    Buffet $26.99 pp
    Kris B.

New Year's Eve dinner at Knotts. Don't let the classy and upscale exterior fool you - this is a buffet and the ambience is straight up "cavernous church hall." The service was non-existent, which seems impossible since all they had to do was take drink orders and take away empty plates. The girl at the cash bar said she was thrown there and had no idea what she was doing. My friend Brian said open that bottle and pour! There were a ton of staff working but no direction. Where's the training? Where's the management? Zero stars for the experience and service. Two stars for the food: highlights were green bean casserole, Mac n cheese, sweet potatoes, and believe it or not, the fruitcake! Definitely not worth $26.99 per person. At least we got our 10% annual pass discount.

A moment for being thankful for the people in our lives.

After having Thanksgiving breakfast at Spurs Restaurant I'm surprised that Spurs has only 3 stars. My experience was thoroughly wonderful. Being Thanksgiving we did have to wait a little while (even with reservations) but it wasn't a long wait. As we walked in the place was beautifully decorated and the buffet tables looked like holiday greeting cards. The back room where we sat is much more humble looking then the front room. However it is also much more quiet than the front room so I am really glad we were sat back there. Our waiter was really nice guy. Very friendly and courteous. My boyfriend was a bit miffed that the bus-woman (or someone) didn't take away our used plates fast enough. For me, since it was Thanksgiving and our table was largest enough for a new set of buffet dishes and the 2 used dishes it didn't bother me. She apologized, got the dishes and was off. The food: AMAZING. When you first walk in you can see the buffet tables to your right and it was literally picture perfect. Everything we tried was genuinely cooked / prepared to perfect or near perfection. The turkey was incredibly moist and the gravy was delicious. The salmon was fresh, the pasta was flavorful, the bacon was cooked thoroughly and not a single burnt one in the bunch. The fruit was fresh and the desert table was beautiful. The only suggestion I would offer is that I wish they had more 1-bite size samples of various desserts that they had in slices. I hate to waste food and I can't eat a lot of desserts. Also - a couple more sugar free 1-bite size samples would be nice.

Rock and Brews in Buena Park delivered an absolutely unforgettable…read moreexperience for our son's special celebration, and we could not be more grateful to the entire Rock n Brew's Buena Park team that supported our event for making it happen. During the planning phase, General Manager Mike's experience was extremely helpful when we shared what we envisioned for the party. He advised us where to set up the sections for food, a photo booth, the satellite bar, gift/message table, and where to place the tables that were in front of the stage for our hired entertainment (singer and DJ). We reserved the beach outdoor patio which can have up to 200 people, stage and dance area and TVs to project photos. From the moment we arrived, besides Mike, Kelly was also onsite and the point of contact for our event and was available during the event. The service was nothing short of exceptional. Servers Raelyn and team were attentive, personable, and went above and beyond to ensure a successful event. My husband and I were able to enjoy the party alongside our family with our family and friends. Our event was held during Memorial Day weekend when a chemical leak occurred in Garden Grove and Mike worked closely with us to address our concerns, kept us informed every step of the way regarding any potential impact to the Buena Park location (which, thankfully, was never affected) and made sure every detail we outlined in the layout of the event was in place. His professionalism and steady reassurance transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless and joyful evening. The ambiance was lively, festive, and absolutely ideal for our crowd. And the food? Our guests could not stop raving about it. Everyone agreed it far surpassed typical bar food. The sliders were a massive hit, the pizza was devoured within minutes and generous in portion and incredible in flavor -- had everyone going back for seconds. Multiple guests approached us throughout the night just to compliment the food, which says everything. That night at Rock and Brews in Buena Park will forever be a cherished core memory for our family and friends. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our son's college graduation celebration so incredibly magical! If you're looking for a stress-free venue for your next event, Rock and Brews in Buena Park delivers on every level. Great food, amazing staff and a fun, relaxed atmosphere - they truly check all the boxes for an exceptional celebration!

Like it's so insane!!! It's like walking into a Rock n' Roll hall of fame museum or something. It's very spacious inside and very vibrant!!! They play rock n' roll videos on their big screens and have all the major bands all over!! Very good vibe to come for brunch and large parties. They even have a nice outdoor seating area. The food that I ordered was good too! I had the Asian flavored wings, bbq chicken salad, and chocolate brownie sundae to share. The food for me was pretty decent!!! The wings were so bomb and fresh!!! The happy hour red cabineret wine was also good!! The service was actually outstanding here!!! The hostess was very nice and sweet, she helped out the whole time and let us move from the seat we didn't want to sit at. Also, our server Ray was just amazing!!! Very nice and personable. She recommended good things to eat off the menu. Thanks for that!!! The manager Ed was also really nice and was the best!!! He was super cool and very down to earth!! Exceptional customer service is def here at Rock & Brews!! I will come back here for sure !!! They have happy hour everyday and really good menu. I recommend here! -Marshay D.

