I wish I had the magic wand that would make it so that more people could afford what they needed and that the business owners would still make a decent profit and share some of that with their employees in the form of living wages and benefits. I'm old school and we managed to both save and invest during our working lives. And now in retirement, we still don't spend like there's no tomorrow.
