Hubby had the breakfast burrito the size of Popeye's forearm with a side of biscuit & gravy. I ordered a bacony benedict type thingy with onions & cheese, it was divoon. The gravy for the biscuit was a little thin but a generous portion of it. Overall, we were both very happy with out takeout and had no issues or delays picking the order up. It was almost noon on the 4th of July when I ordered but still had no issues, and the restaurant did not seem to be it's usual business at that time. Moral of the story: if you like Squeeze In on a weekend or holiday just to come here and complain about the wait or service, maybe just order ahead & get take-out? read more

The twice-baked scramble is still my favorite go-to breakfast or lunch form here. It comes with a side. I often choose to top it with hashbrowns. It is so scrumptious this way. This time, I opted to get a bowl of fresh fruit. It is packed full of potatoes, bacon, cheese, and green onions. I prefer to have my potatoes extra crispy. I love to get over-easy eggs and have the egg yolks run into the potatoes. It is a creamy lucscious bite. Being that it was a Sunday, we got a reservation through Yelp. I highly recommend doing this. We had a party of 5 and had a short wait of about 15 minutes. We all got something different. Our waitress made sure that my grandson got his meal first. HORRIBLE customer service!!! Had a party of 5 and were told it would be about a 25 minute wait... after an hour we were still waiting while they kept seating every party of 2 that walked in... wtf? Helllo, ignorant ones, restaurant management 101, when you have a larger party, you need to put 2 tables together and perhaps make someone else wait a few extra minutes. Common sense is needed here. An absolutely enjoyable experience! It was my family's 1st time here, but we will definitely come back again the next time we're in the area. The family wanted brunch and this place was close by and dog friendly. We sat at an outside table (with our dog in a carrier) as a party of 6 and water and cups were promptly brought out and drink orders instantly placed. Our server was Kaitlyn (spelling may be wrong) but she was very attentive and patient and answered our questions. The food portions were huge and most of us took home leftovers. Food was tasty, except for the spuds (they were crispy and lovely but lacked flavor). However, everything else was a hot i ordered the Garth sandwich and it was delicious! All in all a lovely experience. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, since it's a shared parking lot with tons of businesses, but it was manageable. So I reviewed this place before, about 7 years ago, but for whatever reason, Yelp! pulled my review, and my photos, claiming I was "affiliated with the business", like I work here, or I'm a shareholder. Well, they won't be pulling this review, unless they want to break federal law as my disclaimer at the end will explain. I love the decorations, and all of the different alien stuff, and just random decorum that actually works for this place. People can also sign their name and put stickers on the wall! Anyhow, I've been coming to these for years. The one in Carson City also. I've actually been interested in buying into one of these franchises, because everyone that I've been to have been super successful, but its a cool $¼M just to get started. They have a good diverse menu, and they have mimosas by the pitcher. Of all the times I've been to these, I've only had a subpar meal one time, and that was a few times ago when I ordered the chorizo Benedict. I think they were training a new cook, but the eggs were way overcooked, but they were happy to bring me better eggs. This particular visit, Tony was my server. He is excellent! I'm pretty sure that he's waited on us somewhere down the line, but super on top of things, super happy, just a really good dude, so ask to sit with him if you want top notch service! This visit, I ordered the traditional Benedict. I'm an eggs Benedict FIEND, and every time I come here I always say I'm going to order something different, but I generally don't. I do on occasion, but this bene I ordered yesterday was ON POINT! Large eggs, poached perfectly, perfect hash browns, creamy rich hollandaise sauce, and I even ordered a side of biscuits and gravy, which were perfect. Haley brought our food to us out of the kitchen, she was super nice and told us we could rely on her if we needed anything special! Squeeze in is always pretty much a guaranteed home run. Sometimes the wait times are crazy, which is a good thing, but you can always check in online. I checked in online before I left the house yesterday, had about an 8 minute drive, and was seated within 3 minutes of getting there. But other times, I've checked in 20 minutes before arrival, and still had to wait 10 or 20 minutes. Regardless, to me it's worth the wait. We came to Squeeze In mid-morning on a Sunday, and even though there was a short 15-minute wait, it went by quickly. The staff kept things moving, and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. It was surprisingly entertaining for both our kids (a 10-month-old and a 5-year-old), which made the wait and meal so much easier. The service was excellent. Everyone was cheerful and accommodating. They were kind enough to let me order just a side of scrambled eggs for the baby, which I really appreciated. My 5-year-old got the pumpkin pancakes from their seasonal menu and absolutely loved them. I had the eggs Benedict, which were delicious with perfectly poached eggs and rich hollandaise. It's definitely a bit tricky to eat gracefully with a baby in your lap, but that's on me, not the food. My husband ordered his go-to breakfast sandwich, which he said was his favorite and didn't disappoint. Our choices this visit: The Spanish Flay Omelette (9/10) I usually try the terrific "Bomb Bacon Benny" whenever I am at a Squeeze In, but this time I went for the "Spanish Flay" Omelet. This creation was inspired by Season 7, Episode 10 of "Throwdown with Bobby Flay" when the celebrity cook paid a visit to Squeeze In. This "Spanish Flay" omelet came packed with a moderately spicy chorizo, sliced red bell peppers, potatoes, paprika and enough cheese inside to be able to execute a couple of "cheese pulls" as I devoured it. The accompanying Tomato Pesto sauce was perfect on the omelet. Ask for more! :) The sides of home fries were totally on point.. tender with a slightly crispy crust and not burnt. The default side of sliced toasted sourdough was almost perfect. I forgot to tell them to leave the butter on the side for that. Southwest Chicken Salad: (9/10) Fresh and healthy with a decent amount of sliced chicken breast. It comes with olives, so subtract that before ordering if that isn't your taste. Balsamic Vinaigrette was perfect with this. Getting Here: This Squeeze In is located in the strip mall right behind the bright red Wells Fargo sign at the corner of Sparks Blvd and Disc Drive. We walked in and two people came in right behind us, a gal walked up and greeted the man behind us and started getting a DoorDash order for him that wasn't ready. It was not busy. The two young men and young gal just sat there leaning against the counter on their phones. I walked around for a moment and many plates had napkins in them, I would say 1/2 the room was probably waiting for a check. In one swoop he says "Can I take these?" And handed the bill device over for payment. After this experience I won't be back for a long while. Place and vibe are pretty cool. Got seated and promptly waited on. Coffee was pretty good. We ordered and food came out in an appropriate amount of time. I got the breakfast sandwich, adult daughter got an omelet. We both got potatoes. Potatoes were over cooked. Breakfast sandwich was good, not great...same with omelet. 3-26-2024 We have driven past this Squeeze In Breakfast and Lunch diner in Sparks many times before we FINALLY stopped in for breakfast! Luke was super and the food was SO delicious. The ambiance is very "Area 51", the seating area very cozy, and the entire restaurant is entirely clean, bright, and interesting! On top of all that, we requested AND received Hashbrowns that were cooked on BOTH SIDES! I am still confused why some restaurants think that half-raw potatoes are ok, but we both finished these excellent hashbrowns- something we NEVER do! The omelets were also top-notch and delectable.
