I've driven by here many times but finally stopped for dinner on the recommendation of a friend. Ordered smoked baby back ribs. WOW! Delicious flavors, moist & tender meat, tangy flavorful sauce and very generous portions. So good!! Apparently the ribs are so popular here, they often run out. Our Server Mark was the best. I think he filled up our water 4 times. Was so patient in explaining the menu to us. The place has character. Good old fashion service. Came here for dinner on a Sunday around 5 pm. We were seated right away. I ordered one of the specials, pot roast for $22. The meat was very tender and the vegetables were good and not over cooked. My bf got the chicken fried chicken ($25). He ordered a regular baked potato but was given a loaded one and then charged for it. Food had good flavor. The owner came by to check in on us. Fun, kinda kitschy joint serving up some traditional and not-so-traditional type of Steakhouse fare. What's interesting ... and good IMO... is that they don't serve bread to start. This way you aren't filling up on 'empty carbs' so to speak waiting for your meal. Plus... you'll have room for dessert later. Hubby had the New York Steak w/ gorgonzola while I had the Blackened Ahi where I subbed mashed potatoes for the wild rice. His steak was sizeable and the gorgonzola was at the "almost melted but not quite" stage which made the steak more decadent with the cheese adding creaminess and a little bite of acidity. My Blackened Ahi was perfectly prepared... with just the right amount of sear so that most of the ahi was rare.... just the way I like it. The mashed potatoes were very tasty (creamy, smooth) and went great with the Blackened style I opted for. The mash potatoes were served with a gravy which (had I known) I would have asked to be put on the side as I don't normally like gravy. Their gravy isn't heavy nor salty so it didn't take away from the potatoes too much. We shared their tiramisu for dessert and it was very good. The lady fingers were lightly soaked in the coffee / liqueur so that the bread/cake isn't just mush. The custard layers were light and not overly sweet, yet still decadent. Their wine menu is pretty limited... maybe a dozen options, but what they have is good. Mind you, I'm used to Vegas where there are like 100 options on every menu no matter where you go. ha! BONUS: They have a small pasture adjacent to the restaurant and we were lucky enough to watch a mare and her foal. The foal was very lively and would sprint and do a bit of bucking every now and then. Cute and Fun! once again another long day of hiking but i was looking for redemption from last night's post hike meal. we came across this place and i had a lot of faith that it would outdo last night's disaster. when we arrived the expected wait time was forty five minutes to an hour which seemed fair so i sat in the car while doing some homework. i was shocked when my father said that it was time for us to go grab our table because at most only half an hour had passed. balsamic glazed salmon; (8/10) i ordered the salmon which also came with rice pilaf and sautéed vegetables. the rice was okay nothing bad about it whatsoever but nothing that spectacular. the salmon was a great size but there was not much of that balsamic glaze and it was a little bland for me. but my favorite component and honestly the star of the dish were the vegetables. i loved those vegetables and i honestly do not know why but i finished them before anything else. service here was fantastic even though they were packed and stormed with hungry customers they still brought food out quickly. we had received our food maybe fifteen minutes after ordering which is not bad at all. our waiter was matt and he was so nice and gave us so many helpful suggestions and recommendations. even the owner came out to greet us. he thanked and said that he appreciated our service and eating at his restaurant. coming here though is definitely one of the better options of food to eat in the area. they offer a good variety especially for steaks. the service is impeccable and everyone is too kind. read more

Staying near by for a Zion trip and noticed this place was hopping on a Monday so we decided to swing in. We were told it was a 30-40 minute wait, which was fine, but it only ended up being about 15! That's always nice. Our server was really cool and attentive but not overly so. It was so hard to pick an entree, as everyone's meal around us looked amazing. We decided on a couple New York strips. I shared mine with my sister and the 14oz was definitely enough for the both of us. Cooked perfectly to medium well. We also both got salads to start. Ceasar and house salad with bacon vinaigrette were delicious. Back to the steaks... soo good and flavorful! The veggies were also good and garlicky. I liked the selection of zucchini squash! Must be joking with these prices. I came with my fiance and his mom. She thought it was okay to pay exuberant dollars