzarella and cherry tomatoes was so fresh and delicious Monkey Morning pancakes topped with bananas and berries were perfectly Yummy. Sunrise Tom yum scramble Everything looked beautiful and tasted even better. The staffs are very nice and good service A refreshing, feel-good start to the day!

Pleasantly surprised by this place. My husband and I tried the basil beef and chicken pad Thai and both dishes were amazing, we'll be back to try more items next time we are in the area. The service here is also very friendly and the food was ready so quickly, but it was hot and fresh.

Special menu: We got the Stir fried crispy pork belly over rice which was a harmonious flavor. Rice was hard, though.
    Saemlinh I.

Pro: Food was great. But... Con: The rice had hard parts. We also did not get plasticware with our food, which our hotel was able to assist with. Special menu: We got the Stir fried crispy pork belly over rice which was a harmonious flavor. Rice was hard, though. Pad See Eiw with beef. And they have a lot of meat. 4 out of 5. They have lots of seating and the hostess was very nice.

The food was incredible. It looked good and the flavors were wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is a bit plane. Plenty of outside seating. Service was pleasant and friendly but soso.i would definitely eat here again.

Some personal thoughts: If you want something light, or try to order for the elders, wagyu aburasoba is a better choice, since the meat is more lean and yogurt sauce help balance the richness. Cheesy, tender, egg fried rice was flavorful. Portion kinda small, as the dish was very shallow. Not a lot of rice. Kinda off tho when it was the first dish that arrived to the table and it was lukewarm. I find a baked dish is typically always last since it needs time to bake, and is served scalding hot imo. That's when you know it's done right. This wasn't that. Suss The baked pork chop with cheese and tomato sauce was so disappointing and super greasy/heavy. The meat was chewy and had an unpleasant flavor. The tomato sauce was not good either. The shrimp wonton noodle soup I sadly cannot recommend, the filling was not good. Had more pork than shrimp consistency. I did not enjoy the flavor. Not aromatic. I will say, the noodles were great quality. Thin, bouncy, correct texture. What you would hope for. The soup was not good. The roast duck was good, with tender meat and fatty skin. Flavorful with the plum sauce. The fish congee was good, though a bit too runny imo once cooled down. The fried donut (you tiao) was crunchy and very doughy. Would be nice if they could slice it. I can agree with everyone about their thoughts on the 18% mandatory tip fee, it's crazy lol. Mandatory service fee for hk service (which is minimal service). It was so hard to flag down the waiter for refilling water, or to get more napkins. The place looks tiny on the outside but has a decent amount of seating. It's kind of your hole in the wall greasy spoon type of place but the people are nice and the portions are good! We had XLB, a sour pickled fish soup and a rice cake with pork and sour pickles. Okay, sour pickles sound gross but really, it's kinda sweet and the hubs loves it but never knows how to order it when we go out. XLB 5/5: Okay, this could be my go to XLB spot but it's not as close as I like. The dumplings were juicy and perfect pop in your mouth size. Can't beat the 7.95 price for 8! Fish soup with chopped pickled greens casserole 5/5: A large portion of soup and lots of pieces of fish. The tanginess of the pickled mustard is a surprisingly good kick. Nice and warm on a cold day. Rice noodles with pork and pickled greens 4/5: Not my favorite dish but done well with the rice noodles nice and chewy. Plenty of sliced pork and good amount of the picked greens. Overall a great hidden spot to get some good home cooking. The reason it's 4 stars is cuz of the greasy hole in the wall feel but hey, if it keeps the prices down then I'm fine with in. I plan to come back with the hubs to check out more of their menu!
