Those who need their "morning coffee fix" also needs their heads slapped to think blocking the main entry way and parking spot to other stores is totally fine. It's been awhile that the Corona Virus has been around and Starbucks have been a drive through only facility since and many customers stack the line from the drive through all the way to the first entry way into the Kaneohe shopping center. It was so ridiculous that there are even cars stopped on the main road because the line to Starbucks is backed up, like seriously? I need to get medicine from Walgreens but i have to park away from my store to accommodate all your "morning coffee fixes". I don't blame you for wanting some coffee but maybe have to respect and two sense when you're coming into the area for others, especially those who need to go to the other stores. I have driven through this Starbucks a few times now. It's nice since we don't have a drive through one in Kailua. I am not too lazy to get out of my car but with a two year old and a newborn it just makes more sense. Only thing I really don't like is the location of the entrance and exits. However they had to work with the conditions of the existing parking lot so cest la vie. I haven't really had a bad experience with the service until today. I ordered my skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte, no problem. But then I ordered my mommy a Expresso Con Panna. It is supposed to be a caramel-sweet expresso shot topped with whipped cream. I found it on their mobile app while searching for a caffe Vienna which is apparently the same thing. The person on the intercom asked me to hold so I imagine she needed help with the drink but then she came back on and repeated my order. Wonderful! But then she asked me if I wanted "it" iced..... I asked her which one... But then she rattled off my total and told me drive up. When we got to the window we paid and got my drink.... Then we watched as they prepared a shot of expresso, topped it with ice and then added whip cream. I told the girl we wanted it hot. Confused she walked away and came back "you just want a shit of expresso with whip cream on top?" Well yes... Ridiculous wait for coffee. Stood close enough to prep area to see 8-10 cups moved around causing no order to when people placed their order. Simple plain coffee yet 7 people who came after me got their beverage before me. They are all working hard but the efficiency needs some attention. Starbucks is not cheap so the process should be better. The drive up is even worse and the access is horrific as cars block the parking lot causing lots of navigation issues. This location is convenient and usually clean. It sometimes takes a little while for the staff to clean up tables, because they're so busy working behind the bar. The staff is fairy nice and friendly. Once you place your order, they get it out pretty quickly. I like that I can stay here for hours and work on things while I wait for my boyfriend to finish work nearby. There is a lot of parking in the parking lot, but I usually am walking from the bus stop right outside of the parking lot on Kamehameha Hwy. This Starbucks isn't quite as expensive as the Aina Haina one that I usually go to, so I really like that! The "downsides" are the walk to enter the store and the line (sometimes). The entrances are inconveniently placed if you are walking from the Longs side of the parking lot. Of course, this isn't entirely Starbucks's fault. I usually stop by Longs and walk to Starbucks. The entrance and exit for cars from the parking lot split up the parking lot, and in addition to the placement of the railings for the ramp and the drive-thru, it is a little more difficult to get to the entrance on the parking lot side. As for the line, the staff seems to always be working, especially because of the drive thru, but sometimes, they take a little while to get to the people who are waiting in line in the store. The line just doesn't always move as quickly as the one in the Aina Haina Starbucks that I usually go to. Last thing that's kind of a plus and a minus: When you get a refill on an iced coffee, they usually give you a new cup. Sometimes it's nice to not have a cup with all the condensation on the outside, but of course, it's bad for the environment that this location keeps giving you new cups for every refill. I would actually prefer to just reuse my old cup. read more

This is my go to Starbucks when I have time on my way to work and need a pick me up. When I go to Starbucks I don't really deviate from my 3 go to choices, which are : cafe vanilla frapuccino, cinnamon dolce latte, or pumpkin spice latte (when it's that time of year). Every time I've ordered here the flavors are consistently on point! There are other Starbucks establishments who either add too much coffee or too much syrup, but the baristas here have been superbly trained and they always deliver just what I am looking for! The greatest thing is their drive thru window! The clerks have always been very courteous and they are FAST! I've never received less than the best customer service and I'm always greeted with a smile. I only gave 4 stars because the wifi never connects for me here, but it could be that I may be doing something wrong. This is a hot spot for people dining in so. Consistently one of the slowest Starbucks in the world. And trust me, I've been all over the world visiting these coffee shops. These employees stroll around like sloths with no purpose and no efficiency. You can tell I hate being and hate their jobs. This is officially the last time I'll ever come to Starbucks. I've