First time back since the remodel. It looks really nice inside but it got a lot smaller. There isn't any seating inside except for one little area. They also went from two bathrooms to one. They did add more seating outside. The employees are still really nice and helpful. read more

Single handedly the best Starbucks I've ever been to, even compared to the Disney World Starbucks that gave me a free drink XD. I've been in and out a number of times for breakfast and lunch over the last month and every-time I go inside I'm met with some of the sweetest and hardest working baristas I've ever met. read more

This is my favorite store... WAS... not anymore. They Sold me an opened and previously sold protein box. When I called to speak with the manager/supervisor, he sat there and completely BS'd me into believing this is normal as they "open them every morning to check the temperature of the food inside." I ended up getting so sick and in ER because of this negligence. I contacted corporate to ask if this procedure is true and they said ABSOLUTELY NOT. These products are shipped to the stores completely sealed for safety reasons and should by no means be sold opened. Needless to say, I reported this store to corporate as I'm sure they'll be happy to cover my ER costs. Might sue the manager individually... we will see what my lawyer says. Be careful when buying food here, they're kinda shady. read more

This starbucks has good parking. Easy parking and a drive thru too. . The inside has space for people to sit and study. The inside has about 4 tables. It wasn't busy on a weekend Sunday. . The outside has a couple tables to sit too. The tables are usually 2 people to 4 people seating. . Overall this starbucks is great if your in the area for a quick stop. Came here with my daughter as we were going to a soccer game near by on 3/8/2025. This was the first time at this location. We got here around 12pm ish. As I was walking to the front entrance I noticed the drive thru and there was maybe about 2 cars in the drive thru. Walking inside it was small but clean and around 5 employees. There was no greeting when walking in which usually all Starbucks they welcome you in no matter how busy but I didn't mind. There were a few people (about 2-3) in line so I decided to do an online order at 12:11pm. No on came in the store after me. I ordered an iced matcha latte, a green tea lemonade no ice, 2 iced waters, 1 bagel, and a snack box. Within 5 mins or less I got the food which by that time the 2-3 individuals got their items and left. My drinks took so long. Even though my order stated it would be ready by 12:23pm it wasn't ready until at least 12:35ish. I found it pretty odd that it took so long when there was a lot of employees on the line. They were making at least 2 other orders because on the screen it was one person before me probably from drive thru, myself, and a new order that showed on the screen. However, in the store there was no one else waiting except for me. One of the employees was filling up ice, there was one at the drive thru window which seemed like that was a priority, another had just came back from break/lunch, one was making drinks and i believe another was helping out where they could. As I was standing next to where the food and drinks were placed, none of them asked me if I was waiting on items or if I needed anything else. I didn't want to be rude and ask for a time frame on my drinks so I waited. Also, they almost handed my drinks to the person in drive thru then came back and asked if they were mine. After all that waiting I was hoping the drink would be good but the matcha was so bland which I had not experienced before. In my opinion the customer service was just below bar to me. I don't review often but when the experience it not good then I have to express my experience. Unfortunately, I won't be coming to this location again but I hope they can turn it around with the customer service. read more

There's something about Starbucks locations at this point where they seem to be dime 'o dozen. Like, if you've visited one, you've seen them all right. This location sits conveniently between our home and my wife' work location. It's great for that morning pick me up of food or coffee. One of the reasons that I chose this location to actually take the time to review is because of their service. They literally are getting 5 stars from me because I cannot recollect a time where my orders have EVER been incorrect. Now........ if this were the Mack Road location (OMG!) but no, this is Power Inn. Literally, no matter how long the lines at drive thru are, they listen, they're patient, they don't heat anything you don't request, they make the drinks correct, it's just amazing. The staff and management must be a cut above. It shows. And again, I could -drive down the road- matter of speaking and find another location, but sometimes we will drive an extra 5, 10 minutes out of the way for this quality Cup o' Energy. Very busy Starbucks, cleanliness needs work both in the dining area and especially in the bathrooms. The front patio with outdoor seating is nice, but there's quite a lot of non-patrons that come through also. Overall, it's a nice SB for working even though the music is turned up really loud. The AC is turned up high so on a hot summer day this is a refreshing place for a cool drink and a place to rest for awhile. Food though is just the packaged stuff reheated if needed. Very few parking spots for how many people here, so it is hard to find a spot, but at least most customers are drive-thru only. read more

