It's been awhile since I've been here but was in the area & stopped in to grab some Seniorita bread. It's so good especially when it's warm. They also have other bakery items like mochi donut & casava. Staff were friendly. The store isn't really big but sells a decent amount of bakery items. Plenty of parking.

This is a new favorite. The place is small, no places to sit. This is a pick up and go type bakery. It's bright and the kitchen takes up most of the space. The place smells delicious when you walk in. Quite a few treats were already gone when we got there, but we ordered a Bavarian malasada, a cream cheese roll up, a guava cream cheese strudel, and an apple roll up. These items were melt-in-your-mouth perfection. I'm usually not a morning eater, but I finished my treats. While I was inside, I saw they sold other items, so I also picked some dulce de leche roll up, some cream cheese roll up, and some strawberry cream cheese rolls. These will be great for dessert or a breakfast treat. Will definitely be back again to try their other offerings.

The senorita bread is so soft, sweet, delicious!! And comes out hot. The inside of the shop is small and they have other pastries to buy as well. It wasn't busy on a weekday morning but my order was ready quickly and the worker was nice

Finally made my way into Starbread bakery, after hearing so much about it. Came in early on a Saturday morning and it wasn't too busy yet, and looked around for a bit. I saw their list of popular Star bread options, but wasn't familiar with their other sweet and savory options like their donuts and baked rolls. Savory options: Pizza rolls Jalapeño roll Pretzel dog roll Empanadas The rolls were deliciousand we got there just im time, because as soon as we were ready to order a large groups showed up after us. Overall: The location made me small but they're super popular, and a local favorite.

I think this is probably the best Senorita bread in Sacramento. Served warm and soft. Yum!! It is a must try. I also tried their vegetable Lumpia. Those were good also.

Didn't realize I dropped my wallet outside the store until they kindly shipped it back to me. Thank you so much!

We stopped by Starbread Friday after Thanksgiving but we had came after their holiday hours so we couldn't get any. this isn't our first time having Starbread but it is our first time at the Roseville/Sac location. This is a special shoutout to the Starbread team because I didn't realize I dropped my wallet outside the store and they shipped it back to me, which is so incredible and speak volumes to the people here. Thank you!

Can never go wrong with senorita breads. Great for snacking, parties, or any occasions. Prices are reasonable. Service was quick. Eat them while they are hot and fresh! If you get 15+ pieces, it will come in a box. They sell other items as well such as lumpia, malasadas, croissants, etc. Plenty of parking but just be careful at it is not in the safest area :)

    Rose R.

If your going to come here for lumpia, you need to come early. They sell out fast. There's a variety of bake goods. Call if you're looking for a specific bake goods.

This place is so good. Man that bread is on point. It's super soft, hot and buttery. I was not sure what it was going to be like so I got a small bag, worst mistake of my life. . No not Fr but it went to fast and I was sad when I got to the last one. Don't be like me a get a small one get the biggest box the have, you might just want to bring a Amazon, box from home and ask them to just fill that up. It's beyond good i I am for sure going back

    Hot and fresh Senorita bread!
    Kimberly R.

I love señorita bread!! Every time I come to Starbread bakery they always have pipping hot senorita bread, sometimes the wait is less than 5 minutes for a fresh batch. The señorita bread is always so hot, fluffy, buttery, and sweet. The prices are great! I need to make it a point to try some of their other sweets or baked goods one day!

Did they change the recipe of the Senorita bread at the Mack Road location? I heard they changed it at the Natomas location and renamed it Spanish bread and it doesn't taste the same.

Yes they did! I bought some a few days ago and it's not as buttery or as sweet as I remembered.