given it a few extra chances but this place is consistently disappointment. The mobile apps take upwards of 15 minutes to get a drink and if you wait in line it's even longer. This is not the best location if you are looking to stay for a while. It is quite a busy location (drive-through + relatively large floor) and despite heavy traffic, only has one gender-neutral restroom shared by many customers and employees. I stayed for several hours and every time I used the restroom had to wait in line to do so. This location should be remodeled to feature at least two gender-neutral restrooms. Every single time I come to the Starbucks is out of convenience because of the drive thru. I will now go out of my way and drive to Windward city now after many failed attempts at Kaneohe bay they are always inconsistent with their drinks because the employees are being lazy because it's "busy" I never have the same tasting drink even though I order the same drink everyday. I really don't like rating under a 3 but maybe this will help them improve. Ill change it if I see a change. It's near my home and it has a drive through. The drive through itself is raking in the stars because there's no need to get out of the car. Service - is aight, it has gotten much better from the sassy cashier who is all mouth no action because she can't be seen over the drive through intercom. I really hate conflict so I never said anything the handful of times she had been rude but, when she got stupid with my daughter I wanted to jump through the window and smack her with the head set...I finally made a complaint. It was handled immediately with a sincere apology from the manager and a free drink. I must've not been the first to complain about her. She's still there btw she works mornings. The male workers out shine the females here in all around service. Lines- if there isn't a line when u get there by drive through or inside book your flight to Vegas asap your on a lucky streak. Orders- they'll take it but will they make it? it's a hit or miss to get it right. I always ask for extra pumps of vanilla, which btw I pay for, and i can tell it's rushed because I can barely taste it. I like my drink sweet so I can tell when they are hitting the pump lightly to be quick. it's NEVER consistent. It's such a bummer it's like an abusive relationship I don't know why I keep goin back ugh! Drive through- 50/50 chance of you goin right through. However, I must say their pretty darn fast considering. Orders are quicker if you do a mobile order. You can pass everyone in line and look VIP LOL 2nd fastest, believe it or not, is drive through. This is the Starbucks that I like the most on the island. It wins because it has a drive-through! They have some good seating areas, and it's a good place to meet, although a little loud. Yes, it's a Starbucks, and yes, it's pretty cookie-cutter. But Starbucks is so cookie-cutter for a reason. It works! I love that there is a drive-through, which means that it can be a fast and quick stop when you are in dire need of caffeine. Even though I like them, I'm not giving them five stars because they have messed up my order twice. Once, they gave me regular milk instead of soy milk. I'm lactose intolerant, so that was almost scary. Thank goodness I noticed. (I had to park the car and go inside to get it fixed.) The second time they messed up, my soy latte tasted burnt. They replaced it pretty quickly, but I am glad that I was sitting in the café that time, otherwise I would've just driven away with it and dealt with the burnt latte. I love this Starbucks for the drive thru and their friendliness. They could brush up on their barista skills though. I'm here almost every day, and almost every single time, I get a messy cup that's dripping coffee from the lid. Could you guys clean the mess up before handing your drinks to your customers please?! On top of that, getting what you ask for is a hit or miss. Tall apple juice in a grande cup (I also explain that I need the room because the drink is going to a toddler). What do I get? COFFEE!!! Another addiction I have. Thank you, Starbucks for having this location with a drive-thru! This location is the only one with a drive-thru in Kaneohe. It is located near Walgreens and PetCo. I get there around 7:45 am and the crowd is usually gone by then. If you don't use the drive-thru, there is ample parking in the lot surrounding the store. This Starbucks is the makai end of Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center. The store has gone through a renovation. It is nice & homey in there. Lots of room for you to study or get some work done with your electronics and the free wifi. Now, to the subject of coffee. I am a creature of habit. I do not often stray from my favorites. And what I do order from here, I love. If I didn't, I wouldn't keep coming back. I have never had the drive thru or counter mess up my order. The staff are always friendly and cheerful when I order and pick up my drink. My almost daily habit is pricey, but if the coffee makes me happy, then who am I to stop the addiction? Staff is super nice, but I went in to get matcha and some studying done (finals season) and they don't have power outlets. They claimed it was because of "safety reasons" but that seemed improbable. Unfortunately I had to take the bus here, so it was a pretty expensive lunch and 15 minutes I could work on my laptop before it died as I had planned on being able to charge it there. read more

