So good and super quick. Was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Smells amazing as soon as I walked in.

I think this is probably the best Senorita bread in Sacramento. Served warm and soft. Yum!! It is a must try. I also tried their vegetable Lumpia. Those were good also.

Didn't realize I dropped my wallet outside the store until they kindly shipped it back to me. Thank you so much!

We stopped by Starbread Friday after Thanksgiving but we had came after their holiday hours so we couldn't get any. this isn't our first time having Starbread but it is our first time at the Roseville/Sac location. This is a special shoutout to the Starbread team because I didn't realize I dropped my wallet outside the store and they shipped it back to me, which is so incredible and speak volumes to the people here. Thank you!

Can never go wrong with senorita breads. Great for snacking, parties, or any occasions. Prices are reasonable. Service was quick. Eat them while they are hot and fresh! If you get 15+ pieces, it will come in a box. They sell other items as well such as lumpia, malasadas, croissants, etc. Plenty of parking but just be careful at it is not in the safest area :)

    Rose R.

If your going to come here for lumpia, you need to come early. They sell out fast. There's a variety of bake goods. Call if you're looking for a specific bake goods.

This place is so good. Man that bread is on point. It's super soft, hot and buttery. I was not sure what it was going to be like so I got a small bag, worst mistake of my life. . No not Fr but it went to fast and I was sad when I got to the last one. Don't be like me a get a small one get the biggest box the have, you might just want to bring a Amazon, box from home and ask them to just fill that up. It's beyond good i I am for sure going back

    Hot and fresh Senorita bread!

I love señorita bread!! Every time I come to Starbread bakery they always have pipping hot senorita bread, sometimes the wait is less than 5 minutes for a fresh batch. The señorita bread is always so hot, fluffy, buttery, and sweet. The prices are great! I need to make it a point to try some of their other sweets or baked goods one day!

One of my favorites bakery in Sac, if you're craving for fresh pastries, Filipino pandesal, and señorita bread, look no more this is the place. Starbread Bakery is conveniently located in the Seafood City Village in Mack Rd. They carry lots of varieties of bread and empanadas also. It smells amazing in the store! Service is quick, friendly and ambiance is clean.

Soft, slightly sweet, divine senorita bread was worth the 40 minute drive for me. My son tasted these for the first time and his eyes lit up. He said they're dangerously good and ate 10 the first day. I bought the 40 piece and we had them for a few days. By day 3, they were stale, but still loved dunking them in my coffee. (Microwave them for about 20 seconds).

Quick service and really delicious bread! It tastes like honey and butter with a but of sugar. Really good price too for a box of them. Theres not much standing room when waiting but the service was quick and the bread is fresh. I'd come back to try the other pastries they have.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet!! When I'm in the area, I HAVE to stop in for some of their famous Señorita Bread! I mean, who doesn't love the pillowy, soft, buttery goodness that's fresh from the oven? I always forget they have locations down south, but I never seem to forget when I'm in SacTown!! Lol Maybe it's because it was at this Starbread Bakery location that I popped my Señorita Bread cherry!! They have other Filipino desserts and baked goods, but I've never purchased anything else. I'm probably the weirdest Filipina you'll ever meet, lol. I'll always be a fan of the bread, though!! The prices have gone up since my first visit, but you really can't help that. The quality is top tier, and as long as the cost isn't outrageous, I'll happily satisfy my cravings! The parking lot is shared with other businesses so there's plenty. The service is always fast and the aunties are always nice. Be back again soon! ;)

Sheeeshhh I've been here hella times but this is my first time making a review. This bread is dangerous! Why is it dangerous? Cuz it's so hard to stop eating. U gonna mess around and gain like 10 lbs. service is great, very polite and fast service. The place is well lit, small and you'll be surrounded by all kinds of goodness. The bread is always given to you hot! It's buttery with a kiss of sweetness. Addicting af! They should call this bread "crack bread" cuz it's hella addicting!

Did they change the recipe of the Senorita bread at the Mack Road location? I heard they changed it at the Natomas location and renamed it Spanish bread and it doesn't taste the same.

Yes they did! I bought some a few days ago and it's not as buttery or as sweet as I remembered.

When we came a little before noon, there were a few type of buns/pastries that only had one to two of left, and we were glad to grab the last ones. They don't seem to overstock so all the buns were pretty fresh, and we definitely enjoyed ours. Sunrise bun-great cookie crust! And still crunchy the day after Matcha Sunrise bun-with matcha cream inside too, great crust, can taste the matcha, not very sweet Teriyaki meatball bun-SO liked it, meatballs also had teriyaki flavor Strawberry Anko Cream bun-my favorite! Fresh light whipped cream, smooth red bean. They could add a little more strawberry but that combo on fresh bread was so refreshing-just like a strawberry daifuku. I highly recommend :)

Asides from this one, this family business has other stores in Japan and India. My favorite is the sweet cream cheese even though Mahoroba is known for their Kobe cream, which are both stuffed with fillings. You can say that they don't skimp. It's hard to leave without purchasing a box of goodies even though they do run out super early, especially on the weekends. If you aren't big on sweets, they have savory items. The meatball pan is my favorite the meatballs just does really well with the bread. Not going to lie, but I used to work here when they first opened in 2009 and I would never get tired of eating the meatball pan or the green tea melon pan during my break. After all these years, I would have a craving from time to time so I always return and say hello to the owner. Besides, they make a lovely goodie box for a party and I always throw in a bag of dinner rolls because the quality of their bread is so soft and delicious. I'll be lucky if I still have 1/4 of the bag by the time I get home.

