Great place for a morning coffee and breakfast run. Stopped here on the way to Maryland Soccer Complex for a lacrosse tournament. Close to the Rio area we were staying in, and very friendly staff. Ordered a cold brew, caramel latte, and vanilla bean Frappuccino on top of a bagel and a couple breakfast sandwiches for the family. Everything was perfect. read more

The most laziest Starbucks employees work here! Forget about mobile ordering here and check your drinks before leaving. So a colleague of mine went to pick up our drinks, I ordered an iced London fog and what I got was some nasty ass unsweetened tea with milk. Then to make matters worse our mobile order wasn't ready when it was suppose to be over 10 minutes ago. Was the store busy? Was there a mobile order surge that they were so backed up? Noooo. What happen was the employees were talking to the cops. Just chilling. I have nothing against them. Majority of my friends are cops (;. So the male employee made the drinks and 45 minutes later my colleague returns to us with our drinks. My next visit here... I kid you not! Same shit! WTH! Mobile order not ready. Because they are talking to the men in blue... Then I get some ditzy blonde with an attitude and says I'll make your drink now as if she granted me a wish. I hope when they close the stores for training that the do a 360 on customer service in addition to stop the racial profiling on who can use their restrooms. read more

Very convenient to go to this Starbucks!!! Usually on my way back from the office, I pass by this location. Have gone to this place regularly for the Starbucks Happy Hours after 3:00 PM, for their Frappuccino and Macchiato special deals. Mostly had great ordering experiences. Just a couple of times, it took a long time to get 2 drinks because of too many people and only 1 person making the drinks. The other odd experience was when there were very weird people loitering around, inside and out of the coffee shop. Otherwise, will continue to drop by this location from time to time. read more

I really like this Starbucks. It has outdoor seating, the indoor looks very old fashioned and cozy, the place is warm and inviting and the baristas know what they are doing. I like sitting on their big sofas sometimes, but then I also like getting their side tables near a wall charging point so I can some work done. I have spent a lot of hours working here, while munching on my fav tomato cheese square (which they never run out of) and sipping on my fav hot or cold beverage. They will take my uber complicated orders in their stride and make sure I like what I get. What I also like it they have a little compliments book near the bar area so you can put in suggestions and comments. All the latest entries were full of holiday joy, it was awesome! :) I do feel that a lot of parents with kids seem to visit this place. Kids are cute, but then depending on my mood (and if I am trying to get work done), that can be borderline annoying, haha :) So overall, great Starbucks to hang out, get a drink and chill or get some serious work done! read more

I am a regular at Starbucks. This is not the one I typically visit and will not visit again. It is so poorly run that I am astonished. I ordered and sat near the location of the delivery area. Never did I hear my name, my item, or my drink called. I noticed several others did not receive their items either and several were as frustrated as I was. I walked up to see if one of the items was mine and was aggressively told no by the two girls behind the counter and they even questioned wether I had actually ordered a drink. Then watched the drink sit for five minutes....then walked up again and magically this time it was mine! No apology or anything....just an eye roll. This location is on my way to work. My first visit resulting in Jeremy helping me create an amazing Salted Caramel drink (without the mocha because it's yucky) even when they are busy Jeremy is pleasant. Upon my arrival this morning Jeremy even greeted me by name! This is only my 3rd visit to this particular location, so I was very impressed. The overall experience he provides for the customers and the employees is awesome. Give Jeremy a raise! P.S ~ I was sad Starbucks did not have the awesome new purple, mermaid sequin tumbler in stock at this location but the staff was still really helpful in looking for one for me! read more

The people who work here have bad attitudes. I always seem to get a register person who is grumpy, too good for the job, tired, or just doesn't understand what I am saying. I've also received some terrible drinks. If I am going to pay $5+ for a drink, I want it to be good...or even great. The past few times I have gone in here, they were out of coffee and I had to wait for it to brew. Having worked for the company years ago, for 3 years, I am quite a Starbucks snob. BUT, there is no excuse for barista's who are just generally mean. Get over yourselves. The only thing I like about this Starbucks is their Patio....though its usually littered with kids, if I drive by and see it empty and the weather is nice, I'll sit out there with my laptop. read more

This is always the last stop I make before heading back from my in-laws' place in Potomac back to good ole' Cleveland, because there are pretty much no easily accessible Starbucks between DC and Pittsburgh (I don't take the PA Turnpike though.) It's a pretty good Starbucks--for whatever reason, I tend to wind up getting extra shots of espresso here for free. This is a nice surprise considering that Starbucks typically does its absolute best to avoid giving anything away for free or providing any type of discount. Also, the drinks also tend to be strong even without extra espresso. This is gross, but for a long time, the men's bathroom at this place was ALWAYS locked no matter how long I waited. I don't know why, considering I waited as long as Penelope waited for Odysseus for someone to leave the bathroom so that I could use the bathroom designed for the male gender. Unfortunately, this never happened, and I would have to sneak clandestinely into the female restroom in order to do my business before hittin' the road. So, if you're a male, you might wanna hit up the lavatory at your domicile before coming here! read more

I feel compelled to write this considering one of the two previous 'bloggers' before me. I live less than a mile from here and this is my first choice for coffee in the area. EVERY time I go here the ppl are down right friendly and incredibly helpful. There is one employee in particular...he is flat out...AWESOME!!! He remembers customers after one time and knows how to make someone feel welcome. If anything, I come back because of him. Just wish I knew his name, so I could give him credit where credit is deserved. Customer service is top notch. Out of the 568 starbucks in the 3 mile radius, I'll go with this one. I found this Starbucks last year and it is my preferred Starbucks to stop at in the Gaithersburg area for my morning coffee or for a iced tea and sandwich at lunch, even if it is out of my way. There is one barista in particular - my all time favorite - that makes the best soy mocha I've ever had. What a breath of fresh air. This Starbucks is quiet, service is great and it's spacious than some of the other nearby locations.

