I like this place a latte. This isn't your normal everyday starbucks! This is reserve which contains some of them more exclusive items, such as one I'd highly recommend the cold brew nitro, a much needed pick me up. The store itself is very clean and very homely, a great place to bring a laptop to work or have a meeting during lunch or even after work. One thing to check out for sure is their reserve bar which I believe changes brews occasionally and these items are usually a higher grade type of coffee for any enthusiasts. Also of course all other normal items can be bought here too, even pumpkin spice lattes (writing this in the fall). read more

Stopped by this Starbucks during a business trip to Austin and had some time to work before the meeting. The atmosphere of this place is amazing. Lots of bright natural light, patio, bar area. If I loved coffee I would be in heaven. But I just got a tea and something to eat and got some work done. Two guys next to me at the Reserve Bar ordered a coffee tasting. I'm all about the beer tastings, whiskey and wine but the coffee tasting was new to me. None the less they seemed delighted with it. My only issue with this place is the lack of outlets. I didn't see one under me or the two stools to my left and right at the reserve bar. This is a Starbucks, people need to work, add more outlets. Other than that its a good place to work and stop in. Excellent Starbucks Reserve. I tried several items here - clover brewed origin flight, nitro dirty chai, and affogato. The clover brew process is neat, and it's cool to sit at the bar and watch. The employees are super kind and warm. Beware the nitro dirty chai is extremely caffeinated - I was super wired after the grande size! Guessing it to be about 300mg caffeine... The affogato was also excellent - a generous serving of ice cream with 2 shots of espresso. It was super tasty. The plastic reserve cups are also lovely, and I had a few to take home with me for future Starbucks treats. read more

I got the Panama Carmen Estate Reserve coffee with the Siphon brewing method ($10). This coffee tastes so good and the quality is top notch. Plus I was able to use my Starbucks Rewards on this so it was FREE!!! They make the coffee right in front of you and you watch it while one of the baristas explains how everything works. Their baristas are so knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and helpful! I can't get over how great the service is here. It is so different from your traditional Starbucks. If you want regular Starbucks drinks, they are also available in the menu! My friend got the Cold Brew Float with her rewards as well. It comes with ice cream which tastes amazing and isn't overly sweet. I'd highly recommend both drinks! The interior is so nice and aesthetically pleasing. Um.... my jaw is still dropped after seeing this place. This has GOT to be the fanciest looking Starbucks I have ever been in. I LOVE IT! I usually never drink Starbucks because there is so many other good coffee shops in Austin but I was craving it this day. This location is right next to the Sprinkles Cupcakes so you can really get a whole meal. Coffee w/cupcake on the side. Let me get back to what I was saying, the interior of this place is so updated and modern and sleek but still cool. It has a lot of nice wood finishes and beautiful clear cups along the shelves. Even the employees here looked fancy. If you are ever in this side of the domain, I recommend you stop by this Starbucks, even if you don't get anything, you just have to see how pretty it is!! Well hello there, fancy new friend. This Starbucks is Starbucks that "coming of age" coffee shop. The all grown up, learned about great food and excellent wines, witty and intriguing conversations and how to host a fabulous dinner party of coffee shops. From walking up to a porch with comfortable seating and a fireplace, to entering into a truly well put together Starbucks you want to stay in all day and learn allllll the things. Nicole was my barista and was so warm and welcoming; from her good morning to sharing of information to recommendations. The decor is excellent, the vibe (at least during my visit) was very peaceful and "grown up". I'll be back and can't wait to try all these fancy schmancy coffee offerings and learn more. read more

