Crappy Starbucks left the target next door at 812pm and went to this location. Doors locked and said you could only use the drive thru. When I looked at the hours the store said it closed at 830pm on Friday. Will not be returning to this Starbucks again. We walked in at about 6:30 PM last night, 10/21, to order a coffee, sandwich, and use the restroom. The restroom was horribly dirty! I didn't want to use it, but the other was occupied. Awful, big, dark brown ring around the underside of the toilet bowl stains, that were the worst I've ever seen at any Starbucks! Anywhere! About 4 inches wide, deep dark brown, like really bad rust, around the underside of the whole toilet bowl. Also, the floor was very dirty. How does a Starbucks operate like this? I've never seen such a filthy toilet in a dining establishment. To finish off our experience at this location, one of the two fellas working there was mopping the front area, wet mopping wax all over the floor in front of both doors, so we couldn't leave. We had to sit a few minutes for the wax to dry enough so that we could walk out without slipping. We both have wax all over our sandals, and were lucky not to have slipped. I have worked in retail for years, and one of the cardinal rules is that you NEVER, EVER, mop and wax the entire floor in front of the doors, while customers are walking in and out! There was no 'watch out for wet floor, sign up, or anything. I was petrified that a little old lady would walk in, and slip and fall on the wax, hitting her head, and or breaking a bone or two, or three. Very bad, Starbucks! Deplorable! Unhealthy, unsafe conditions! Please talk to the employee asap, that was waxing and mopping the floor last night, as we were getting our drinks and attempting to leave the store, which we couldn't do, before someone slips and breaks a bone, and you have a lawsuit. And please talk a look at your toilet bowl in the far right restroom. It's horrible! I always love Starbucks, but this was ridiculous. read more

I wish 0 stars was an option! The employees are RUDE! Got there 14 minutes before closing and they saw me walking up to the door and began to lock it anyway! I said according to your hours, you should still be open. They said "sorry we're closed, we'll be open tomorrow at 5am" which I thought was more rude than locking the door in my face. I was tired from a 12 hour work day & needed the coffee then and there, not at 5am. Who knows if they were even open at 5am!! Evidently they just open & close whenever they want & not in compliance with their advertised hours. I was hesitant to go to this location in the first place because the girl had a bad attitude the last time I had gone! I understand Sometimes Starbucks is noisy & The wind blower at the drive thru window makes it difficult to hear customers but that doesn't mean they should be rude! The barista couldn't hear my order, put her marker down, not making any eye contact and said rather aggressively "what?! I can't hear anything you're saying, you're going to have to speak up." Not "I beg your pardon" or "I'm sorry, I didn't hear the whole order, can you please repeat it?". This type of behavior and attitude in this industry is bad for business. Trust me, I know.. I manage two of the most successful businesses in the city, one of which is a 4.6 star rated restaurant on OpenTable. The Starbucks on the corner of date palm & Ramon is worth the drive. They are actually open during the posted hours & are much more friendly. read more

I've been drinking Starbucks coffee since I moved to Palm Springs a year ago. The last few weeks I switched Starbucks locations and they just can never get it 100% right. They always seem to forget the sweetener. The location at Sunrise and Ramon definitely has one up on them. I also find the staff to be much friendlier at Sunrise. read more

Visited on a Wednesday about 11:00 am. Not too busy, fairly quick service. Unfortunately I was served an ice milk with a splash of coffee instead of ice coffee with a spash of milk. When I asked for a correction I was told that the drink had "recently changed". I stated that for the last five years in Los Angeles I have ordered this 2 or 3 times a week. Again I was told that the recipe had recently changed "for this region". What? No B.S., are you telling me a drink at Starbucks in Palm Springs is going to be different from one in Los Angeles. I seriously doubt that and I don't know how he could have misunderstood my point. To top it off I ordered a venti and was given a grande. I was charged for a grande so I did not say anything. I put the drink down on the counter and told the barista she could keep in and as I turned around to leave she asked if she could fix it. My coffee had been sitting at the pickup bar for quite awhile. I brought this up to a manager today. Just suggesting maybe not to over promise and under deliver. I love this starbucks location its my fav in the valley. I always order the venti matcha green tea Frappuccino with no wip cream; they alway seem to make it delicious. They must be very precise with the recipe. The staff is always friendly and professional. Great job guys!!!! read more

