Visited this location twice during my stay in the Bay. I enjoyed my drink and all, but there was one particular employee there w a pissy attitude .... she had like red curly hair ... I believe her name was "Fega"?... yeah, she made my experience a not so good one, and she wasn't just being standoffish with me. God bless her co workers cause I couldn't deal with her. Remember: You are truly blessed...we are in the middle of a global pandemic. Lots and lots of people have been laid off , and you are still employed. My "regular" workplace coffee break spot! Such great energy here from the employees. While I've cut back the frequency of visits here during work, I once got to a point where the employees here were able to predict my order. Now, I'm just way too interested in changing it up all the time! They have plenty of regulars here and it's always bustling. They're also always well-stocked with food AND gift items. When I blow through here at 5:15AM I am usually too much in a hurry to park in front or even check in. Doesn't matter, they get the job done, I get my regular old cup of Bold Coffee, and I am on my way. At this time of the morning, the place is mostly empty, the service is quick, and the employees are only a little quirky service-wise. Compared to other Starbucks this location is about average. Pro's: Fast, plenty of parking in back on street for fast get-a-way, convenient to Bart. Con's: 1) Dirty equipment 4/5 times I order makes a sour cup of rancid oil coffee 2) Weak WiFi signal means you can't get online. Ever. I am Frustrated at the ambivalence of the order taker and barista when ordering my grande Americano in a personal cup ... what happened? A hint of flavored tea in my coffee - WTH? OK: I thought I'd regroup and ask for a REAL coffee replacement; so I barge into the pick-up line and try to hold back my tinged emotions on this Monday morning and sarcastically and insistently ask for another Americano. I always come here, it's on my way to work. I always forget to check in!!!! I miss my old baristas who would remember my name and my order. I wouldn't have to tell them my drink, and we would chit chat about our weekends. Now I have to repeat myself everytime I go there, some of them can't even speak English that I can understand and have to make them repeat their words. :( But now starbucks gives me incentive, 4 bonus stars everytime i go and get a frap from now until Aug 24. Really really big seating area, not nearly enough tables to fill the space. But thats good--good for those who appreciate personal bubbles. This is wonderful. I was only greeted with pleasant service, pumpkin spice latte nonfat BUT still with whip, not really an oxymoron because whip makes it AMAZING. My fiancè and I just left this Starbucks store, very lousy service from the Barista, that also happens to be the Supervisor- Katrina. I've had a long day- worked long shift to help with NorthBay fire evacuees. ALL I WANT IS A DAMN COFFEE!! My photo says it all. Soy Caramel Machiato, kids temp. She handed us a normal temp drink. I went back to the counter and asked for a kids temp, she took my cup without saying anything, opened up the lid and dumped the contents of it (did not get a new cup-but that's fine) then she took an "almost empty" container of Soy milk and heated it up. She never bothered to add more milk. She handed me my cup, and it feels like it's only half full. Went back to our table, opened the lid, took all the foam out and sure enough... half of it is just foam. Went back to the counter and asked for a manager. No manager on duty. Conveniently, Katrina is the Supervisor. I voiced out my concern, and she didn't care, she asked if I want ANOTHER drink. Her attitude sucks. She could've handed it better and without an attitude. Was not my best experience at Starbucks. The americano tasted really awful. Seemed like they didn't clean the machine or the shot was short. Had a very burnt bitter taste to the drink. With an americano drink you can pick up ooh the quality of the espresso since it's just espresso and water. I will reach out to Starbucks with my concern so they are aware. read more