Know anything about Teslas? If your neighborhood Starbucks is the Model S 60 that does the job, this new Starbucks Reserve Bar is the P100D that makes you go "Whoa." What you're getting here is an Austin coffeehouse doing 0-60 in about 2.5 seconds. That's pretty cool. Don't think of this as hipster swank - although I guess it technically is - think of it as "Coffee flights & mocktails? Nice." You have the same walk-up counter like any other Starbucks, or you can go sit directly at the bar like any other bar and order small batch, syphons, & Chemex with your baristenders. (Okay, I made that word up). Shout outs to Mel & Nicole, who made my pour-over & Melrose sample. This really is a cool staff here. At noon on opening day, the tables & outside area were already slammed by the laptop people, but the bar & huge inside settee area were all coffee & mocktail drinkers. And don't worry about the original Starbucks Domain by NoRth & Apple Store, it's going to be revamped & renovated to better accommodate their heavy walk-up traffic. Very smart & efficient. First- the environment is def more upscale compared to reg Starbucks. I wanted to experience this unicorn while I was in Austin. So glad I did! I got the Iced Hazelnut Bianco. Amazing to say the least! Plus they put the coffee in a heavy duty reusable cup that I will flaunt my ice coffees in now! The souvenir items like bags and lapel pins were way toooooo overpriced. 30 for a set of 4 lapel pins is a bit much in my personal opinion. The very first Starbucks Reserve in Austin opened today! If you aren't familiar with the brand--think what Banana Republic is to Gap or what Whole Foods Market is to 365 by WFM (or whatever they call it). I was pleasantly surprised with the reasonable prices--the nitro cold brew hovered around 5 dollars for a grande. I did spot something that was near 10 dollars but I think that had ice cream in it? Service was a little bit slow but it was opening day. I definitely can see myself frequenting this place a lot--there is plenty of seating indoors and out on their (covered!) patio. Just freshly opened and I have been to other Starbucks Reserve coffee shops and was impressed by them. This new location is a bit smaller but has most of the same items. Only the usual stuff served here and no wine. As usual it's packed with people in line and just hanging out. There is a lot of inside and outside seating but good luck finding a spot. It also does not have a tasting room which I was hoping for. The Starbucks near my home sells sells Reserve coffee in bags so did not purchase any coffee beans to take home with me. I would say I love this place but there's definitely not enough outlets.. it gets pretty busy and loud on the weekends and on weeknights people are there to study or work on stuff. Domain is the right spot for a place like this. It's where you can think of an Ali Wong skit and realize "wow I made it, i'm drinking delicious pricey coffee without people thinking i'm a hipster or lumbersexual" Once you walk inside you think to yourself "it's worth lowering my credit score for a cup of coffee". Absolutely love the concept behind Starbucks reserves. I am all about the experiences you have at restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc. I like to take my time when I go out and I appreciate when I can see that the establishment encourages customers to just have a moment. The interior is warmly decorated, chill, and inviting. You can order at the register or sit at the bar. They also have drinks unique to the reserves. When you do order a reserve drink, it comes in a special cup (that you keep) which is so awesome to me. You can sit both outside and inside. I sat outside for a few hours to do some work and it was such a nice environment to be in. Parking can be difficult immediately in front of here, but there is a parking garage within walking distance that you can park at. I had High hope for the Starbucks reserve after I tried almost everything from the Seattle location one. While you do see your friendly staff here, it's hard to maintain the cleanness in this location because how busy it is. Like the first Starbucks reserve, this location also offer small lot coffee beans and decent pour over, I was going to leave a 3 stars review but not after I tried the today. It's your regular Starbucks latte, which is always sad in my opinion. I believe most of the people still going to give it a 3 stars or more, but there are a lot of fine coffee shop in this city, and as much as I hope this could be one of them, it is unfortunately not. read more

I don't give too many low-star reviews, but my experience here was really not good. Finally decided to check this place out, and it was packed beyond belief. I ordered an iced green tea latte, hoping people would leave by the time I got my drink. I wait. And wait and wait. No one leaves. A barista calls my name and says they've run out of matcha. I look at the cup and it's for a hot drink. So they got my order wrong and they ran out of matcha....a refund was given (yay), but then they took 20 mins to take my friend's order bc a barista didn't know how to ring up a gift card. I don't expect much from Starbucks; just make my typically uncomplicated drink and let me be lol. I ended up going to Nordstrom's ebar. I've been told coming here during mornings is a much better experience, but I probably won't be going again. read more

My wife and I were excited to try the "experience" with a coffee flight. The coffee was AMAZING. However our server/barista- Sarah (lady with the short bright red hair) was miserable. Never said a word to us. And after 15 minutes gave us the wrong order. On top of it, we only got 2 of the 3 coffee cards. So another barista came over and gave us a fresh set. My first Reserved experience and it was awesome. Wish I had known, but I went to cashier and ordered like I normally do. You can go to the Reserve bar and order from a different menu. On our second trip, we order cold brew flight and siphoning flight. Baristas are so informative and it took our normal coffee experience to a new level. read more

This place is pretty cool. I've never been to a Starbucks like this. I really love the menu, very extensive in items that they don't sell at regular stores. The staff could've been a little more alert. I had to wait a while before someone noticed me but it wasn't a big deal. Location? Great. Parking? Not the best, but that comes with The Domain. Coffee & Service? Well, that's where this Starbucks location falls apart. I met a few colleagues for a meeting at 8:30am on a Monday at this Starbucks, and it was not packed by any means, but definitely busy. I'm not sure if they were understaffed or what the issue was, but it took us over 20 minutes after ordering our coffee for it to be ready. Not only that, but my order was incorrect - I ordered a Blonde vanilla latte, nonfat milk, 2 pumps of syrup. I received a regular skinny vanilla latte - I purposely don't order skinny vanilla because the syrup is abysmal. That said, I drank half and tossed the rest, because I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for my drink to be remade, and hold up my meeting any further. Not worth the money, hype, or pain in the butt parking. I prefer local shops anyway, but my hopes were higher for this Reserve location. Will not be returning on my own volition. read more

First Starbucks reserve bar in Austin. I have been waiting with anticipation for them to open. You can get the basic Starbucks drinks and food items in the back center bar, or for the coffee nerd they have all the reserve coffee options served at the far right bar. You can get your coffee via chemix, syphon, pour over, nitro, cold brew, or real espresso. They even have floats, malts, and affogato. Thanks to Mora ice cream. A Seattle based creamery. The malts amazing in smaller doses. But for those lacking a sweet tooth you can get a hint of creamy goodness in the float or affogato. Lots to love here. They even have an Austin inspired cozy outdoor patio with fire insert. Friendly intelligent service. All the staff here come from previous Starbucks stores so no barissta newbies here. read more
