The young lady behind the counter explained that I order at the counter, the menus were stacked by the register, and then can choose my table. The young lady was so friendly with a smile that lights up the room. I ordered Eggs Benedict with a large orange juice, and was offered 3 meat choices, bacon, ham or sausage, or all three. I decided to live a little and chose all 3. I paid for my meal and she was absolutely clear that tipping is completely optional, I really appreciated that. So many places with far below par service have come to expect tips. I was given a table marker and sat myself at a small round table by the window. Within a minute or so, another young lady brought my orange juice in a disposable cup. A few minutes after that, my breakfast was brought to the table. The sausage, ham, and bacon were all on top of the English muffins with poached eggs on top of that. Hollandaise sauce was slathered across the entire plate, it was luxurious! There were not potatoes included, but that is fine, as with the three meats it was very satisfying. I judge breakfast spots on how well they make Eggs Benedict, as not every place does it well, L'grande knocked it out of the park! The eggs were perfectly poached, not too runny. Every bite of my breakfast was incredible!!! This hidden gem in Casa Grande knows what they are doing and I sincerely look forward to returning and trying other menu options. The dining area is pretty small, so if you're here with family, it's best to get your ice cream to go unless you're lucky enough to get the four seat bar or sole four seat table. There are only two double seat tables. The customer service is fantastic, and there's a good selection of ice cream (though they were out of cones not even before noon), so you could buy waffle bowls (plain, orange, chocolate dipped, or chocolate dipped with sprinkles). I ordered the Birthday Cake Remix with chocolate in the dipped waffle cone and added caramel syrup. My husband ordered Mocha Cookie Latte, and the kids ordered Oreo overloads. The ice cream is very rich, and I barely managed to finish my bowl. I'm actually not supposed to have dairy, so I'll probably regret this later, but it was quite delicious. While eating at the bar, everyone came in and out with huge smiles on their faces. It's nice to see so many families coming in with their children. My only complaint is that it's hard to find napkins, which turned out to be on the serving counter. The problem is that you have to squeeze between people in line to reach them, so just a heads up to grab those first instead of trying to get them later.