Walking in, the line was short but the staff took a really long time servicing people. Since it's a 2hr drive from SF to Sac, you know I'm about to bulk buy. The case had a good selection but quite a few were sold out already. Everything looks really delicious but I had to control myself. Almond Croissant $7.50 - I don't remember what this tasted like so it must've been standard. Matcha Croissant $9 - Don't let the price deter you because for $9, you get a big filling croissant and it was honestly so delicious. The dipped part was like a white chocolate matcha and the inside matcha filling was so good. I don't know how but I fridged it and ate it the next day, IT WAS STILL CRISPY! This was the highlight and highly recommend getting it. Blueberry Choux $11 - This was also really good too. The blueberry filling was creamy and delicious. It tasted really fresh. Macarons $2.95 each - Standard stuff. I got a Thai coconut cream and this is a flavor I haven't seen before and recommend trying it! In summary, highly recommend trying this place. Large, very clean. All of the employees were friendly. It has a little bit of everything. It has a bakery, sandwiches, soups, stews, other items as well. They even serve an afternoon tea. I decided to go for the chicken and mushroom congee. (rice porridge.). I also got a green onion hotdog roll to take home with me. To drink, I had a green tea with lemon. The congee was amazing. A rich complex flavor. It had a little bit of ginger in it, you could definitely taste the ginger, but it did not overwhelm the rest of the porridge. The chicken was good, and for the mushroom, they used black mushrooms, which have a deeper flavor than regular mushrooms. So very good. It looked like a small bowl, but I couldn't finish it. Some came home with me, and it reheated very well. It also came with Chinese donuts to put in the porridge. Chinese donuts are a little bit different. They definitely taste like a doughnut, except they are not sweet at all. They are savory donuts, and are perfect to use as a crouton, so to speak. The green tea was very good, and they didn't overdo it with the lemon, and that hotdog roll that I had later, the pastry was delicious with just a little bit of a "chew" to it, they were definitely high-quality hot dogs, and it wasn't just green onion. They had something mixed in, I'm not sure what it was, but it didn't taste raw like green onion can. Just a great lunch. I'll be back. Thanks.

It's a small shop and there's usually a line, but they move pretty quickly and it's nice to have time to decide what you're going to order. On my last visit we picked up a couple brownies, a cookie, and one of their savory corn muffins with bacon and jalapeno. All the items are prices well, and are very fresh. I loved the brownies, especially the one with nuts. They're the perfect fudgy texture and while they're a good size, it's hard to stop eating them once you start. I recommend stopping in early for the most variety, they're the type of spot that once they run out of something it's gone for the day, and everything I've tried so far has been delicious.

My boyfriend and I finally had the time to come on a Monday (after the gym lol). We ordered a couple of items to try and I'll tell you I was full after a couple of bites and it carried me for the rest of day. We ordered jalapeño cheddar and classic sausage patty, egg, & cheese biscuit sandwich and biscuit 2 pack: blueberry and brown sugar biscuit. While picking up my boyfriend was recommended the cinnamon roll and he caved and got it! We had our pickup time at 7:30, but we showed up a little early and got our food around 7:20. There was a bit of a wait since there were some people ahead of us, so I'd recommend you going a bit earlier than your time just in case you're in a rush. We headed home to try everything. We really enjoyed the biscuits themselves as they didn't leave a dry or grainy feeling in your mouth. They had a good crust while being airy and light inside. The sandwiches were good, but they were anything crazy. Size wise it is small for the price you get, but I get it. It's all house made and fresh. We definitely think the biscuits themselves are the standout. The blueberry and brown sugar biscuits were a sweet tooth's heaven. The cinnamon roll wasn't too sweet either and had great texture and basically melted in your mouth. I never knew about midtown bakery before midtown biscuits so I would definitely come back to check out their other items, while getting those biscuits!

And the tomato jam delicious! The milk bread was amazing and the top was kinda toasty. I tried the Peachy Plum Shrub drink which is "housemade peach and plum syrup with an apple cider vinegar mixed" together. If you like that vinegar flavor - it kinda reminds me of a kombucha- it was delicious! If you don't like that flavor don't order it. We got a couple hashbrowns but TBH they reminded me of well fried Trader Joe's hashbrowns - really nothing special But still yummy. We asked for hot sauce - got a couple Cholula packets. We had already gone to a coffee place before coming here so we didn't get coffee but plenty of other people around us did. Enjoy the inside seating or the patio. The very berry pastry was my favorite. The cream was light, fresh, and had just the right amount of sweetness, and the fruit on top tasted fresh and sweet. The hash brown bread with ham and cheese was very dense and filling, making it a great savory option. I loved the self-serve pastry setup and appreciated how large the bakery selection was.
