It's a clean yet flavorful broth that I really enjoy. The lectin here is so juicy and crunch, and the picked carrots and radish pair well to balance the fat. Vibes here a low light setting, great for date night. Service here has always been great as well. An amazing dining experience in Pasadena!

It is a beautiful spot to have lunch, dinner or brunch. We have tried all, but we do love their dinner menu the best. Parking can be a pain, but you will be fine. The place is super clean and new looking, although we have been coming for a few years now. The service is great, from the Hostess to the servers, all were on their game as was the kitchen. Our food was perfect and we have zero complaints. You must try Bone Kettle. It is worth it. It is Asian food and boy is it great. It is upscale Asian and you can taste it in every bite. Their Beef Ribs which is a Bone Kettle signature dish- also has fried shallots, scallions. It is so tender and juicy. I am not in love with their Oxtail dumplings, but they were very good and my grandson is in love with them. They are juicy and just so fresh tasting. Their Rendang Carbonara is a must try. It is 24hr braised shredded short ribs, fried shallots, chives, micro cilantro, parmesan cheese, bell peppers, noodles, bacon and poached egg. You can add bone marrow for about 12$. Do that. Finally, and we love all the food, but the Seafood Char Kway Teow is a must if you like fishcakes. It is rice noodles, pork lap cheong, prawns, fishcake, clams, mussels, calamari, bean sprouts, egg, fried shallots, green onions and great chives and chili oil. The oysters in the shell are also great. Have fun.

Soft spoken and kind, we were very at ease with him. The restaurant itself was beautiful and the couches are very comfortable, which was a huge plus. The ginger ale is made in house and is many tiers higher than Canada Dry. We ordered the Panda Beef and the Panda Inn Special because it was our first time there and why not? Lean in to what their specials are. Both dishes were amazing. The Panda Inn Special featured large plump bites of lobster, chicken, and shrimp, with a medley of vegetables and smaller pieces of pork. The Panda Beef was shockingly amazing with crisp and flavorful slices of beef. We finished up dinner with Chocolate Lava Cake and the Warm Rice Pudding, the latter of which is also made in house. Both were a very great end to the dinner. Other notes that were very appreciated: - the checkbook and how nice it looked -they took the parking ticket with the check so we didn't have to go validate it ourselves - white rice is free? - the bar had an automatic wine glass shiner that was fun to look at - take out bag has a very luxury feel to it

First time I got beef pad se ew and it was yummy. I went for early dinner on a Tuesday and the place was empty. The second time I went I got tofu pad Thai and it too was yummy. This time I went for lunch (they have great lunch specials) and the place was busy and buzzing. Note that here they put sautéed purple onions in their pad Thai. I'm used to onions on the dish being green onions. I happen to hate onions so it was a bummer, but I just picked them out and it was fine. Both times I got Thai iced tea, I'm lactose intolerant so can't usually have it. They have oat milk to substitute for the milk. There's a small parking lot with a couple of designated spots and you can enter through the back. There is also street parking nearby.

Shame on me for missing out on their delicious food for sixteen years. I seem to recall back then it was more Thai fusion than it is now. But I have consumed a lot of beer, wine, cocktails in the interim so my brain could be foggy on that account. Nevertheless the food we ate was fantastic. I would love to get bottles of their sauces to cook with at home. The summer wraps are largely lettuce and Thai mint - I prefer having a bit more carrot and cuke in them, but I'm not the boss. The spinach peanut with tofu had epic spinach and tasty tofu. The Chinese broccoli in the Pad See Ew was nice and crisp. I guess there is parking in the lot in the back of the store. Seems to be marked for specific stores. I wonder, does the Spa really get that busy they need that many spots? I didn't see anything reserved for Daisy patrons. But I figured most of the other businesses were not open in the evening. Anyway we didn't get a ticket or towed off the lot.

Even though it's part of a chain, the restaurant consistently delivers quality food, reliable service, and a comfortable atmosphere that keeps me coming back. The steak was cooked perfectly and paired well with their classic fries, which were crisp, flavorful, and always a satisfying side. The salad was also exceptionally fresh, with high-quality ingredients that made it feel more thoughtful than a typical steakhouse starter. What I appreciate most about Houston's is its consistency--whether visiting years ago or today, the food quality and service remain dependable. Service was attentive, professional, and efficient throughout the meal. The only downside is the long line at the entrance, even for guests with reservations. However, the staff manages the crowd well, and despite the wait, we were seated earlier than expected. Overall, Houston's continues to be one of the most reliable dining spots in Pasadena, offering a great steakhouse experience with solid food, excellent service, and a level of consistency that is increasingly hard to find.

A tiny Thai place in Altadena, at the edge of where the fires were, we were happy to support the business. Turned out to be an excellent choice. You walk in, order and pay at the counter and server brings food to your table. The decor is very nice. It can get quite crowded during peak meal times, so I recommend going after the rush. We had: *Pork and shrimp egg rolls that were fried perfectly and not greasy. *Pad Kee Mow with chicken, which was delicious but next time I'd get tofu instead of chicken. They use white meat and I prefer dark meat. *Spicy crispy pork belly, which had delicious favor but we did find the meat to be a bit over-cooked and therefore tough. Still it was delicious and took home the leftovers, which we steamed to warm up water and the meat was nice and tender minus the skin. Staff is super nice and helpful. Cannot wait to back! I've already got my heart set on their eggplant dish.

I got their Spicy Shrimp Pad Thai and omg... it was lowkey one of the best pad thai I've had in a WHILE. And I don't say that lightly because I'm picky picky when it comes to pad thai. It's literally the one dish I always order at any Thai restaurant, so my standards is kinda up there. But also... this was in the middle of the desert at a music festival so ngl I didn't have high hopes lol. But their Spicy Shrimp Pad Thai was so good!! The flavor was super authentic, spicy, tangy, just hitting all the right notes. The noodles had that perfect chewiness, not clumped together so they know exactly what they doing with their food! The shrimp were big and tasted fresh and all the toppings: bean sprouts, grounded peanuts, and lime, just brought everything together so nicely. Also the staff were super sweet and friendly, and I got my food in likes 5 minutes, gave me more enough time to sit down and enjoy my pad thai while waiting for Sabrina Carpenter's stage setup. Miya's Pad Thai completely won me over at Coachella, it's sooo good to the point where now I actually wanna go visit the real restaurant if I'm ever around the Altadena area.
