The worst coffee lid I've ever seen designed
Jason A.

Been a customer of @Starbucks for 30 years. They consistently make the experience worse. And now they're serving coffee in cups you can barely drink out of the tops. Many years of innovation on coffee lids and this is what they give us now. You drink and it spills all over. Probably saving $0.01 a cup or something and now going to lose a bunch of customers over it. I'm all done. Off to Pete's or Better Buzz in the future.

Just me..

If go 2.5 maybe 3 someday if they correctly stock items. It's truly the worst run Starbucks I've been to and it just happens to be the closest. I don't like to give low marks, but zero customer service and nothing is ever stocked. Napkins??? Hello? Sandwich's? Never unless you're there at 6am. And on top of it all, it's dirty. No thanks. Coffee at home.

Love the cute morning greetings!

I love coming into this location! There is no better feeling for me than when I come in and I'm greeted by name by Megan. It's great to feel noticed and not just like every other customer. Thank you Megan :)

Reality of trying to enjoy iced coffee with cold foam on train NEW CUP AND DOME
Rachel S.

Warning on ICED drinks. this location has gone to paper cups and lids for ICED beverages. Ordered a cold brew with light cold foam. Only option is huge dome lid. They were out of straws so I ended up with boba size straw. Of all days to be wearing a white blouse and taking the train to work. I asked if this was all of SoCal and he said no, just Carlsbad. How does one enjoy the cold foam iced coffee when drinking from a huge straw? I am not an engineer but it's clearly a product malfunction! I wanted a strong coffee and should know better to pick another place. Won't be back and I live off this exit.

This location is just trash don't bother going unless you like rude employees with your drink made wrong multiple times over. Barista Leah is as rude as they come on top of being totally unprofessional in every way. Kim is another wonder. She has been working for Starbucks someone told me 10 years and this woman can't make a drink right to save her life. I got my simple drink made wrong not once, not twice but it took her three times. I was not the only one that day. The bathroom is always dirty and the three tables inside when not in use always dirty. So, the service stinks, the place is dirty and there attitude is ridiculous. I stopped going after multiple complaints and the manager and lousy district manager Ashley did/ does nothing. Hopefully this locations fate will be the same as the Starbucks in Del Mar on 15th. Street. Its gone ! This location should close as well. Please you can seriously get coffee anywhere else don't bother with this Starbucks. I don't know how many of you have been or like the coffee shop a better buzz but it's taking over the spot of Starbucks del mar on 15th street and it seems they are slowly pushing Starbucks out at least locally and I for one love it. Will Starbucks ever be totally gone? Not likely but the more that close and the more people like Leah, Kim and Ashley loose their jobs the better for all of us. Pass up this dirty , lousy location. Outdoor seating - nice.

I've been choosing this Starbucks to meet with a friend here and there during this covid outbreak. It's super easy to get to, right off the freeway and has a ton of outdoor seating. There's always an ocean breeze, there are canopies overhead along with umbrellas and the tables are clean. I park, order by phone, pick it up and find a cozy seat to spend face-to-face time with my friends. I'm super careful these days, not really wanting to spend time in restaurants, but this suffices perfectly. My favorite drink these days (since we ARE talking Starbucks!) is the Pink Drink - with extra strawberries. It's super refreshing and so pretty. In fact, I need one today, speaking of . . . I think it's double-points day! Ha.

They were ready to accept my order right at 0500 (opening time) with big smiles. Multiple employees were buzzing around, already busy working hard. As early morning regulars walked in, the staff greeted them warmly by name. Great, friendly atmosphere. Drinks as expected. No issues, no complaints.

This is where you can usually find my Son and I on Saturday mornings. We stop by for a coffee and hot chocolate before walking the parking lot during the Cars and Coffee car show. The event is every Saturday morning just outside in the parking lot. It's fun and a great way to start the weekend off. The lines at Starbucks can be a little long because of the event but here's a little secrete, just walk a few doors down and order from the Starbucks inside of Ralph's grocery store, never any line ( shhh don't tell anyone).