(But there are some who have major attitude problems) If my drink is made wrong, they immediately fix it and aren't snobby about it. +LA BOULANGE! EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD! Poorly run Starbucks! Why do I bother ordering coffee travlers if they don't have it done in time?? I ordered 2 coffee travlers then night before and requested a pick up at 6 am the following morning. I arrive at 6:25 am and they tell me it's not ready. At this point I'll just make it to work on time. I'm asked if I can wait for 5 min (no choice at this point since I'm to bring coffee for my meeting) while it's made. Long story short, I ended up leaving Starbucks just before 6:40 am and being late for work. Upon arriving at work, I noticed spilled cream all over my cars carpet because the barista didn't bother putting the plastic stopper in either of the tall cream cups. So I basically rushed to work (because they made of the poor service) and had no stopper for the cream allowing it to spill out of the cover all over my car and the travler Sadly, this isn't the first time this has happened. I've ordered the travlers the night before, requesting a 6 am pick up and it not being ready. The last time they didn't even know of my order. This is a poorly run Starbucks, only popular because of the drive through. I'll be going to the Starbucks at Windward City Shopping Center from now on. read more

1 star for having a drive thru. I've been here about 3 times. I usually go to Windward City Shopping Center for starbucks, or down the road by the mall. But since I had to take my aunty to Safeway I decided to go there for the 3rd time. WRONG MOVE HINANO!! I dont like this Starbucks AT ALL. The first time I went through the drive through, I ordered an iced coffee, Venti with caramel walls, light ice, no whip. Does that sound complicating? It doesn't to me. I drive up the the window and I see the guy making my iced coffee. Heres what I see. NO ICE, whipped cream, no caramel walls. You know what, whatever, just take the drink and go. The second time I went I ordered a grande double chocolate chip frap, with WHITE mocha instead of regular mocha, and no whip. This order seems easier than the first time I came right? Heres what I get: a VENTI double chocoalte chip, with regular mocha, and whipped cream with mocha drizzle. Okay Hinano, just breathe, from now on just drive down the read to the other starbucks. The THIRD and LAST time. I ordered a grande White mocha frap, with toffee nut syrup, and hazelnut walls, no whip cream. I figure, for this order, you dont have to sub ANYTHING, just make the WMF and add toffee nut and hazelnut walls to my cup. I pull up the the window, and I get a Venti (which I was charged for) WMF, no walls, and whipped cream. The girl at the window is really slow/: She hands out the drink out for me to grab, and I tell her that's not my order. Then she says "grande wmf with toffee nut and hazelnut walls right?" so I look at her and I say "yes" and then she looks at my cup and realizes that its a venti and theres no walls, and whip cream. Soooo, she makes hazelnut walls in my cup and dumps the drink in another cup and adds whip cream. I am so mad at this point. Then she gives it to me and I ask "how much????" and she says, "oh, we dont charge extra for hazelnut walls" So I say "Umm, you didnt even give me my total, does that mean it's free? you know since you messed up twice already??" (I was so mad, I got really rude /:) And she said, "Oh, your total is 5.91" 5.91? huh? I order this drink and its usually 5.18! As a loyal customer to Starbucks. I have never experienced an encounter with a rude as f*** employee named Colten. He's supposedly a manager there but he needs to go back and take some basic training in customer service cause he obviously doesn't have any at all. I would give a negative if I could. I ordered two medium, grande, ice caramel Machado's with 5 shots each. Both drinks came out looking like pure creamer. I asked the lady at the window if these had 5 shot each and she said she would check with the barista and then came and said yes. I KNOW THERE IS NOT 5 SHOTS thing tastes like straight creamer is what o wanted to say but instead I drove away. I am a frequent customer of this Starbucks location. The service here is usually excellent and the baristas are so nice. However, this morning I encountered poor customer service that has left me extremely disappointed.  This morning, I ordered a cinnamon almondmilk macchiato which, after already arriving at my destination, I realized was just a cup of foamed milk. I drove back and walked up to the pick up counter to let the barista know. Her name was Lexi. I stood there for a few minutes with her blatantly avoiding making any type of eye contact with me. I didnt let it bother me, I just waited for her to finish what she was doing. What really got to me was when she pulled out a bottle of some type of foamy cleaner and sprayed it on the front of the machine, then proceeded to spray it on the side of the machine within inches of my face! This is where I got VERY upset and disappointed! To spray a cleaner in an area where it can come in contact with a customers face and eyes is not only rude and disrespectful, but extremely DANGEROUS! It was then that I grabbed my drink and marched straight to the cashier, Kalena, who said she was the attending manager because their manager Jayson was not in. I let her know what had just happened and how dangerous that is! Kalena had Lexi remake my drink. Ignoring customers is one thing, but to then spray a cleaner in close proximity to their face and still act like you didnt see them is dangerous and uncalled for. If I should have gone to the cashier instead of the pick up counter, then Lexi could have kindly pointed me in that direction instead of ignoring me.  