I ordered an iced Carmel cloud macchiato and the barista made a regular iced Carmel macchiato. I ordered a venti on the mobile app and had left before noticing it was wrong not to mention I still had to wait for my drink to be made 10 minutes after ordering and was late to my destination. They had several customers sitting in the store with no masks on and when I asked the employee about it he said they're allowed to if they are eating, but none of the customers had any food in front of them one of them didn't even have a beverage. I am in here allllll the time. I mean like 3-5 days every week. I'm that girl that shows up to her job late every day holding a Starbucks cup and I'm not even mad about it. A girls gotta have her coffee, especially working in hospitality lol. Anyway, I love this Starbucks. I've been coming here for the past few months so everyone's starting to remember me and I love it. It makes my visits even more fun. (Hey guyssss, I'm grande red eye, room for cream) Everyone is always so nice and fast and on point. Even when they get busy, watching everyone run around helping each other is like watching a well oiled machine run. It's awesome. What a good team. I frequent Starbucks... A LOT! This location is in the same shopping center as the Veterinary Hospital I manage so I tend to go here multiple times a week... This is BY FAR my favorite location I've gone to. The staff is super friendly and they always remember what I order. This location feels like a local coffee shop vs a chain because there seems to be regulars who the staff always remembers and talks to! They also have a book you can write notes to the baristas (They're all fantastic!) It just feels more personal than most starbucks stores I have been in. They now have the order from the app feature and I tried it for the first time today.. what would you know, I was met at the door with my order when they saw me coming! I cannot say enough good things about this place and the baristas!!! read more

This is the best Starbucks I have found in the area. I moved here recently, and in my old neighborhood, I would frequent several Starbucks. Here, I stop at this store every morning. The staff is wonderful - friendly, cheerful, and accommodating. The coffee comes quickly and it's always fresh. This is one of the few Starbucks that has never messed up my order. My yoga studio is across the parking lot and this is a gret place to go after a workout. The staff are outstanding, regardless of the time of day. They don't rush you while you place your order, they are friendly and they are FAST! One woman in particular, Aria, is a gem. She is the sweetest, most thoughtful person and takes a genuine interest in each client for the short time that she interacts with them. She is a GEM! I actually ran into her at the Potomac Starbucks today and we had a really nice chat while we waited for our drinks. This place gets an A+ as far as I am concerned. read more

The only reason I took off one star was the price. I rarely go to Starbucks as it is because of the high prices but I had a gift card. I ordered a caramel macchiatto and 2 sandwiches for $20. The sandwiches were small which is why I ordered 2. I got a chicken sandwich which was yummy and a bacon, egg, and cheese croisant (sp?). The breakfast sandwich was no better than what you can get at McDonald's much cheaper. The server barely understood what I was saying and I speak clear english, but apparently she didn't. My favorite part was that they were playing Christian music, which surprised me. My order came out fast and accurate. It was busy but I was able to find a seat. It was clean. I willl only be returning if I have a gift card. Prices are way too high for what you get. read more

Ok, so I've been tired of Starbucks for quite a while now, and this just made me remember why I shouldn't go back. Ordered an Americano. It was just bitter, bitter, bitter. Granted americano's aren't meant to be sweet or anything, but for some reason it was a lot more bitter than the taste I'm used to..... also not the best service. I frequent several Starbucks locations within a 10 minute drive distance on weekly basis. This location remains my favorite. As a stand-alone location where people pickup-and-go, besides the expected inflow rush hours, you can find a seat most of the time and work uninterrupted. What makes this location special are the baristas. They are friendly, remember customers drinks, and make them quickly and accurately. They spend time catch-up with repeat customers. The working dynamic between the baristas is a bar higher than other location I've frequented. They chat and joke like sisters at times. I think the manager does a great job finding the right personality mix, and created a pleasant working atmosphere, and that dynamic translates well in the manner which the baristas interact with the customers, and as a result, you see a lot of repeat faces, mine included. read more

Let me start out by saying I love this location! It's never super packed, very close to my job and I've been here on multiple occasions. I've never had any problems before, I've actually had superb service every other time I've been to this particular location. But today, I was surprised when I got my drink. I don't ever really examine my drink and today was no exception when I got it. I got my drink, which was left on the counter by the barista (she was having a very important convo I guess) and left. I started to sip my drink and noticed it tasted significantly different than every other time I've had it. Like I said, I favor this location and they never mess up my drink! But this particular barista, is why I've given this place 4 (almost 3) stars. She gave me a drink with spoiled milk! When I finally looked at my cup I saw bits of milk chunks floating around! I didn't think the milk was spoiled considering the vanilla flavoring covered the subtle sourness. I was so upset. This won't stop me from going to this location but, rest assured I will be looking at all my drinks and might not get anything if that barista is there. read more
