I most likely wouldn't visit this Starbucks again as a result of the lack of customer service and poor barista skills. I visited this location on 9/9 at 10:05pm on my way to their airport. There was an Asian guy working the cashier and an Asian woman working as the barista. It was myself and few people behind me when the cashier rolled his eyes and aggressively yelled for everyone to get on the other side of the table to be serviced. It was extremely dramatic and sounded so personal. I ordered a vanilla bean Frappuccino that tasted like ice and milk. It really was the worst Frappuccino I've ever received. The ambiance of the place was dirty. When I arrived there was no one in line and the employees were just chatting. Less than five minutes of effort to tidy up the restaurant would've been sufficient. I haven't had Starbucks in a while so this really was a big disappointment as I usually have decent expectations for this establishment. read more

It's worth noting that I am a frequent traveler and am a Starbucks regular at dozens of stores all over the country. I am also a shareholder. I've visited this store on roughly a half-dozen occasions at different times of day over a two year span and while my experiences were never great -- certainly not worthy of the four star rating I generously gave this location about a year ago -- I excused the broken equipment, poor appearance and surley customer service on the fact that the store was open 24/7. While poorly run, the store was marginally better than the late-night alternatives near SFO. As a customer willing (until now) to lower my expectations of this location because it is one of a handful of 24/7 stores owned and operated by a company I admire, I have to accept some responsibility because I never held them to the higher standards every other Starbucks is expected to maintain. That said, Starbucks operates two 24/7 stores in the Seattle area without compromising their standards or employee expectations. My most recent (and absolutely LAST) experience at this store occurred earlier this week (early December 2018) and was so horrific I feel compelled to rescind my previous review. I will address my specific complaints, observations and safety concerns directly with corporate before posting anything here, but I will no longer tolerate the poor appearance (dirty floors, counters and tables, filthy bathroom, questionable food preparation areas) of this store or the unapologetically slow service from surley Baristas. ------ Previous (overly-generous) Four-Star Review One of the downsides to any 24 hour operation is that there's no downtime for basic maintenance and repairs. I frequent Seattle and I'm not sure I've ever been in a Starbucks that is open 24/7. That said, they were pretty busy at 9pm, but only had one register open and the credit card reader wasn't working properly, so it held up the line (I was the next customer) for quite a while. I don't normally go to Starbucks anymore since I started to go to Peet's. We were waiting for my son's turn for a haircut and the bathroom at Supercuts was out of order so we decided to walk here to get a cold drink on a hot day and to have my son use the restroom. I walked it and it was pretty crowded. Sat down at a table in front of the counter so I could figure out what I wanted. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. I was debating on just making a mobile order instead of falling in line since the line was starting to get long. I seen on their mobile app they have a pina colada tea. I get in line and walk up to the counter to order so I could ask the barista her opinion regarding the drink. As me and two other customers are standing there the money drop guy comes and we all just stand there for a few minutes until the lead or manager gets her stuff together for the money collection. No big deal since you gotta do what you gotta do. I wish someone had acknowledged the patrons in line and said they would be a moment. Instead there was a bunch of employees who went to the back and a couple just standing there waiting for the money collection. I asked her about the pina colada and she was pretty honest and told me that she hadn't tried it but do see a lot of mobile orders for it. I decide to order that over the ice chai or strawberry frap or cold brew. I head to the restroom while I wait for my drink to be prepared. Bathroom was a tad dirty but thankfully didn't smell like some of the downtown bart stations. Came out after using it and drink was still not ready. I didn't realize so many people were ahead of me. Finally get my drink and am pretty disappointed. It tastes watered down and lacks flavor. I didn't want to ask for them to do a redo or to have them replace it since they seemed busy and I didn't want to wait longer for them to prepare a new drink. Overall I wish they would encourage all of their employees to try all of the drinks on the menu and on the mobile order menu. Would be nice. I guess I'll stick to my Peet's black tie cold brew. read more

This location is always open (yea, 24 hours!) so it is very popular with the young crowd (the partiers, the clubbers, the students, etc.) and those who are night owls (limo and taxi drivers, insomniacs, etc.). The outdoor seating are usually filled, even late evenings and into the night - when it's chilly. The dark cherry mocha was really good but the drawback was the amount. Removed the whip cream and it was two-thirds full. The staff is friendly even though they have to work late hours. However, they are more informal and chat and yell to one another as if customers are not around. read more

