Stopped by today and LOVE the new furnishings. They've added more seats, and the color scheme is a nod to coffee, caramel and lattes. They are improving the ambiance. I sat in to enjoy a grande caramel macchiato and a bacon Gouda sandwich to appreciate the decor. The leather chairs are very comfortable. I'll be back to have a working day here. I went on my birthday, the line was super long but once i finally got to the front, it was smooth. My banana matcha was so yummy as well.

There's some workers that are amazing, but truly some of them are nightmares. The lines are HUGE, they take forever making beverages, they are unorganized don't know who's order is whos, I ordered in line and it took them 40 minutes to give me my drinks, they ended up being MELTED and the lady refused to remake my drinks when I asked. I immediately requested a refund through their app, what type of business cannot properly manage their drive thru or employees to work together to move the line along. This Starbucks location has really gone downhill. I used to get coffee here all the time, but in recent months the wait is almost always ridiculously long. Like, I arrive in the drive-through with no line to order, so I place my order immediately and then wait for 20 to 30 minutes before I can pick up my order, even if there's just 1 or 2 cars in front of me at the pick-up window. Either their staff are lazy/undertrained, or management is severely understaffing the place. My advice is go somewhere else unless you have a ton of time to kill. read more

I want to start by saying that if you're looking for a quiet place to study, this is not the Starbucks to go to. The environment is consistently loud, with employees play-fighting and having conversations that can be heard clearly from the seating area. Service is also an issue. The drive-thru is often slow, and orders are inconsistent. Some days drinks are made well, other days they're not. It's frustrating not knowing what you're going to get. Cleanliness is another major concern. The seating area is frequently dirty, and it doesn't seem like it's being maintained properly. On top of that, they're often out of basic food items. The only reason I still come here is because the Starbucks by wawa closes early. Otherwise, I would definitely choose a different location. The employees are a little on the younger side and the service shows their absolute ineptitude and inability to serve decent customer service. To describe today's experience... I approach the front desk and am greeted by a bunch of doofy looks and smirks from the evening crew baristas who don't want to take my order. I'm quite literally standing at the front for 3 minutes before being greeted by one of the three baristas. Shouldn't there be a policy regarding phone use at the front? The drive-thru barista was on his phone, fiddling with customer's cups and doing little else, and then the blue-haired barista was on their phone as well. The one that finally decides to man the register swallows a smirk before feigning her best apathetic customer-service facade. I order my caffeine and - although I told them I didn't need my receipt, I feel like I needed it considering the bizarre service I had. The barista that makes my drink avoids all eye-contact, save for the occasional, strange side-eyeing behavior. Are these people hitting blinkers before their shift? It was completely surreal. I wasn't sure if they were making my drink - I had to ask the barista that rung me up, because I was second-guessing whether or not I had ordered. She replies that it's coming, and little else. The baristas are rushing between looking at their phones and exchanging jokes with one another. This is so bizarre. I understand there is probably more of a rush for in-house service during the day, but this is not an excuse to have such subpar customer service during the evening. I've been to this location before to sit and study, and unfortunately, the experience is consistently bad. I've overheard employees making fun of customers and being rude. The seating area is also always filled with flies - I am constantly fighting them off from my drink. This persistent fly problem raises questions about the cleanliness of the store. However, what's even more concerning is the consistently poor customer service. The employees seem disinterested and unprofessional, which is unacceptable for a business that relies on customer loyalty. As a result, I will be advising my colleagues and associates to avoid this location due to the subpar service. Terrible customer service. Every time I come here they never have the gift card holders for the gift card. I just went in there Saturday January 19th at 6:35pm. It's only one worker and she seemed like she's ready to go and didn't even seem to even ask can she help me. This is one of the three Starbucks that I visit regularly. I mostly use the Starbucks mobile app to avoid standing in line. It works out well when I time it just right. The team of baristas at this location are generally friendly. They always have my orders ready to go quickly and accurately. A big "Thank you" to the baristas! Your java keeps me going and your efficiency helps to keep me on time! There is enough seating space to work here remotely if need be. The booth seating has electrical outlets built into it every few feet. This makes charging a laptop, phone or tablet very easy. There is also a small seating area outdoors which is cool if the weather is nice! This location shares a parking lot and building space with a handful of other restaurants. For that reason, sometimes parking in front of the store can be a little challenging at times. However, there is ample parking right next to the building so it's not a big deal. As I said, this is one of the three stores that I frequent regularly. I intend to continue doing so too. As long as the service stays good and the Cinnamon Almond Macchiatos stay flavorful I'll keep coming back! read more