The esthetic is really nice and as good as the coffee. It looks like they have seasonal offering that changes with the four seasons of the year. For spring seasonal I had a pistachio latte. I really liked what I can only assume is their in house syrup. Think Starbucks pistachio latte, but two times better. This coffee place is for those who don't do Starbucks. Vanilla flat white was just as good. I would say Carlsbad for coffee this place is a must stop.

Hiya B.U.M.S., Let's…read moreget something out of the way first: I don't like coffee. I know, I know. It's a latte to take in. My wife, on the other hand, is a total caffeine fiend. But here's the kicker--she orders her coffee plain, simple, and black. To me? It tastes exactly like every other coffee in the world. (Don't bean me, it's just the truth!) Despite my lack of enthusiasm for bean water, we recently checked out Revolution Roasters, and I figured it was time to espresso my thoughts on the place. Spoiler alert: It was a pretty brew-tiful experience. Since I'm not a coffee guy, I let my wife handle the beverage department. She ordered an Iced Cold Brew and gave it an enthusiastic thumbs up. She said it was really good, which means Revolution Roasters is definitely doing something right to keep the coffee purists happy. Now, onto my territory, the White Chocolate Scone was a hit with the wife because it wasn't too sweet. If you prefer your pastries without a side of sugar shock, this is the one for you. However, full disclosure: if you're standing there debating between this scone and the savory pot pie from the shop right across the way... I'm going with the pot pie. Sorry, scone. I also ordered the Berry & Cream Cheese Toast, which was the real MVP. Again, it wasn't overly sweet, and they nailed the ratio. There was a perfectly even, generous spread of cream cheese and berry topping. Highly recommend! Revolution Roasters is located in a super cool, market-style space filled with other neat little shops. It makes for a great, lively atmosphere. When we walked in, the line was pretty long--clearly, the secret is out. But don't let a crowd deter you! The service was incredibly smooth and helpful, and they've got the operation down to a science. Plus, despite the crowd, there was actually adequate seating for a ton of people. We didn't have to play the awkward "hover around a table until someone leaves" game. While the vibes are immaculate, there is one tiny logistical hurdle. For a coffee shop that gets this busy, there is only one bathroom. If you've just downed a large iced brew, you might have to practice some patience. All in all, Revolution Roasters ground its way into our good graces. Between the smooth service, the cool market atmosphere, and food that hits the spot, I could definitely see us filtering back in here again soon. Whether you love coffee or you're just there for the toast, it's well worth a visit!

While I waited for my order, I went next-door to See's candy. I was craving fudge. I returned about 2 to 3 minutes after my order and my order was ready. The service was great... The overall experience (staff, variety/availability, drink quality) was incredibly disappointing because I hear great things about this place. There were quite a bit of people in there, so I'm sure it's great at times. Settling for the Vietnamese Iced Coffee as 1 of our 2 drinks, sadly it was mostly ice. The drink was done in a few sips. It felt like the cup was filled with ice and then put the coffee in. Don't get me wrong, the drink was good and the coffee was strong. The other drink was the Creme Brulee Latte. If you like the sugar un-bruleed, this is the drink for you. I saw the top was torched for a few seconds, but the drink was still in the tiny sugar crystals. The coffee part is also nice and strong, though the drink is not as sweet as it sounds. Overall, lack-luster and expensive for the $7.60 - Large.

We each got to order a pot of tea, so we decided to order 5 different ones to try out more flavors together. The ones we picked were: -Jasmine orange oolong - Coconut milk green tea - Earl grey lavender - Vanilla cream -Strawberry rose champagne oolong tea My top two favorites were the jasmine orange oolong and the coconut milk green tea. The only flavor that none of us enjoyed was the strawberry rose champagne oolong tea, so when it came time for refills, we switched it to the rouge provence. For the food, there were four finger sandwiches: chicken breast, smoked salmon, cucumbers, and chopped spinach. We all liked the chicken breast one the most, and felt like the cucumbers and chopped spinach could have been combined into one sandwich for a more balanced flavor. For sweets, there was the seasonal scone, fruit tart, macaron, and donut. I loved the scone with the butter and fruit preserves, as well as the fruit tart. The service was polite, but a bit slow and we waited a while before our food arrived. There was only one person who was serving the entire afternoon tea area, so it's understandable that there's a longer wait. All in all, I would definitely come back for another afternoon tea experience!