Everything was really good. The food was solid, and the pricing felt fair for today's world--not cheap, but not outrageous either. Honestly, since it's inside a hotel, my expectations weren't sky-high, but the food pleasantly surprised me. I'd definitely come back, especially to try their brunch. The reason it's four stars instead of five comes down to the atmosphere and staffing. The restaurant sits right in the hotel lobby with no walls, so you hear everything--hotel guests coming and going, music playing in the lobby, the TV from the bar, and general foot traffic. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxed dinner, this might feel a little overstimulating. Also, our waiter (who was great, by the way) seemed to be doing the job of about three people. He was taking orders, bringing drinks and food, running payments, and even delivering room service. The poor guy was working like he owed the hotel money. On a Friday night, they could definitely use more staff. That said, the food was good, the service was kind, and I'd still come back--next time probably for brunch.

There were so many ways to get to a seat but we decided to go to the desk area to wait to be seated. We looked around and couldn't find anyone, so we asked a couple that was already seated and they said to just go grab a seat because the same thing happened to them. So once we grabbed our seats, the waiter went to the front desk and brought our menus. They were very nice and one was a Dallas cowboys fan, so she started playing like she couldn't serve me because of my Eagle hat. Anyway, we enjoyed the service and our waitress. As for the food, I ordered the fish tacos and they were ok. I'm not sure I would get them again. Also the kids meals looked very plain and boring (penne pasta with nothing on it and a cheese pizza). We did say we weren't going to really eat much because we were headed to Knott's Boysenberry Festival so we were saving room for that. Overall, it was a decent meal and nothing to write home about. There wasn't anything wrong because my kids ate their food and I thought my tacos were just ok. If you are staying in the hotel, I would suggest you see what's in the mall outside first and the hotel front desk will give you some great recommendations on food write out the door. This restaurant is a hidden gem (super stunning decor) and one of the best hotel restaurants I've ever eaten at. They have an incredible selection and prices are decent. Unsafe Conditions, Dismissive Management & Unnecessary Security Call…read more I was dining at Thirty Acres Kitchen inside the Knott's Hotel when water started dripping directly from the ceiling onto me. There was also standing water on the floor with no wet floor signs, barriers, or any warnings whatsoever. This was a clear slip-and-fall hazard in a busy restaurant. I calmly brought it to the attention of the manager on duty, Julie, and pointed out how dangerous it was--especially for guests using wheelchairs or with mobility needs, this was particularly concerning. Instead of addressing the problem, she dismissed it as "not a big deal," refused to complete any incident report, gave me a negative attitude with a mean facial expression, and then called security on me as if I was the problem. When the young security guard arrived, he asked for my ID. I politely refused and explained the situation calmly--he looked surprised but not defensive. I have photos documenting the ceiling leak, standing water, and lack of signage. This experience was disappointing and unsafe, especially from a hotel restaurant attached to a family theme park. Management should prioritize fixing hazards and training staff to handle legitimate guest concerns professionally rather than escalating them. I hope Knott's / Six Flags investigates and improves. This was my first time coming to this restaurant.

Although CJ's was a much better restaurant from 1977-2005 when privately run by the Nickoloff family and took another quality hit when the otherwise excellent Landry's chain took over in 2010, the remaining locations, including this one, are still decent sit down, casual, and family dining restaurants. After visiting several times for lunch and dinner on both weekdays and weekends during both peak and non-peak hours, in our opinion, Yelpers who have complained about poor service both from servers and seaters as well as the seats being run down have not had a typical experience here. Although getting seated was a little slow on several of our visits, the people who seated did not have a bad attitude and on a few occasions it was our server. Although several of our servers here were friendly and attentive, Austin on our last visit, really did a good job. This is one of the only remaining CJ's that still has a salad bar and we have gotten it on several visits. We have also had the ribs and chicken pot pie at this location as well as some of their cocktails. Although it is sad that soup is no longer included in the salad bar, the food quality is still good and comparable to other renaming CJ locations such as in San Diego and Vegas (Henderson). This CJ's is located in a strip mall with limited parking and is across the street from Knott's Berry Farm. Parking can be difficult and the spaces are small, but we have always been able to find a spot so far. There are several other good restaurants in the area, but if you are visiting Knott's and want a sit down, casual, and family dining experience, this CJ's is a good choice and better than eating at Knott's--CJ's chicken pot pie is bigger and better than Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant. The 3.1 current Yelp average for this CJ's location is too low--it should be a 4 star. It cannot be a 5 star unless the return to the former quality and quantity the restaurant had under the Nickoloff family.