Since coffee is life, I gotta get my fix. I have ordered inside the store and ordered ahead. In both instances I was pleased with the process. Of course due to the 'Rona you can't sit inside, and all of the tables are pushed away to make space to social distance. I did notice in one of my visits that they have a couple of tables for outdoor seating that folk used. I was pleased with the way that this Starbucks handled handing out drinks and mobile orders, in comparison to other locations. The baristas hold on to drinks behind the plexiglass and provide them to you once you provide your name, rather than leaving them sitting out like other locations. From what I seen mobile orders are the way to go- the drive thru is crazy long and not many people go inside. read more

So glad they opened a drive-thru! this location is less than a half a mile from the old location which makes it pretty convenient for past customers. The overall space is much bigger, there is more than enough parking available specifically for the store, and shopping center has parking for the overflow. I ordered my first drink (custom of course) and it was crafted in less than 5 minutes. The drink was perfect almost as perfect as the service. I changed my order after placing it and they were still friendly and accommodating. I look forward to utilizing the new space and taking full advantage of the drive thru. This location is actually a quicker drive thru than their New Carrollton store. I will never go to this Starbucks again. I usually go for convenience but not anymore. This is the last straw. Listed below are the issues I've had since going to this Starbucks. 1. They never get my order correct. If I order any creme frappe they make it coffee. If I order a specific drink and customize it, it's still incorrect. 2. They're always out of products. Food/supplies for drinks. This is a busy Starbucks. Clearly they need to buy more supplies. An example is today. I pre-ordered a sandwich with my drink. I was so shocked they made my drink correctly I almost jumped in the air full of joy. But of course they were out of the sandwich I ordered. I ordered the ham and cheese. Out of all the sandwiches on the app the ham and cheese wasn't sold out. But I get there five minutes later and it's gone. 3. The wait time. They need to hire more people. I even had to wait 20 minutes for the replacement sandwich. Which was not worth the money!!! They game me the bacon, egg and cheese SQUARE. I kid you not the sandwich was so small and the one I originally ordered and didn't get was already expensive like $8. I was so pissed. I didn't even eat it. 4. Another bad experience. I never forget the time I had to go walk through the drive-thru for my drink. I walked to the starbucks because I was close by. I pre-ordered my drink. So when I get there I see a sign on the door that said the inside of the store was closed. For whatever reason. So I'm thinking, I'm not about to go through the drive-thru. So I wave to the workers and they stare at me and do nothing. Like I wasn't even there. I knew they were laughing at me. So eventually they wave me to the drive-thru. How hard was it to just walk across the store and give me my drink???? When I see someone come out the back door they said to go through the drive-thru. I'm so happy that this Starbucks is down the street from where I live, and it's a pretty solid Starbucks. I've never really had any issues with my order and everyone I've encountered there has been super friendly, and their customer service is on point. It's definitely a beautiful Starbucks, I love the set up that they have there and how open it is. Unfortunately with the pandemic, they haven't opened indoor seating, but there is seating outside that is available to people. My only reason for giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that they're always busy. It's in a fairly busy shopping center, so I understand that. First time in since it was relocated and NEVER COMING BACK. Kim was extremely RUDE. We'd always go to the location by Chick fil a and I remember Kim because she ALWAYS has an upset face. Anyway, we walk in and someone takes our order, I was getting only two drinks but decided to order more all my staff. I told the girl ringing me up I'd step to the side and wait for the rest of the order. She nicely suggested taking and making ours and then taking the other orders. Kim looked over and seemed bothered. The good: smaller and quieter than a lot of Starbucks. Ample electrical outlets for your laptop. The bad: the exterior is usually filthy. I don't know whether the Starbucks staff is responsible for cleanup or whether the shopping center is responsible, but there's always trash, rotting food, and overflowing trash cans outside. Makes sitting outside unpleasant. There are also a number of people who choose to ignore the "no smoking" signs on the outside tables and smoke anyway. I asked one patron sitting about 5 feet upwind from me to kindly extinguish his cigarette. He looked at me as if he wasn't sure whether to strangle me or knife me. He didn't say a word; he and his girlfriend just kept staring at me and made it clear they had no intention of complying with the no smoking rules. I asked the staff to require him to put out the cigarette, which they did, and he did. Not sure why it required a staff member asking him to put out his smoke rather than another customer asking him, but I guess when you feel entitled that's how you act. This isn't starbucks' fault, but it would be nice if they enforced their own rules. The flouting of the smoking rules happens all the time at this location; I've never seen it at another location. I'm in here like 8 times a week (no lie, I'm the duchess of this location). The employees are super super nice. It's never super busy which is always a plus. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they always short cut my drinks. For example, I get a green tea lemonade most of the time and they NEVER shake it. Okay, you're probably like "omg get over it" but I used to work at a Bux and I know the difference. They also add water to my cold brew sometimes if they don't have enough actual cold brew.
