For the past 6 years, this Starbucks has been my saving grace from having a complete and utter meltdown at work. Any time I felt frustrated or annoyed, I'd come and get that first sip feeling. I mean I'd come by just to get a regular drink too but let's be honest, the "simmer down" that sugary drinks gives me is what I usually need to make it through the rest of the day. The little walk across the street and the outside air helps too. I'll be quite honest in the fact I haven't been in in quite some time (until recently.) Probably since right before the pandemic, when my work (across the street) opened it's very own Starbucks. The one at work is way more expensive than this location, but I do get a discount so it shakes out in the end. This is why coming downstairs from my office/kitchen is was easier than exiting the building and walking across the street. It also doesn't help that you still can't go inside and it doesn't have a pedestrian pick-up. The drive thru situation can get bad here, since it's on such a small piece of land with busy Sahara and Paradise as it's cross streets. I will say though that the service has always been fast (even now) and super friendly. I would say this is probably the only Starbucks I've ever not had to have a drink re-made. This is an awful location for one reason-- the way they treat people. There has never been a time that the restroom has not been "not working right now." I won't ever spend a penny here. I asked "how long has it not been working?" "Ohhhh...I couldn't tell you that." (Trade secret apparently... possibly Starbucks own anti-homeless policy) "So, forever? It's never worked?" I specifically mentioned I had points to use to the drive thru order staff, and staff at the window...they charged me. Trust the reviews here and on Google maps, many 1 stars for a reason. The staff was really friendly, I even forgot to order another drink and when I got to the window the girl who helped me had no problem me ordering it there. I headed here because the person in charge of my class was cheap and didn't supply even crappy coffee for his boring lectures and sub-par presentations. I decided to go outside the box and bring my own coffee for the class. I called around to find that this was one Starbucks on the strip that didn't price gouge you for the travel box of coffee. I pre-paid my $16.95 after taxes (still wicked high even by Hawaii standards) and asked for it to be ready at 7am. I was surprised that not only was it ready, it was on the counter when I walked in, with all the trimmings. Fantastic service. BTW this is a re-post since I apparently used some NON-PC terms in my original post. Ok so ... this is my signature starbucks right next to my house . i normally order through the app 10 min before i arrive and normally my drink is ready and no problems. i normally only meet the guys that work around 9 pm and they are cool. Today I had the misfortune to meet a "barista" who's name i forgot. She is around 35ish and has pink short hair. we used the drive through. First she mixed up our order (what led to a rather long wait even though my sons and my drink was already waiting on the counter all along) . Well ok whit happens i guess . I had just finished my last starbucks ice tea (yes i have a problem lol) and asked her if she could please throw away the empty starbucks cup for us so we have room in the cupholder to place the new beverages and she looks at me and says : quote " i won't take your garbage" in the most condescending tone . I was so confused surprised and shocked that i just drove off . Considering we just payed another 11 dollars for 2 drinks i would have expected a little customer service. Decided to stop here needed that little lift and then the green mermaid answered my prayers. This location is conveniently located across from the SLS. The store is very spacious and very welcoming. The cashier was friendly and took my order right away with no waiting. I ended up ordering a white chocolate mocha with whip cream. The barista was very friendly too and made small talk about my plans for the day while making my drink. The wonderful barista even asked if I wanted whipped cream again, so way to go since some people are lactose intolerant and it is nice to see people on their game. So after a month of renovations which one would assume included the interior, they STILL haven't opened the inside of this location. I asked a staff member at the drive through a few weeks back when they were opening the inside and she said "we don't know, not anytime soon due to the location and the homeless people that are around". Is it so hard to pay a security guard to look after the entrance to avoid homeless people causing issues, so that the customers are able to go inside instead of having to constantly line up in a drive through that goes out onto Sahara Avenue constantly? As usual, I ordered via the mobile to minimize the in-person meet due to COVID-19 (Dec 25th, 2020). We were walking up from our hotel as we were visiting Las Vegas. When my wife and I arrived, it was written on the door that it is on vehicle pick up only. There was a phone number we called it. A female employee responded, after I told her we have an order but we are walking, she said the app states that this is drive through only. I told her no, I just used the app 10 minutes ago and it does not say that. She got angry, started screaming, yelling and told me that I am "rude." I was stunned, amused, and shocked. She had the gots to call a customer "rude" on a Christmas morning. I hung up immediately and walked away. If Starbucks allows this employee to yell at a customer and calls him "rude" why can I trust this brand to make food or drink for me. This person is the kind of person who may spit into my drink. No thank you. You stole the $10 the price of my order. But no thank you. This is just a garbage location apparently. Thank you Starbucks for fostering employees who throw insults on your customers on a Christmas morning. Way to go. read more

