Like most people I enjoy a little café from time to time. This location is close to my house but I rarely go here because the parking is really bad due to many businesses in this strip mall. That being said I go here occasionally as a back up to my normal location. I ordered a triple shot of Espresso with splash of heavy cream. They forgot the cream. It was a mobile order so I grabbed it and left. Got to the car drove off, picked up the cup to enjoy my tasty beverage but to my surprise it was not so tasty. There was no splash of heavy cream. I came to this Starbucks to finish up some work. I was a bit famished, so I ordered their new BBQ beef brisket sandwich and a green tea. The sandwich was pretty good. It had generous amounts of cheese and a good amount of meat. The sandwich tasted as it should, and was pretty filling. I sipped on my tea and drank water from their dispenser while I finished up my work. This location has many students posting here to do their work, as well as elders just enjoying a hot cup of joe and taking in the environment. To the Manager of the Starbucks at 11401 South St. Cerritos CA 90703: Since you and your staff allow homeless people to use your washrooms, please make sure they are sufficiently clean for your customers to use. On several occasions, customers cannot even use the washrooms; because homeless people literally stay inside the washrooms for an unreasonable amount of time to wash themselves and their clothes, in addition to relieving themselves. If you yourselves see how filthy and disgusting your bathrooms are, how can you even use them yourselves? Unless of course, you choose to use other store's nearby. This is my go to starbucks. It does get crazy in the afternoons and i always find myself waiting to find an open seat. Often times, large groups of students are studying and there are some business guys talking real estate. it's hard not to hear what they're saying bc they all talk so loud. What i love about this particular Starbucks is that the employees are nice and they make my drinks well. Another thing is that beautiful foutain that is right outside. I do enjoy the ambiance and the restrooms are clean. I did notice the barista seemed quite flustered and it was evident she wanted to go home, but I know you can't take things as such personally. However attitude and customer service is everything in the food business. I did appreciate the manager Hugo for his sincere reconciliation after I dealt with such a passive aggressive barista but on the other hand I do indeed appreciate Starbucks for its hospitality and coffee shop experience. Was in the area and needed to kill an hour, so I stopped here at 10am. It was crazy packed on a Friday morning. Most of the seats were taken inside and there were only a couple of tables open outside. Service was fast an the crew was friendly. Parking is usually a nightmare in this plaza, but I was able to grab a parking spot fast and close. The wifi here extends out pretty well outside, so I was able to leach off the wifi. Just left this Starbucks. Here's some advice. Treat people the way you want to be treated. The white female barista a little heavy set was rude. She did say hi but it was her tone that gave off an ugly vibe. With her back turned talking to me and her coworkers. No eye contact what so ever. You know, I would really like this Starbucks location more if it wasn't for the gosh awful parking lot. There have been times when I've come to visit and have had to circle and vulture people for a spot only to end up getting so frustrated and leaving. Ugh! 1. Today, January 11 around 2:30pm we went in. I asked for a Hot green tea venti. And the girl went in the back to check what teas they had. Immediately I realised I should have been more specific, since I meant the Matcha version (powdered), not the tea bag. She went back after a minute and I apologised because it was my mistake of telling her the wrong type of drink. She said "It's okay" but clearly felt pissed that I said the wrong thing and that I made her go in the back, as if that was too much effort. She said it with a slight attitude. 2. I used the restroom. It smelled like a new york subway restroom. It smelled so bad, and there was no tissue paper. Thought this was checked hourly. 3. We got a Venti Green Tea Latte with Soy. It was watery. Barely any flavour. Not enough scoops of matcha I'm assuming. Because I made drinks that had less scoops before and it tasted exactly like that. Maybe old day dots... Love this Starbucks over other Starbucks in the area! The drive-thru on Woodruff & Del Amo is cool too but sometimes they take a little long to make a drink! All of the staff is super friendly and my drink always tastes superb. That's why I come to this Starbucks over others -- their drinks TASTE the way they should. That's important. In the surrounding neighborhood this is probably one of the bigger Starbucks; I like it for that reason. The Starbucks has more of the desks/tables equipped as charging stations then does those of the surrounding Starbucks'. That's definitely a plus. They also have a pretty big outside area with some tables and chairs; my kids like to this location because they like the fountain out there. My only qualm with this Starbuck's is that everyone else must like it too because it is always busy. To get a table that has a charging station rarely happens for me because they're usually already taken despite the number of them in the store. My kids of course don't mind this- outside we go! I come to this Starbucks pretty often before work. parking is usually pretty difficult but that's because it's in a busier plaza. There's one employee in particular that I wanted to write about. Her name tag says her name is Jess. Every time I come in while she's working she always greets everyone with a smile and is super attentive and sweet. I work in customer service so I know things can get stressful and exhausting but she's always so kind even during their rushes.
