I have never been a fan of Starbucks, mainly because I dont like fads, dont need to be "seen" and appreciate good value. Why would I buy 2 ice teas here, when I can go across the parking lot and buy 7 ice teas of equal size, and are refillable? Obviously, I think differently than most Americans. Starbucks has been around a long time now and would not be considered a fad. I have been in this location twice this month. I think it's better than the average Yelp rating of 3. I find it irritating that there has to be a discussion when I order a medium or large, but I accept that's pretty much my problem for not jumping on the bandwagon and learning their language. I find this location clean and friendly. I enjoy the nice covered outdoor patio. But it was over 100 degrees today, so here is my one star removed "beef". There were only 14 customers inside, and we had no place to sit! It's a big location. They could use a few more tables and chairs. Oh, one more thing. I was astonished to be asked to leave at 6pm on a Sunday. I thought Starbucks never closed. But it is Glendora! I will be back. It's a good place to meet for business puposes. read more

This location can't ever get orders out efficiently. I will place my orders 10-15 minutes ahead of time and yet with guarantee I'll walk in and my order hasn't even been started even to the point where they'll see the frustration in my face and ask for the name on my order. I'll visit other locations where you see and sense the sense of urgency by the staff, you don't get that here. I don't know if every shift is this bad but the early morning crew is terrible. read more

When I'm in town I get Starbucks at least 2x a day. 1 in the am 1 in the evening before heading back to the hotel. I don't know why the baristas at this Starbucks just can't get an order right, but I'm done with them. 3x wrong order is way to much. Considering how frequently I have orderd here, it shouldn't be that hard. And the staff is RUDE. They should clean house and start over with quality baristas and get rid of the rats. A chain coffee joint that has become sooooo huge that there are two Starbucks are in the SAME shopping center. Annoying. And Im not much of a coffee drinker unless its packed with cream, and sugar, and flavored syrups, and chocolate shavings. Yet I can't justify DRINKING that many fat grams and calories. My weight gain should be earned with solid food that takes chewing, So why have I ever come here? I CANNOT stop the influx of Starbucks gift cards I get. They are coming out of my ears! Stop it please! Get me gift cards for bars with alcohol, non-chain restaurants, or clothing places! But I have the gift cards, so I get some tea and use the wi-fi for a bit (if you can find a seat). I've been coming here every day for years considering my daughter goes to school around the corner, It started off very good. In and out super fast, drink were always made perfect, service with a smile and great attitude! Colette has always been amazing, she friendly gets to know all her customers personally while still banging out drink after drink. Since Colette has not been there as much anymore it has became a horrible zoo in there. They have cut there staff extremely, i went in the other day to only 3 people working there and the line was too the door. I have waited up to 50 minutes for a plain coffee. I've got cold coffees, i've got a cup of coffee with an inch of grounds at the bottom, i've gotten excuses that they never received my order. Since they have cut there staff and hired some new guy who is always there, it has become a nightmare! Every single order i've ordered with him at the register has been wrong. At first i had patience considering her was new, but he has been there a couple months now and its just as bad, and just as slow. Its obvious that this place is losing its regular customers and you can see why. BRING COLETTE BACK!!! FYI, if your coming here make sure you have time to spare. Mobile order or register order. It takes a long time no matter if there busy or not, and dont expect service with a smile. How many times can they mess up my order? I asked for a venti acai got a grande. Asked for a maple muffin, got no muffin, the girl didn't charge me. Asked for a grande caramel macchiato hot with extra shot which I paid for and got an iced latte. I didn't have time to complain bc I was already there waiting 20 mins and barley made it to work on time. Attention to detail is a must and I will never go back to this store! If you're in a hurry... this is the last place you want to "try" to get a cup of coffee, snack or anything else for that matter. I frequent multiple Starbucks as I work on the road throughout So Cal and unfortunately this is by far and consistently the most inefficiently run store I've ever been in. Most Starbucks locations run with some obvious signs of teamwork and get you in and on your way with usually little hang ups. But in this store whether you're the only car in the drive thru or place a mobile order ahead of time or even just walk up and place an order, be assured your time is the last concern for this non-team. Consideration for time is not a concept managed from this location. My time has been wasted for the last time at this store. Time to move on. read more

Uhh. So I go there this afternoon and ordered a grande iced coffee with two shots of espresso, 1 pump pumpkin spice and light soy. I know it sounds high maintenance but usually it's not a problem. I used to work at Starbucks, and complicated drink orders are par for the course. So the barista says "one pump vanilla..." "Oh, did I say vanilla? I meant pumpkin spice," I said, trying to be nice but knowing I said it right the first time. So she says ok. I get my drink, take a sip and WTF?! I look at the cup, and she hadn't written down to shots (so no espresso) and had written one pump pumpkin and four pumps classic. What sick individual would ever order such a thing? So gross. I didn't say anything, but I was way bummed that I paid $4 for something that doesn't even slightly resemble what I ordered. Horrible :( read more