I am hoping this is a situation that is addressed so it does not happen to another customer. Maybe better training needs to be given? ...I've been here many times thru the drive thru since my office is just a block away so it's convenient on my way in. Gave a 2 star because of the convenience of the location and because service is pretty quick. Once I came thru the drive thru, I was short changed and when I called about it, they didn't remember. A few other times I've come here, they made my coffee with regular milk instead of soy milk. Just last week I ordered for my drink to be layered it wasn't. Then I realize when I left the drive thru and took a sip, it was regular milk. I order my drink layered for 1 reason, this way i can see if the milk is soy or regular milk. When they stir it, I can't tell. Anyway, I won't go thru the drive thru unless I am in a rush especially because they have screwed up my order a few times. read more

This is the one closest to my house so it by default has become my go to, not super happy about it. I know whining about being forced to go to a Starbucks is kind of dueschy. My bad. I come here pretty regularly because honestly I'm addicted to certain things here. They are always super friendly and are as fast as they can be considering customer volume at the times I go. I often use the drive through so they get to hide their mistakes because I rarely find them until I'm down the road. Drink mixtures are what ever the barista is feeling that day, I've had unsweetened teas drowning in mint and mochas minus the chocolate(yeah that's just coffee at that point) My favorite game is what do I get with my oatmeal, a classic oatmeal has nuts, brown sugar and fruit medley thing. You don't always get those things and thinking about it now maybe I should thank Starbucks for adding spice to my life with my ever changing oatmeal ingredients!!! All in all I'll keep coming here out of the need for caffeine but I'm not happy about it! Needed to update: I was attempting to be a good husband and buy my wife a frappacino with out the coffee inside, said my order twice to the register person. Most mornings the drive thru line is ridiculously long (wrapped around to Walgreens) so when I saw no line I decided to stop in on my way to work. I ordered a hot drink and breakfast sandwich. There was only one car in front of me, none behind me. I know from past experiences that it takes a bit of time to heat up the sandwich so I was shocked when I pulled up to the window and was immediately handed my package. I had a reward and a coupon for a discount on a breakfast sandwich on my card. I said I wanted to use my coupon but it wasn't until later that I realized that they used my reward. Good thing I was still in Kaneohe when I decided to eat my sandwich. First thing I notice is that the item in the package is cold- fine, I'll deal with a cold sandwich. Well it wasn't even a sandwich- it was a piece of pound cake. I decide to turn around and take it back- after all, I paid for a more expensive sandwich. I tried to call the store to tell them about the mix up. I also wanted them to start heating up the sandwich so that by the time I drove back there it would be ready. Don't bother calling them- they don't pick up the phone! When I got back to the store the drive thru line was ridiculously long so I was forced to find parking and walk in. They did correct the problem but it was a huge inconvenience and I wasted my reward on something I didn't intend to use it on. read more

I come to this Starbucks pretty frequently. They tend to miss online orders (2/3 times for me) so you have to go up and ask, which defeats the whole point of online ordering efficiency. Environment wise, the bathroom here has a really loud ventilation, quite unsettling, I guess it gets people out quicker. The sitting areas are fine but AC can be too cold (especially at the window side corner area) and the music might be too loud (especially toward the backside/hall-way style seating area). Baristas for the most part are nice! They're pleasant and not sassy. I once had a barista who notified me and gave me an entire new drink after realizing that he made my earl grey latte with green tea instead. I didn't even notice but his honesty and taking the time to do this was memorable. read more

This was probably the worst experience I've ever had at a Starbucks. I'm lactose intolerant, so I always order my creamy drinks with soy, or in this case coconut milk. Now I've definitely gotten mixups in the past, but none quite as horrendous and off-putting as this. I ordered a green tea frappuccino with coconut milk and only one pump of syrup, and I watched the barista make it with regular milk and three pumps of syrup. When I pointed out her mistake by saying it was too sweet, she claimed it was because of the coconut milk. Really, girl? What coconut milk? This is the closest Starbucks for us and I refuse to give them my business anymore. We've been patronizing the Kailua and Windward Mall Starbucks instead. (To be honest, we love Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf more. Especially the Kailua location). In fact, giving this location 1 star is being too generous. This Starbucks has the worse customer service. We've come to this Starbucks frequently before and we've never felt welcomed. Baristas are too lazy to put the inclusions in my drink, roll their eyes when asked for light or no ice (I pay for a full size drink not a cupful of ice and 1/3 liquid).