I wish I could only give this place no stars, but that's not an option. I came here to redeem a free drink on my way to work. So someone who comes up after me in line gets his drinks before I do. He had 4 Frappuccinos and I brought my own cup and ordered 1 drink! I guess he is a regular because they made his drink ASAP. I watched as 2 baristas did nothing with my cup. I was getting irritated with the fact that I ordered 1 iced white chocolate mocha (which did not taste good), but I got my drink after someone behind me in line who ordered 4 drinks (not mobile order). I guess if you are a repeat customer, they take care of you right away, but if you are not, you wait until that "regular customer" gets their drinks first, even though you were in line before that person. The barista making drinks at the time (I think her name started with a "K"), took all those Frappuccino ordered and totally ignored my personal cup. And when someone else made my drink, she walked away and left it sitting there for 2 minutes! I am really disappointed with this place. I will be happy to say that I will not return here. Luckily I just redeemed a free drink, otherwise I would have asked for my money back and go to another Starbucks who appreciates any customer, and not just regulars (who apparently get extra attention). read more

This Starbucks is HORRIBLE! Warning: do NOT buy anything from app to pick up, they make it way too fast and your coffee will become watery by the time you pick it up. I complained about this and received a fresh one another day and they made it wrong so I had to wait an extra 10 mins for them to remake it. They didn't apologize nor show any respect. Review #217 - 2016 I was heading to SFO to catch my flight at 3:20 PM, but I had about 3 hours to spare so I asked my buddy, Tony, to drive to Starbucks to grab some coffee since I was running on only an hour of sleep. My nice buddy drove me around for a bit looking for this spot while I placed our order on my mobile app. I ordered my usual, a venti iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel and his venti pumpkin spice latte. When we got there, I was too lazy to walk so I asked him to go in & grab our drinks. Upon his return, I noticed that my macchiato had about an inch of syrup on the bottom of the cup (which I forgot to take a photo of since I was so tired). I've been drinking the same drink for years & never saw that much syrup; so, I decided to stir it up and took a sip. It was extremely sweet, not like an enjoyable sweet either. It left a very weird aftertaste so I went back in to ask the cashier if they could remake my drink. The barista was busy talking to another person so when the cashier told him what was wrong with my drink, he just assumed I needed extra caramel and opened up my cup, drizzled a bunch of extra caramel and handed me back the drink. I explained to him that I wanted him to remake the drink with the normal amount of syrup, just with extra caramel. I love Burlingame :). There are cute shops and the weather is great. I wanted to check out a different Starbucks location to do some work and decided to check this place out. There were some seats and a communal seating area which I went to. The baristas were very sweet too and my drink was made deliciously! I like this shopping area because there are some eateries nearby as well. You can sit outside and do some work or read and enjoy the sunshine. read more

Berenice Mora, who is a pillar of the community, was FIRED, after working for Starbucks for 16 years. She was always upbeat, hardworking, positive and loved by the customers. So 3 weeks out of this year - this is my local. What shocks me is that this place is so packed all the time even mobile ordering doesn't help you jump the line. However, they are still efficient in getting the orders out. But let me tell you something, the customers are rude about blocking the counter while they wait. You cannot even get to the counter to grab your order because people just stand there the second they place their order... wait your turn. You will hear your name. I will say that they get my order right - never burn anything when they heat it (pastries) and they are always friendly. But damn...in Atlanta when you mobile order, you just walk in and grab it. I frequent this Starbucks in the mornings, usually it has a steady flow and I must say the employees are attentive and efficient, the reason for my less than average rating is their customer service. When a mistake is made on their part they need to acknowledge it and rectify it whether it is a small or large mistake. This group here glosses over them as if it didnt happen, as a matter of fact I was trying to show pretty hispanic girl a problem and she just walked away! You cannot do that in a customer service oriented buisness. This place is down the hill from my boyfriend's house. Great location with plenty of parking. The staff here are really nice and very friendly. The cashier tried to engage in a conversation the other day and absolutely no awkwardness! I like this place because the taste of the drinks have a set consistency. Many times, be it Green Tea Latte or Java chip frap, I always leave happy. Some days I come here to study. Free wi-fi, and the crowd tends to be more quiet than the one on Broadway, Millbrae. At least you don't have to worry about loud Chinese people screaming across the store! Definitely a very busy store with lots of traffic, but I still manage to study in there with no problem. read more