I recently DoorDashed from this location, one of the drinks was an iced caramel macchiato with drizzle added on to the side of the cup. When the order got to my place (mind you I live just a mile away), I noticed there was no extra drizzle, which sucks because I paid for it (but oh well I can get a refund from DD, not a big deal)... I understand stuff happens, things get missed. I used to be a barista for 4 years, I get it. HOWEVER, when my wife put her straw into her drink she had a chunk of a coffee bean shoot to the back of her mouth almost causing her to choke. Upon further inspection, we found multiple WHOLE coffee beans plus chunks of others. This is what I find to be unacceptable.. First of all it's a choking hazard, but secondly how can you be so negligent? There is NO reason a drink should be left alone so long that there is beans accidentally dropped in it. OR worse case scenario, someone dropped them in and didn't care to remake the drink?! I'm so disappointed in this location. I have tried to contact them multiple times but cannot reach them. I'm having my car repaired over at house of automatic transmissions, another fantastic business here in Sacramento. The Starbucks is a good size, super clean very friendly staff. Some locations are pulling out or making the AC outlet unavailable, but I can use it here and I'm actually getting quite a bit of work done. Highly recommended. read more

This Starbucks location is another good example of how a corporate chain coffee house can make you feel like a human - not just a number. As everyone says, "a Starbucks is a Starbucks", but some of the better managed locations Rise Above the Rest. This location, located on the corner of the very busy Power Inn Road and Ramona, is in an industrial area. It is a larger Starbucks store, with full seating area plus drive-through. Surprisingly, the drive-through has always been fairly easy and friendly. At times it is backed up with cars all the way out the parking lot, but when not so busy it is convenient. Mobile ordering is mostly decent...but like all 'bucks they have misfired and made drinks incorrectly, or simply never filled the order and forgot. However, they are nice when you ask them to remake something. What makes this a "better" caliber of Starbucks is the customer service, as the crew seems to have a great attitude everytime I come through. So, kudos to the staff and management for making my Starbucks "experience" a happy one. read more

I am a staunch supporter of Starbucks... or at least I used to be. The prices are astronomical at this point. It has gotten to the point where I've paid over $5 for a plain latte. I've now resorted to making my lattes at home because it's too expensive to get one at the shop. I remember paying at least $3 for a latte. And even then I thought that was expensive! Anyways... the drinks have severely gone down in value. There are times where I've had a drink that was over $5... and I didn't even feel like it should've been that price. For example, I had a simple chai latte. However, the one this location provided was not it. At all. I've had better, but I should've known what type of quality I was looking for when I am buying from a (essentially) fast food place. The chai was watery, definitely didn't have spice AT ALL, and I didn't even want to drink it in the first place. But I knew I had to because I spent $6 on it. For those who love Starbucks as much as I do, I implore you to explore other coffee shops that deserve your attention and patronage, like Donuts and Coffey! They have really good drinks. If I can give zero stars I would! I am staying at a Marriott who serves Starbucks. I ordered a chai tea latte with a shot of espresso it was disgusting. So, I went to this Starbucks location and the older man who wears glasses immediately said sorry Marriott starbucks is not the same and we will not remake it. I said, I really do not want to spend $15 to get a coffee with the money I already spent. He said, I understand but we can only order a new one. This is the worse experience especially when I spend so much money at Starbucks!!!!! I ended up with no coffee this morning. SITREP One of my favorite locations to head right after work. It is just off the light-rail line. STAFF I enjoy the employees here, especially the very friendly baristas! OVERFLOW Sometimes the Starbucks at 16th Street or Alhambra and just full of people using all the outlets and table space, and sometimes I really need to work on the WiFi for a couple of hours. Alright this Starbucks was my go to cause they never mess up on my order til just recently. Maybe cause it's the new staff or something but this is the 2-3 time they messed my my drink! As a person that takes my coffee seriously this really pisses me off. The last few times I specifically ask for no water on my cold brew cause I like my coffee semi strong. I did a drive-up order. I ordered 2 drinks plus birthday cake pop. My daughter got a venti pumpkin frap and got it correct. My drink order was a iced chai latte with light ice, powder cinnamon, 2 pumps of vanilla syrup and pumpkin cold foam. Instead they gave me a grande pumpkin latte with 2 pumps vanilla and pumpkin cold foam. It was good, but I wanted what I ordered. This morning walked the dogs at Big Horn Blvd greenbelt (Dead End Road) with Deanna. We dropped off the dogs, because the day was getting hot and Deanna and I went to Donuts & Expresso at 7811 Laguna Blvd and Deanna ordered a chai tea latte. The latte was horrendous and tasted like perfume. The donuts were too sugary. Because of this, we had to go to Starbucks and get us some real drinks, that don't have an after taste and got some delicious pastries. When you think you can adventure out and try out a new place, many times it leads to disappointment. With Starbucks, it never leads to any disappointments, always satisfied. read more