I'm a BIG Starbucks fan and go to multiple locations weekly. This has to be the worse I've ever seen in terms of customer service. Guy who looked like the manager is too busy talking on his headset and taking out the trash to help customers who aren't getting serviced. Ordered the egg bites on the mobile app and asked twice if they were ready and it was like it was a real inconvenience to answer me. They said they'd be ready soon but I could see the oven was not in use and they were probably sitting at the drive through window. After 3 short rude replies they finally figured it out and grabbed them for us. The guy seems like he's running around like a chicken with his head cut off, but he doesn't get the main objective of a service business like this which is : Put the CUSTOMERS first!!!!! It gets busy here and it's really hard to park because the lot is really small which it shares with another business. The inside is really small for the amount of traffic so it's hit or miss getting a seat. Lots of shady people around because it's close to the strip. This Starbucks location is very convenient for me in the downtown area, there's another Starbucks but on Fremont Street Experience that is 24 hours (!!!!!!!). I would give it three stars because of the parking structure like Jen F. mentioned and the crowd capacity but the awesome staff kicks it up another notch. There's a funny story to this location too; one day at the drive through I decided to pay for the person behind me (and come to find out she's also a regular who goes by Amy). I tell the cashier to let the person behind me to "pay it forward". The next week during my regular hot tea run someone in front of me paid for my drink from a "pay it forward" chain that I started! =D read more

This Starbucks is near Chinatown or the so called Chinatown mall. Out of the strip. There are parking at this Starbucks and they do sell some mugs inside. There are parking outside. My girl and I stopped here for some java just after eating lunch at India Oven (read the review) and this Starbucks seemed moderately busy but not too crowded. The Java was great; I had the Pumpkin Spice Latte as I have had for about 4 days straight. My girl stated that I would soon be getting withdraw symptoms once the seasonal items change....zomg. My girl had the new Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate but she had hers iced, which she feels it would after having it that way taste better hot. The only thing negative about this one today was the rest room was a bit dirty with black grim all over the floors in the men's bathroom. It was not so busy I feel that they should have been checking the bathroom regularly. On a side note, I saw a homeless person come in and ask for some water, which they promptly gave him with no hassles. This place can get extremely busy being so close to the strip and the convention center. They always seem to be sufficiently staffed. It is a homeless Mecca so bathroom codes are constantly changing. There is a steady turnover of staff but those here are trained and friendly there was a constant flow and they know how to deal with high traffic. Sometimes this place puts on a real show. Metro likes to pop in frequently for their fix and it keeps a lid on this joint. One of my favorites! read more

Checking this particular Starbucks location off of my list and into the pile of locations that aren't my favorites. I have utilized mobile order twice now, allowing the estimated time frames for my items to be prepared. On both occasions, my orders haven't been ready. On my most recent visit, I ordered the spinach and egg white breakfast wrap and a coffee. The wrap was still half frozen and of course I didn't realize this until I already left the drive through. When I returned to have them re-make it, I was looked at like it was my fault... The guy even tried to take the one I gave him and heat it up more instead of doing a brand new one like he was supposed to.. 2nd time visiting this place and the coffee they claim to make isn't coffee. I shouldn't be ordering a cold brew and it comes out almost white even after I ask for it to be remade. In my opinion, they are likely diluting down whatever they call coffee with a ton of milk to boost profits. If I wanted a glass of milk, I would've stayed home and poured myself a glass of milk. Your cold brew should have coffee, cream layered on top of each other like the other 100 Starbucks I've been to. It should not be premixed as we're receiving it through your window. read more

I dropped by the next day spoke with Manager-"Jen Olvera" advised her about the experience and requested for best barista to prep it for me.
