This Starbuck's location is conveniently located on Maple between Nash and Douglas. The plaza is a short distance from many office buildings. My coworkers and I frequently walk to this location during our afternoon break. Sometimes it can get busy and might take sometime, but most of the time it's not too bad. As with any Starbucks drink quality is dependent on the barista who made the drink. So the drinks are usually hit or miss. However, I enjoy the afternoon walks. It's great to get out of the office of a little bit and grab a coffee to keep me awake the rest of the day! Currently they are celebrating their 40th anniversary with 50% off Frappuccino Happy Hours. Not impressed...want a Panera closer. Paid almost $5 for a cappuccino that was about 1/3 coffee and 2/3 foam. Asked them to redo it. Manager remade it with 1/2 foam. Lived in Italy...definitely not how we make it there. I can live with a little foam on top as they are supposed to be...but half foam? Did the price of coffee double or something? What's with being so tight on the amount of coffee? Bought a sausage muffin, then was told that they were out. Rather than substituting due to their error, the manager had them run my card again (only had ham) for the $.30 difference...because they were out of what I ordered. I'm pretty laidback but couldn't deal with the manager's attitude any more and asked him if he was ok. He said not to mind him he was just coming down with something. I've worked in the service industry, and that's a cop out. Won't be going back. I usually take my team their at least once a week...not any more. Panera is worth the drive. read more

A story: I called in my traveler cup order early in the morning to be ready at 8:30. I (a minority) arrived at 8:50. I waited in line and asked if my traveler was ready. The first barista said that I had to wait because they weren't ready. Then I asked, I thought I called my order in earlier to be picked up at 8:30? They said that they were busy, so they made me still wait while another (white) man got TWO travelers and I'm pretty sure he just showed up to get his order. I really like the vibe here. Everyone who works here seems to be really friendly and generally like working there. It's a pretty busy Starbucks in the corner of a busy plaza next to a few casual restaurants. There's a large area with tables outside with umbrellas for shade. I've always come in the afternoon and it's a bit messy. Also I've gotten really burnt coffee here before. Maybe it was because I just got their pikes and it was probably sitting there all afternoon. I don't recommend you get that in the afternoon but otherwise I really like this location. read more

Let's face it, we are not going to Sbux for the quality coffee and well-crafted drinks. We are going because of ubiquity and SPEED. Avoid this location, if you are looking for people who work with urgency. The service is sloooooowww, like molasses. I often have to leave and go to Noah's, since I can only be away from work for so long. During the lunch rush there is usually only one person taking orders and ringing, and one person actually making the drinks. Don't get me wrong. I love Starbucks and most locations would receive at least four stars from me. The members of the staff at this Starbucks were all very nice, but something about my experience was just...off. Maybe it's the fact that this location is surrounded by a business park, or that it's insanely CLEAN inside, but it felt as though I needed to be dressed up in order to feel welcome to get my coffee here. I frequent this location a few times a week and the customer service is always impeccable. The staff are amazing, friendly, and helpful. My drinks are always perfect and the friendly staff always assists me when I want to try something new (especially on a budget.) Special mention to Laura who is the manager. Shame on me for giving this location multiple do-overs. This location has to be, by far, the worst Starbucks I've ever given my money to. Starbucks recently focused on "sensitivity training" but really needs to focus on it's customer service training. It's not like the drinks are inexpensive. We know we pay through the nose for the convenience of having someone else prepare our drinks. The staff might want to be reminded of that. Hell, if I wanted to have my coffee made with contempt, I'd go visit my ex-mother-in-law for breakfast. Let's just focus on the final straw... Placed a mobile order at 7:31. Per app, my order should be ready prior to 7:40. However, as per the usual at this location, I was going to hold my breathe. Arrived at the location at 7:42 and my food was ready. No biggy,we can wait...a bit. 7:45 1st drink ready. When grabbing the latte I saw the Frappucino sitting in the blender, but didn't want to assume it was ours, though I kept a close eye. In the meantime I tried to get their attention, but they were clearly ignoring and not looking up. Though I swear I could hear the squeak from the eye rolls. 7:50 barista making hot drinks asked another barista if that was their Frap. She knew it was more than likely mine. 7:52 Frap poured into cup and left with barista at hot counter. 7:55 we were given the Frap with the biggest serving of attitude. The Frap had been sitting so long it was basically melted, but we didn't have the time to ask for it to be remade. This has been the constant pattern at this location with the morning crew. Do yourself a solid...go elsewhere. There's Philz, Coffee Bean and another Starbucks on Rosecrans. 3 locations that have been fairly solid on their mobile order timing. I work in the area and will often come to this Starbucks for an afternoon pick-me-up. This location tends to get A LOT of foot traffic. Lines can get very long in the afternoon, and some of the baristas are on the slow side. The baristas are mostly friendly and recognize the regulars. This location has wifi, wireless charging, a handful of tables, and a shared parking lot. If you're in a hurry, I recommend ordering in advance through the Starbucks app. read more

Usually drinks and food come out pretty fast, been coming here for years and main staff that have been there for years are great. Never had a problem with the long term staff, and new staff have been great as well. The only problem with this place is the pick up counter, it'll be mixed with current drinks and mobil order drinks, so it's sometimes have to go through it to see if my order was done, or i have to ask and bother a barista while they're making drinks as it's sitting in the back area. It's not their fault, but a split counter with one side mobile and one side of current orders would be a little easier. The worker Sarah was rude and arrogant. I have been this location for almost 2 years and always ordered more than 6 cups of coffee almost everyday. Since i had so many cups of coffee my office ppl asked if I could write their names on the top of the all the caps. Sarah not only didn't want to lend me her sharpie but told me to bring my own pen next time. She was yelling and cursing at me for like 10 min while all the customers were looking at her like she was insane. She was extremely unprofessional and not trained for the customer services. These women and men take the time to get to know their customers and are at the ready to ask you about your day and make it that much better by providing you with a cup of Joe or what have you. This is probably the most wildly inconsistent Starbucks I've ever been to. While they can get really busy, due to being one of the only coffee options nearby, the quality of service stays pretty random even when it's quiet in the afternoon. I've ended up with a chai tea late done as a late with chai powder and an americano that seemed to have mocha powder in it to name the most notable creative drink recipes. Don't get me wrong, I've ended up with well made drinks too, but Starbucks is supposed to be about the consistency. You go to any store, you know what you're going to get. read more