The night crews should stop talking among each other and pay attention to the customer order. Just because we are the only car waiting at the drive thru doesn't mean to take their sweet time making the drinks. There were about more than 4 workers. A girl with a short blue hair, a girl with hair bun, a girl with a plaid flannel shirt and the girl who took my order. I had to speak very loudly so she can hear me. My husband had to repeat the order for her. Then the last drink I spoke louder (not that I'm mad) so she can hear me better. I asked for a grande toasted whites chocolate mocha frappucinno. We waited for our drinks more than 3 minutes. The only car and I see no customer inside besides the ones that were seated with their drink in hand already. We looked to see what was taking so long and they all were just standing there talking. It doesn't take that long to make two frapps. I surely won't return here again. Sadly, because this was one of my fav location. The girl who took our order had someone else handed our drink. The girl in the flannel shirt gave my husband the drink without even wiping the drips around the cup. She was very rude. Going into a Starbucks, you already know not to expect anything other than a corporate fast food experience with a hipster facade. The one thing you could always count on was a place to set up for an hour with hour laptop and a drinkable cup of coffee. This location can't even get that right. I needed to kill a couple hours while my wife was taking a Friday morning class down the street. So I headed to the nearest Starbucks with my laptop, so I could get a little work done while I waited. First off, the coffee was bad. Much worse than usual. I don't know if its the staff at this location, or their coffee has just recently gotten worse, but it was hardly drinkable. To make matters worse, there was no place to set up for a bit of work. Not that the place was packed. It was empty and there were plenty of tables. It's just that when you walk in, it appears there are plenty of outlets scattered around the seating area. But if you get in line, buy your coffee and go to sit down, you quickly find out that there aren't any real outlets, just plastic covers with no plugs. There are literally zero public outlets in this location, so I hope you have a good battery. Better yet, go somewhere else! read more

Everytime I come here it feels like a second home. The baristas here are wonderfully superb. If you take the time to know them you will learn how inviting and friendly each Barista can be.they aleays take the time to make sure each interaction is awesome. I personally love that Becky is always enthusastic about doing a pour over, even though I know it's a pain in the butt sometimes. One Barista, I forget hims name i believe its Tim is always putting latte art in my Lattes his Rosetta's are a little of but amazing nonetheless. The amazing Dynamic between Kayla, Dianna, Summer, Sandy, Kenzie and Lexi at night is amazing they always manage to make me smile with little things. I love the various personalities this store has all meshing together as one team. I espesiaccly love how Chealsea is always patient with extremly complicated order she is such a sweetheart. They did used to have a dynamic duo of two girls Juana and I forget the other ones name but I wish they could come back my Lattes were consitantly fire because of them. Where the light rail and suburbia meet your caffeinated needs! I don't know if its the Light Rail creatures I see or that I always see someone I know at this one, not the same groups of course (for the most part), that makes this a fun Starbucks to visit. Being squarely located in my old stomping grounds, I've done everything you could do at this Starbucks - visit with friends/family, study, read, sit out side, run inside to use the restroom and feel guilty so I buy a coffee, meet for a coffee date, grab a quick drink, or use their drive thru. All of my times have been enjoyable, the staff continues to be enthusiastic and very on point. This place is mini-suburbia people watching heaven. Maybe I shouldn't give the light rail all the credit, the 99 cent store also brings some interesting characters to the CG area - but everyone needs coffee too. So if you sit inside or outside, you are in for an eye treat. Caffeine and people watching, a match made in heaven! read more
