Seriously a hidden gem on Sawtelle. Toni and Kellen who work here are excellent at what they do. Iced Americanos here are outstanding. Don't sleep on the cake of course. Super nice to share.

Okay... this place has officially become a family favorite. I'd never had a crepe cake before, but we were walking by Lady M when a customer sitting outside told us their dessert was amazing, and we watched as she devoured it like a classy.... barbarian. That single conversation changed everything. Lady M makes mille crêpes, which I learned are basically layers and layers of ultra-thin crepes with pastry cream stacked into a cake. It's French pastry... perfected with Japanese precision. Light, refined, and not overly sweet. We tried the Original and the Tiramisu, and both were incredible. Soft, creamy, and meant to be enjoyed slowly- not rushed. I already have my eye on the pistachio one next. The café is small but bright and calm, with just a few tables inside. The staff is super friendly, and I met Gaby, who's been working here for over 10 years, which honestly says a lot about the place. It's pricey, with cake slices ranging from $11.50 to $16.50, but it's worth it. Pro tip: park in the garage under the building- they validate. We've already been back twice in one week. If you love desserts that feel elegant but comforting, Lady M is a must.

Signature Mille Crepe - It was just "okay"

My friend said we had to go to this amazing cake store after our dinner. He really helped up the place too. When we got there the staff ended up scolding him for waiting in the wrong line, which is kind of funny because my friend is such a geek and "rule follower". He never gets scolded and it left a bad impression on us, because we were dining in. The place itself is completely sterile like a doctors office. Super bright white LED lights and no character at all. The cake's look incredible like something you would see in the hunger games. I ordered the Signature Mille Crepe and was curious to try all the different layers. It was just "okay" to me. I felt like all the layers didn't really add anything to the cake itself. The cream was good, but all of the layers of crepe made it taste a little dry. I give this place a 2 star for the service and a 3 star for the food.

Lady M on Sawtelle is one of those places I keep coming back to. While their famous Mille Crêpe is great, my favorite is the strawberry shortcake. It's light, fluffy, and not too sweet--just the right mix of soft sponge, fresh cream, and juicy strawberries. One bite and I'm instantly happy. It's definitely a splurge, so more of a once-in-a-while treat, but totally worth it. I just wish they had more seating--there are times when it gets a bit busy, and it'd be nice to sit and enjoy the cake. The staff is always kind, and everything feels fresh and thoughtfully made. If you're in the area and craving something comforting and delicious, the strawberry shortcake is the move.

Me and my family genuinely had a 5 star experience here from beginning to end. The cake slices were *perfect*. They were light and packed with flavor without being too sweet or overpowering. They paired super well with the delicious coffee and I loved the extra attention to detail like bringing steamed milk along with my Americano instead of cold milk without me asking for it. That brings me to the staff... It is SO incredibly rare to be taken care of the way that we were when dining in. I'm deeply grateful to Gaby and the entire team there for taking such great care of me and my family and providing what genuinely felt like a luxury experience without any snobbery. Can't wait to come back here again soon!

The Baseline: For a desert shop the flavor of offerings must out-weigh the taste of pure sugar, there must be unique/rare offerings that drive me to go there, and the value of the desert must be balanced with the fact I probably just finished a meal. Food: This is an upscale cake/desert shop with a good selection of different cake slices. The variety is well displayed and I had the Passion Fruit Cheesecake which was very tasty. Looking forward to trying new offerings in future visits. Service: I had great service at Lady M. The server prepared my order and was good about giving me suggestions. Ambiance: The seating in the shop is very upscale and is enjoyable when you are looking for something less casual.

Came an hour before closing and they had run out of all mille crepe cake flavors except the Dubai chocolate. We opted to skip it. They refused to validate parking because we didn't make a purchase. Customer service was adequate but without any warmth or smiles whatsoever. Shop environment felt sterile and not very welcoming.

Nice dine in service! If you're dining in, they will hand you menus at the table and take your order. The cakes come on nice plates, so it's overall a more elevated experience than other dessert places on Sawtelle. I like how they have new flavors every now and then, but my favorite has always been the earl grey- creamy flavor that isn't too strong. Dog friendly dining as well- was able to bring my dog in! The had comfy booths to sit inside.

This review goes out to the amazing slice of pistachio Mille crepe cake! FIVE STARS. If you are a lover of pistachios and soft thin pillowy layers of crepes with subtle sweetness. THIS IS YOUR JAM. This was too good, ate the whole thing FAST. Sorry my picture does not do it justice! It's $11 a slice... treat yourself when you can.

Really nice spot for desert. There is a good selection of cake flavors, ranging from basic to unique (we took one of each kind). They were both great. The cakes were fluffy and flavorful while also not being overly sweet. The restaurants itself is really nice and well decorated. And the staff is kind and patient. Definitely worth checking out

A Taste of Elegance! Nestled in the heart of Sawtelle Street restaurants, this charming pastry boutique is a haven for those who appreciate the art of fine desserts. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by an atmosphere of simple elegance--marble countertops, delicate floral arrangements, and beautifully decorative cakes and slices. Every pastry here is a masterpiece, crafted with precision and presented like a work of art. Layers of crepe smothered with creamy fillings with various flavors. They have staple cakes and seasonal ones. Refined flavors like earl gray, yuzu, seasame and dark chocolate paired with a cup of their perfectly brewed coffee or a pot of fragrant tea, the experience was nothing short of divine. For anyone seeking a luxurious, indulgent treat, this pastry shop is it. Slightly pricy, this sweet tooth craving is an elegant excursion.

Walked in and had the kiddos order what they wanted... and NEITHER ordered Lady M's famous Mille Crêpes so I ordered one too. Kiddos loved their Strawberry Cream Shortcake. Pistachio Mille Crêpes and Jasmine Calamansi Mille Crêpes were both delicious. Hubby liked the pistachio more, I liked the flavor punch from the other better. But I wouldn't mind eating either one again. Space is beautiful. Parking on this end of Sawtelle isn't as challenging. We found a metered street parking space just around the corner from Lady M's.

Due to the undercooked quality, it's not a cookie I'd get regularly, though I am a big chocolate chip cookie fan. 5/5 Rocky Road: This was delicious. I'm not usually a marshmallow fan, but the addition of this ingredient formed a nice chewy consistency that I expect from a cookie. Chocolatey tidbits were well melted into the cookie texture and produced some fudgey notes. The cookie sizes are large and potentially shareable, and feel like an every once in awhile treat.

I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off. I'm not going to pay for food that skims on ingredients and shortchanges customers by charging more for less, so this will be my last visit.