for 4 shrimp. They weren't cold, as a shrimp cocktail should be. That really grossed me out. So I didn't try them, in apprehension of getting sick. She also got the breadticks. $8 for offering nothing but a filling for your stomach. We weren't actually planning to visit Zion. We were 2 hours from Joshua Tree when our hotel emailed to let us know we cannot stay there (or in CA at all) unless we have documentation we were essential workers. After a little scramble we landed in Virgin, UT. It was late and we were hungry so we headed into Springdale to find dinner. We were turned away place after place because we didn't have a reservation--and turned away in a way which made us feel undesirable. I was feeling pretty hungry and pretty low, calling place after place to see if we could get a last minute reservation...on a MONDAY. Enter an angel named Destiny, who promised to give me a call when she could get a table for us. 30 minutes later she actually called (!!!) and we were able to walk right in. I was already predisposed to love this place just because they found a place for us, but it was actually unreasonably good. The menu is eclectic. We had the feta cheese plate (an interesting spin on caprese?). We both opted for ahi tuna, which was perfectly cooked. The soy jalapeño dressing was amazing and I found myself pouring it on my salad. As good as the food was, the service was stellar. Our waiter was super friendly and was kind enough to answer our questions about Utah (weird alcohol laws, much?), and directing us to the very best cocktail (the Moscow mule). We had breakfast and it was killer. Super large portions and prices were very reasonable. All the staff worked together as a team.

Our last evening in Hurricane we found this location with good reviews so we decided to give it a try. The wait was about 30 minutes because we didn't have reservations but it was ok. We finally sat down and We ordered fried zucchini snd probably the best we've ever had. The both ordered steak dinners and both had amazing flavors and cooked to perfection. The salad was on point, the vinaigrette dressing had bacon which was absolutely the best dressing we've had. I ordered extra mushrooms and sadly they were cold but when I told them they brought hot ones right out. Service was great and the owner came by as we waited for the food. I loved this place. We had a short wait for a group of 6 late on a Friday night. The server got our drink order right away. They have a kids menu and crayons which was great. We dined in twice on our 4 day trip to Zion NP, the experience was THAT GOOD. I told Patty our waitress that I had been road tripping Utah for the past 2 weeks and that this had been the best meal I had eaten so far, and I wasn't lying! Incredible food, fresh tasting, packed with flavor. You can't go wrong here. They also comped the desert for my sisters birthday which was so generous of them. We came for breakfast this morning, we were told the French toast is delicious and that everything for breakfast is reasonably priced. Our experience was disappointing to say the least. On the way there we noticed the other breakfast places in town were packed when we arrived here it didn't seem too bad crowd wise. However our server (didn't get his name) didn't come over for quite a while but when he did is when the problems started. The 4 adults order coffee and then he walked away without even acknowledging we had a 4 year old with us that wanted a drink as well so we had to stop him as he was leaving to tell him she wanted a chocolate milk. Eventually we got 2 coffees and a giant glass of chocolate milk with no straw and was told the other two cups of coffee would be out as soon as it was done brewing. Finally he brought the other two cups and took our order he went around the table and AGAIN ignored the fact that we had a child at the table and put his book away and started walking away without acknowledging that she might want some breakfast as well so we told him what she wanted and he walked away... Now let me just say everyone else that we spoke with was great we were able to get the straw for my daughter, more creamer, coffee and was checked in on. So eventually we got our food and my daughters plate was missing plus two plates of toast so again we reminded him of her pancakes so he went back and got them but didn't bring the bacon it was supposed to come with we all started eating and then flagged him over to ask about the bacon and again his excuse was that they he was still waiting for the bacon... we didn't buy it because he went straight back to the kitchen to get it and it was cold. So we're all not quite sure why this waiter doesn't like kids but we were all pretty agitated that he didn't acknowledge her what so ever, we've never had that happen. Now the food, the hash browns looks undercooked, the toast was a little burnt and all the bacon was cooked differently some crispy some not. Their breakfast potatoes were great.
