They were pretty busy and it looks like priority are the uber eats orders, so the wait was like 20minutes to get your order inside. So as you read after repeating to please go light on the half n half, after 25 min my name is called. The Americano is white!!! I asked them to please remake it and the barista said it would be another 20 min because they were busy. He also said the order did not say light half n half. 3 other customers who heard me asking for light half n half couldn't believe it. I used to love this location before covid, new employees, they look stressed, don't smile and are not welcoming. I paid almost $6 for that drink and you can't remake it without an attitude and another 20 min wait? I'll stick to coffees made at home. When I am in So Cal, this is the only coffee place that I frequent. Starbucks is out of site and out of mind. Lol They give you what you came for... flavor and value. It's POTENT. They don't water your drink down. I am so happy that I can bring back the powder with me to Houston and I will be using it sparingly. Today was actually bad enough for me to drop my rating only a few weeks later. I'm not sure how they're deciding who's drinks to make when, but there's clearly a different system for Mobile orders than there is in store. I placed my order and showed up 7min later cuz it said ready in 10. While waiting in the store, I watched 10 people who showed up after me and ordered at the counter get their drinks first - all while the people who ordered in app kept walking in and waiting. Someone who'd walked in after me walked up to ask if their Mobile order was ready, the barista flipped something on his screen and he said "yours is next!" and the guy said "no worries, I placed it 5min ago". Worried, I thought maybe I had sent mine to the wrong store - so I walked up to ask about mine. The barista flipped his screen and said "yours is right after" - when I said I ordered 15min ago he said "sorry, we're backed up." When the drinks were finally ready 25min after I placed the order, I was already late for my class so I grabbed them and headed out in a rush. The barista yelled "UHM YOURE WELCOME" at me as I was leaving - I turned to look at him as he was rolling his eyes. For the second time they messed up my order in a really dangerous way (sometimes they charge me for a large and give me a small). I am diabetic and can only do the half sweetened/lightened coffee. I used my test strip to see that she gave me full sweetener today and it cost me a stomachache and screwed up blood sugar. Don't even bother trying to talk to the baristas here. Mmh, I don't know if it's because I'm so used to Stxbucks but, I don't really like the iced coffee at Coffee Bean at all. I don't know what it is but, it tastes very acidic for me and I even get the cold brew. To be honest, I only get coffee bean on Sunday's cause I work across the street and it's the only convenient coffee located near me. If Starbucks was closer, I'd probably go there. I'm a very basic coffee girl, I either get cold brew with a shot or, I get basic black coffee no extras. The flavor is always off to me. I think my pallet is used to the other coffee I get. I haven't tried any of their food items but, I will now since I got a gift card. Anyway, the store is always clean inside but the outside could use some help. Always parking when I go but, I go at 9am. The inside is spacious with plenty of desks and chairs if you wanna stick around to study but, the staff isn't always so nice. The people working the registers have always been really friendly but, the baristas won't even glance in your direction. It contains Roobios, Orange Peel, Black Tea, Licorice Root, Cinnamon, Cloves & Other Flavors. It comes in a decorative tin package & they change the exterior color every year. Each tea bag is in a unique flow thru pyramid design. It tastes Delicious & it's remarkably only 5 calories. You don't need to add milk or sweetener. It naturally tastes Delicious! The expiration date is that it lasts for way more than a year so you can indeed stock up. The Toluca Lake store is on the corner of Lankersheim & Riverside. It has both indoor counters with high back chairs, & individual tables & chairs as well as outdoor seating too. You can't miss the octagonal building with a black pyramid roof. It's a really cool looking building. It's a stand alone building with FREE PARKING. It share a parking lot with a small strip mall behind it with stores. I really like this location. It is very convenient for many reasons. For starters the staff is always very pleasant, so thank you for great service! There is free parking, easy in and out, wish it was drive thru but hey it works just as well. If you order ahead on the app it's an easy pick up and go. The location is just off the freeway, there is a restroom inside which is a plus if you are on a walk or just passing by. My coffee is always made how I like it and I appreciate when my cup is not full of ice which I do make sure i say "easy on ice please", if you give them instructions they will do as you ask. I also enjoy their warmed up almond croissants! Yummy. Some people complain on here about the seating outside being dirty and give them 1 star just because of that. I think that is unfair. The staff is welcoming, the coffee is great (better than 10$ starbucks coffee) but hey to each is own. There is always going to be someone ready to complain about the things that are less important.