@Starbucks Why is it that the Internet connection at the 1212 El Camino Real, STE G, San Bruno, Ca location is so much worse than the 80 Cabrillo Highway N, V, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019? WiFi here is SO HORRIBLE, I take my Starbucks Gold Card exercise one of four options. Option 1: Buy as little as possible because I am leaving as quickly as possible. Option 2: Go to another location for coffee. Option 3: Go to another non-Starbucks location in same area. Option 4: Use my mobile as a hotspot when I am at this crappy location. The best solution would be for Starbucks to bring the WiFi deployed at the 1212 El Camino Real location into the modern era. Please Starbucks, do so ASAP. Thanks. I was surprised to see a Starbucks that was this badly maintained. I see from these other reviews that the place is 24 hours, which explains a lot. Pros: Huge store, plenty of seating Tons of parking at this plaza. Apparently 24 hours Service was fairly fast Cons: Pretty gross! Drink spills on the tables, floors are dirty (when you have a toddler dropping things that they'll put back in their mouths, you notice), and chairs are kind of all over the place. Overall, just not that clean for an otherwise decent and friendly Starbucks. read more

Definitely one of the better Starbucks I've been to. Most others have been a hit or miss with the drinks I order, but this location has always made my drinks perfectly. I usually order a brewed iced tea like an English breakfast or London fog, with a few pumps of syrup added - where other locations would inevitably under brew or just not brew the tea at all, this location has done so perfectly. They're also one of the only Starbucks to be open 24 hours (only until midnight during covid hours) with plenty of parking all around. read more

Shows little to no compassion for human life. It wasn't even busy in here for them to be kicking him out. The weekend crew seems to always be the worst. They even frequently mess up my drink orders. I DO NOT go out of my way to leave bad reviews. I know everyone is human and has their moments. BUT, today I placed a 2 drink order at 12pm. App said it would be ready at 12:08. I walked in at that time. Order wasn't, ready, no big deal. It wasn't busy, but still no hig deal. I ordered one of the drinks for someone else, so I clarified that drink with the batista. She informed me that was a mobile order (not hers), but verified my order. Still no one was making my drinks. So at 12:15, I grabbed a barista who stocking behind the counter. She then "started to make my drinks" (she absolutely did not make them). Instead, the original batista made comments about how "she was only on person," and she would do the drinks. Same one who verified my order when I got there..... I waited until 12:20, then left. The person I ordered the drink for went and picked it up 5 minutes later... 12:25. As Starbucks go this place is pretty standard except that it's open 24hrs. To most people that may not matter but for someone like me who works night shift this place is awesome to get your caffeine fix. Lots of space to sit indoors and out, the service is on par for your average Starbucks. Wifi isn't the fastest but it's free. Parking is ample in the shopping center. When everything in this area closes at 10pm, this place is a wonderful caffeine hub thats open 24-7. read more

This Starbucks does not have great customer service. The employees are not very friendly, and they always seem pretty disorganized. I ordered two drinks on the mobile app today, and waited for a bit in my car to give them time to make them. When I came in, one of my drinks was ready and sitting out on their mobile order pick up table, the other was not. The girl told me to stand in the pick up area which was already crowded, at one of the spots that they have on the ground for social distancing. There weren't any available so I was pretty close to the people who were ordering at the counter. I waited and waited for my second drink while I watched all these other drink orders come up!?! I finally spoke up when I saw the order come up for the people who ordered at the counter when I first came in. The girl snapped at me that my drink would be right up. In the meantime my other beverage sat out on that table for a considerable amount of time. This place is so filty, no napkins etc..on the service area,garbage is so full you can't put your cup down, I asked for some napkin so I can clean my own table and they said no napkin and laugh. I had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE here yesterday 12/1/19. I love my Starbucks' drinks! ! Nothing like them for me. Starbucks IS VERY expensive, but soooo worth it to me. However..., when I walked in to this one yesterday, I was "greeted" (NOT!!!) by a young girl with a horrible scowl on her face. After a rude "what can I get you?" I asked for what I always ask for (multiple times at this location,) a VENTI SALTED CARAMEL WHITE MOCHA. Desi (got her name later) very rudely replied we don't have that! Only mochas like that... At that point, I chose to walk out telling her that I would go somewhere else to get it, which I did.