However, this visit was disappointing because of my interaction with one of the employees. While I was looking at the menu, he came over to help, and I asked a few questions about the salads because I wasn't sure what each one included. Instead of feeling helped, I felt rushed and talked down to. His tone came across as impatient and dismissive, and it made me feel uncomfortable asking simple questions. Everyone is unfamiliar with a menu at some point, and I left that interaction feeling like my questions were an inconvenience rather than something he was happy to help with. The food, on the other hand, was great. The ciabatta sandwich is one of my favorites and is always a reason I come back. The matcha is usually amazing as well. I love how creamy and smooth it normally is with oat milk, and it's honestly one of the best matchas I've had. This time, though, it tasted much grassier and more bitter than usual, which was a little disappointing. For dessert, I tried the strawberry mousse dessert with a chocolate shell and strawberry filling. The mousse and strawberry filling were delicious, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The only part I didn't enjoy was the outer chocolate shell, which was a little too bitter for my taste and overpowered some of the other flavors. Overall, the food was still very good, but the service left a negative impression. I enjoy Estelle's and will likely return, but I hope future visits involve friendlier and more welcoming customer service.

The cherry pastry was a stunner and delicious as well with great flavor and a nice balance of sweetness. My husband wanted the Estelle Noisette and although it was good, it was my least favorite of the three. It had pleasant nutty flavors but it was a little too rich for me. In the end, the real standout was the Blueberry Choux. The cream was light and fluffy and it had just the right amount of blueberry flavor. I really liked the texture of the pastry too and how it complimented the fluffy cream. I would definitely order that one again and highly recommend it. The pastries are definitely on the pricey side, but the quality and presentation justify the cost. The interior of the shop was nice and definitely reminded me of patisseries in France. There was plenty of seating available inside but I took my order to go. I'm really glad I finally got to give them a try and while not every item was a home run for me, the Blueberry Choux alone made the visit worthwhile. While picking up my boyfriend was recommended the cinnamon roll and he caved and got it! We had our pickup time at 7:30, but we showed up a little early and got our food around 7:20. There was a bit of a wait since there were some people ahead of us, so I'd recommend you going a bit earlier than your time just in case you're in a rush. We headed home to try everything. We really enjoyed the biscuits themselves as they didn't leave a dry or grainy feeling in your mouth. They had a good crust while being airy and light inside. The sandwiches were good, but they were anything crazy. Size wise it is small for the price you get, but I get it. It's all house made and fresh. We definitely think the biscuits themselves are the standout. The blueberry and brown sugar biscuits were a sweet tooth's heaven. The cinnamon roll wasn't too sweet either and had great texture and basically melted in your mouth. I never knew about midtown bakery before midtown biscuits so I would definitely come back to check out their other items, while getting those biscuits!

Some of my favorites: 1. Croissants- all of them lovely... can't miss! 2. Smoke Salmon Tartine- some of my favorite things balanced on top of a yummy toast (roasted carrots, creamy cream spread, daisies, and of course salmon) 3. Red bean sesame cheesecake- sounds crazy, but quite good and I'm not even a fan of red beans 4. Mceggggg- yes, five stars for the "5G" Sando!

I initially parked closer to their kitchen, not realizing there was a main building but they're right across from each other. They have a few self-ordering kiosks, which I guess they prefer customers to use. It kind of seemed like the staff member didn't want to take my order, even though it wasn't busy at all. Their bakery items and brunch menu are on the higher end price-wise, but I think that also aligns with the market and location, so it makes sense. Since it was my first time there, I only ordered a couple of items to try. FOOD REVIEW Morning Bun - 5/5: My kids loved this. It reminded me of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, but in pastry form. This was so good. Almond Croissant - 5/5: The croissant itself was airy, super flaky, and really good. My kids also enjoyed this one. The pastries were packaged nicely as well. Overall, the pastries were good, so the price felt worth it to me.

You will also get offers from time to time. The app is easy to use. I ordered the strawberry soft cream cake and a slice of blueberry chiffon cake. Both cakes were very good. They were both fresh, light, and Yummy. The cake came with a cake slicer and in the slicer were some matches. I thought that was very thoughtful and useful. They included some candles, too. Most of the time, I forget those things. It was a nice surprise, they included those things. Wonderful service! It's the thoughtful little things that make a business standout than all the rest. I've tried a variety of their pastries and desserts. They all pretty good. I really like their strawberry cream croissant. I think that one is my favorite. Every time I visit the store, it's clean and the staff are very nice.

Even though they were still open for several more hours, it looked like only about 25% of their usual offerings were available. The item we were most hoping for, garlic croissant, was sold out along with the custard and red bean breads. Part of that is on us for stopping by later in the day and not calling ahead, but I did expect a bit more restocking with so much time left before closing. That said, what we ended up choosing from the remaining selection was still quite tasty. I just wish there had been more variety available.