They doubled the floor space of the former location but somehow seat even fewer people. Store layout screams "get your coffee and GO!" They could very comfortably fit 4-5 more tables and be more welcoming. The manager (a very nice woman) said the new table layout was done to increase walking space. You could hold a yoga class in there now, with room to spare! Too bad if you just want to sit and enjoy your coffee. Staff is very friendly; coffee great; wifi slow but free. read more

Like with the last Starbucks review, I'll start by saying I don't usually review chains. I've made an exception for this location. I'm usually here five days a week (if I checked in that much I'd definitely be Duke). I stop here before I go to work and the service is always quick and painless (I'm in around 6:45a). The baristas know my name and my regular drinks. Because I'm in so often, they know a lot about what's going on in my life and treat me like a friend instead of a customer. They're always great, whether the line is out the door or I'm the only one in the store. The service could be quicker, but the focus had shifted from 'speed of service' when I left the company (too bad too). Still, the baristas are very friendly and great! The store is always clean and fully stocked. Parking is never an issue. Drinks are always made right. Taking what Starbucks is "supposed" to be, this one is a stellar example of that. It's the best in the area (the others, from Downtown Azusa to the drive through in La Verne, need to work on being better stores). read more

I've been having problems with this Starbucks with my mobile orders. I usually do them 15 minutes before I enter this Starbucks to pick it up and trust me, they are the most SIMPLEST drinks. For example, a tall blonde with half-and-half. When I arrive there, I expect it to be at the bar for me to pick up but NO. I had to wait about 15-20 minutes for my simple ass drink. This Starbucks needs to learn how to prioritize the mobile orders because it is for people who are in a rush and don't have time to wait in line. But I end up waiting longer for my drink than the people who are in the lines?? Ridiculous. read more

3 strikes..... I'm out! I've only been to this location 3x and each time, I've left irritated. 1. Ordered hot, received iced. I even double checked with the person who took my order who confirmed that I ordered hot. 2. I don't go to Starbucks often so, I don't have a "regular" drink order. I asked (in the drive thru) what featured drinks they had because it wasn't on the menu (which I understand) and the employee just could not understand what I was asking. "What coffee do we have?" "Uhhhh what do you want to know??" Since cars were waiting behind me - I just said, never mind and left with no coffee.... I did order a frapp, no whip for my husband - received whipped cream and she was the one who asked me if I wanted whipped cream! 3. I tried this morning (6 AM), no one in the drive thru. Coconut Milk Mocha Macchiato. Received a Caramel Macchiato... I said, I ordered a coconut milk - to which he relied "yeah, with coconut milk". I didn't have time to wait for another drink to be made nor, did I receive a receipt. I don't know what is going on at this location but, no one seems to know what they are doing or well versed in what they offer. I feel like they are only half-listening and just prepare your order based on what they "think" they have heard. I understand that there are mix ups in food service but, each and every time with different employees, just shows that there is a real problem. From the looks of the ratings and reviews at this location - I'm not the only one having these issues. Strange I have spent well over $25.00 at Starbucks many times coffee, gift cards etc... this is the first time I was ask to show an I.D. By a I think manager to make my purchase. Kind of embarrassing. I said it was my first time ever at this Starbucks all other Starbucks never have asked for that, she said well they aren't doing their Job. Do you have I.D. After baking under the sun for 20 minutes without the line moving in drive-thru, it doesnt come to any genius employees mind to let people know they cant help and the system is down, meanwhile there is a LONG line of cars. Awww, I love this Starbucks. So many good memories here. I used to go here alot when I lived in Glendora. The team that was there was just delightful. Leo, Sue, Dan, Michael, Eric...they knew how to make a person's day. My drinks were always made right and I never had to wait long. They have some nice table space so its a great place to study, work, read, or catch up with friends. Parking is so easy which is also a huge plus. read more

Absolutely love the energy and culture here at this Starbucks! Kevin (the dude usually at the drive thru) is always super friendly and really great and pushing through orders with easeee. Emily one of the other baristas is always on top of making the drinks top notch and never lacks enthusiasm to do so. Leslie (I believe to be the manager) is also incredibly nice and super resilient, if there's any type of issue or obstacle that presents itself she is quick to resolve it and will go above and beyond to make her customers happy! If it came down to giving a customer a bucket of water to put out a car fire I can't say she wouldn't be the one on board to help lol. Great Starbucks location would definitely recommend!! read more

I love coming to Starbucks to do homework. I usually go to the one in San Dimas, because I like the atmosphere. I was excited about this one reopening, because it's close to my house and the inside looked like a nice place to do homework. Today I went for the first time to do homework and the internet is terrible! It is slow and I am unable to sign onto blackboard to view my assignments. I have never had this problem at any of the other Starbucks I have done my work at. I like the atmosphere and the service, but something needs to be done about the internet service. read more

This is a relatively new Starbucks and it is very very busy however they are regularly out of many items. Almost every time i come here, i have to get my second or third choice. This morning's example, they were out of Earl Grey Tea, Passion Tea AND the Steak & Egg Wrap. I suggest they do a better job of planning and ordering. And they don't seem to be that sorry or worried about it read more
