Everyone is unfamiliar with a menu at some point, and I left that interaction feeling like my questions were an inconvenience rather than something he was happy to help with. The food, on the other hand, was great. The ciabatta sandwich is one of my favorites and is always a reason I come back. The matcha is usually amazing as well. I love how creamy and smooth it normally is with oat milk, and it's honestly one of the best matchas I've had. This time, though, it tasted much grassier and more bitter than usual, which was a little disappointing. For dessert, I tried the strawberry mousse dessert with a chocolate shell and strawberry filling. The mousse and strawberry filling were delicious, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The only part I didn't enjoy was the outer chocolate shell, which was a little too bitter for my taste and overpowered some of the other flavors. Overall, the food was still very good, but the service left a negative impression. They have some indoor and outdoor seating and it's a great date night spot or quick stop to pick up a drink and a bite. On my latest visit I popped in with some friends and we ordered some of their desserts and a loaf of bread. I took home a chocolate mousse cake and it was both beautiful and delicious. Whenever I visit the staff is friendly and the food and drinks are consistently delicious and fresh.

The cherry pastry was a stunner and delicious as well with great flavor and a nice balance of sweetness. My husband wanted the Estelle Noisette and although it was good, it was my least favorite of the three. It had pleasant nutty flavors but it was a little too rich for me. In the end, the real standout was the Blueberry Choux. The cream was light and fluffy and it had just the right amount of blueberry flavor. I really liked the texture of the pastry too and how it complimented the fluffy cream. I would definitely order that one again and highly recommend it. The pastries are definitely on the pricey side, but the quality and presentation justify the cost. The interior of the shop was nice and definitely reminded me of patisseries in France. There was plenty of seating available inside but I took my order to go. I'm really glad I finally got to give them a try and while not every item was a home run for me, the Blueberry Choux alone made the visit worthwhile.