We visit the area several times during the year. And we go to various coffee places as well. This Starbucks at least during our visits really has a very good crew of folks working. The manager (we didnt get her name) really seems to be on it when it comes to getting things right as much as possible. In our case, last weekend-we ordered an everything bagel to go. By the time our order was up, they were out of this type of bagel. She asked us if we wanted another variety and we said yes. Then upon paying the manager, she gave us a store credit for the price of one bagel. Very much expected and a touch of class in these days of rush rush customer service. horrible starbucks! I was stuck in the drive thru today for over 10 minutes...behind one car at the window. I actually called to store from my car and asked what the hold up was and the girl said they had an "accident" and it would be a while. I asked her to tell the car in front to pull to the side so I could leave and she wouldn't. she said I needed to ask the people behind me to back up, all 8 cars......... she got her manager on the phone who said there was nothing they could do and I had to just wait. Obviously this guy was NOT trained in customer service nor in how to manage his employees. After sitting another few minutes I honked my horn and the manager came out and told me I had to stop - I will never go near this place again, and from all the reviews here, this is not a one time experience, Starbucks corporate has a big problem in Cathedral City. read more

Last time I give these people a chance! Drive up took 15 minutes with only one car ahead of me in the entire line. It took them 5 minutes to even respond to the speaker for that car's order. Waited forever at the window for my warmed up sandwich. Total of 15 minutes in line for no good reason. I was given the order and drove off. Of course it was the wrong order. Returned to the store and went inside. One young lady was paying for here order ahead of me, that was it. THREE baristas behind the counter talking to her, nobody to help me. The conversation was about personal stuff, not the order. It went on and on for five minutes with me standing there. I had to finally interrupt and demand my sandwich be replaced. Don't patronize this place. I am a 70 year old woman. I needed to use the restroom and then wanted to order a coffee. They have a code that needs to be entered there. I told the girl I want to order a coffee but I NEED to use the restroom first. She could tell I was in pain. She did not care. She made me order the coffee, pay for it, THEN I had to beg her to give me the code! She RELUCTANTLY gave it to me. I looked conservative and well groomed and was very kind. This person was horrible. I tell everyone that this is the best Starbucks in the valley! They are ridiculously fast in the mornings. I've seen them blow through a full drive thru in 5 minutes. I go here multiple times in the week and they never mess up my orders either. I'll go out of my way to go to this one rather than the other ones that are soooo slow! read more

The only bad thing I would say is you probably aren't going to get what you want in the drive-thru. Ask for a "little milk" in your cup of coffee, and you will get a "little coffee" in your cup of milk. Other than that, the staff is wonderful and service is great and always fast. read more

Ahhh Starbucks. I visit various locations on a regular basis, and this one has got to have the absolute friendliest drive thru employees who also happen to be the absolute slowest drivethru employees! I know they must be busy inside and have limited machines to make specific drinks, but I have waited in this drive thru line for almost 20 minutes on more than one occasion. You are probably better off walking inside. As annoying as it is to wait in a drive thru line for so long, it's hard to be upset when they are so very friendly once you get to the window. read more

My husband and I went to this location and got our regular iced chai with soy. The start to a perfect Saturday after a hard week's work. We drove out of the driveway and I took a nice big sip...tasted great. After the third sip my stomach started cramping and I had to stop somewhere to use the bathroom. My husband tasted mine and said that my drink was creamier than his. I tasted his...it was made with soy. Mine wasn't. It did say soy on my cup and my receipt. Went through the drive thru and sat for 15 minutes with only one car in front of me get to the window and watched as my order sat there for another 4 minutes then was asked what my order was.
