You know what? I really don't like Starbucks. But, I'm going to step off the soap box on that topic to discuss what I *do* like about THIS Starbucks. This is my local Starbucks, so if I'm fiending for a tasty beverage (passion tea lemonade), I will go here. If I get up too late and am too lazy to go elsewhere, I will stop by here and get a breve misto (half and half + coffee). The blonde brew is not completely unbearable. The staff here is super nice. Like weirdly so. I am always astounded at how happy and friendly they seem to be, even when busy and stressed. So either they are all on drugs, or this Starbucks isn't such a terrible place to work. I like that this location has a patio. There are a lot of older Croatians that hang out here (hello, it's San Pedro), which is amusing. Just on a social experiment level, this location is pretty entertaining. read more

This is the nearest starbucks location near me. Today I almost lost my purse there because the people didn't even look carefully around. I called beforehand to make sure they keep it, and they said they did not see a thing. But when I returned to the store, it was sitting right where I left it. I just wanted to kick all employees' butt but I held myself tight. I do thank all the customers there for not paying attention to my purse. read more

There are two locations nearby but my wife and I come here often not just because it's closer, but because majority of the baristas already know us and our usual drink orders. Also the regulars who make up the staple every morning make you feel like this is a community establishment and not just another retail store. Since smoking has been prohibited within the outside patio area, there are still some who dare to test the effectiveness of the ban. Kudos to the baristas whose names we know - June, Albert, Sarah, Maria, and Andrea for perfectly making our drinks every time. read more

i would give my experience today 0 stars if i could. To start, the girl that took my order was very sweet, on the other hand the barista that made my drink did not put berrys in my VERY BERRY?? then told me i would have to pay extra for them... then i try my drink and its not even the very berry! so i ask to speak to the manager and the rude barista says "hi im right here" so then i ask her to remake my drink, she does & puts the wrong berries & slams my drink on the counter and tells me to "have a nice freaking day" also her name is Eden :))) & i HIGHLY doubt she's actually even the manager. read more

Horrible. Waited 15 min for a plain coffee and then they forgot about the egg white bites on top of that. After 20 min, i asked the girl making drinks if the eggs were coming. she said very rudely "it's coming". So I waited another 10 min. Finally just asked for a refund as it was clear after the 7 people after me in line got their food and drinks, i wasn't getting mine. Had to wait in a long line for the refund. they said - oh sorry we forgot, gave me a refund and that was it. No "oh sorry we took up 30 min of you day - here's a muffin, or a drink for next time." I enjoy coming here before getting to work for a quick cup, or a bite to eat. The team members are cheerful, competent, free of attitude, and there is an overall good vibe throughout the store. In my Top 3 favorite Starbucks at the moment. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the junior high school kids that swarm in here @ 3pm on weekdays. There's a middle (?) school somewhere nearby, and when they let out, this place becomes a spot for parents picking up their kids. This is my neighborhood Starbucks and by far the worst I have ever been to. The drinks are watered down, incorrect or you have to wait far too long for your mobile app orders. You cant speak yoyr concerns to anyone because they either give you bad attitude, give you excuses or the phone is always busy. Im done with this place. Id rather drive 5 miles and get my drinks at another location. read more

This was my favourite place to go until I encountered a very rude very young fresh girl behind the counter who refused to serve myself and a man next to me and served a woman who walked in last when I told her we were waiting first she asked me to leave. I approached another worker who I new and she said she couldn't help me. I phoned Corp but never returned my call, so I called the store itself and no one returned my call. Usually come in during the evening, the place is always so lively. The crew is so inviting and attentive to everyone who crosses the doors. Eventhough the store is so busy they manage to not only knock out every drink, but connect with everyone, even if its a simple "how's your day?" Highly recommend this location. read more

This is a good location with more room than most of them. It's also not really on a busy main road so it feels a little more quiet inside and out. It's off to the side of a small shopping strip mall area and tends to feel tucked away somehow. Nice shade and darker, it feels good during the Summer months. read more

Been working on a startup with my friend here at this location for awhile. It wasn't until recently where we've started coming at a particular time and hearing MASON's positive comments and greetings throughout the store. I have to say, she makes this nice starbucks even better. And MASON, in this time when there are so many things to frown about, I really appreciate the aura of positivity you bring. Just hearing it in the background fuels me with motivation. For other people working on startups, if you are tired of lifeless cafe stores, I'd recommend checking out this branch. Dear Barista with the bleached hair & red lipstick at 9:15am 11/16/2012, Could you adjust your tone and for lack of a better word, shitty customer service...? My Father merely asked if his coffee was coming up in your queue. What ever your excuse is for your attitude, it was not warranted. If you value your $6 coffee and the skip in your step, don't come to this Starbucks. With the remodel & reopening there is a revamped seating area, but they keep the temperature set to artic winter. Coffee should never cost this much. If it does it better be spectacular. Starbucks is not spectacular. In fact, it's very very average. The location of this one is sorta nice. They have a nice sitting area, but the lines are usually kinda long. I, for one, am always seated next to some loud smoking Croatian gentlemen outside and it ain't to pleasant. This is a nice Starbucks. There's a good amount of seating and the stag ours pretty nice and they're usually pretty fast too. Not to set there isn't a line . At bust times there's usually a really long line, but what do you expect, it's Starbucks afterall. This is my favorite Starbucks to get work done at. There is a long table that can comfortably sit 6 people. Perfect for someone who needs a lot of space for their books, laptops, iPads, etc. If this table is taken, there are plenty of small tables at this location. The workers here are friendly and pretty fast at getting drinks out. There can be long lines on the weekend, so I would suggest ordering through the app so that you do not have to wait in line. A word to the wise: If you want to get work done at around 3:30 during the months between August-June, COME EARLIER! This place gets flooded with hordes of kids from a school nearby. Not only do they take up tables and hang out in walk ways, it is so loud because of the millions of frappuccinos that they order. read more

I stopped by here and was immediately greeted with a "Hello welcome to Starbucks". The girl at the counter was very helpful, I hadn't tried nitro cold brew and she offered it to me because I wanted something that would keep me up all night. And I was up ALL night. I loved it. The girls name was Eden and she was soo nice asking about my plans and how my day was. I'm surprised she I toeduced herself because I don't come to Starbucks that often so I'm not used to that kind of great customer service. I had mobile ordered my order thinking it would be done right and ready. I knew this location would be busy in the mornings. I still decided to put in my order, but once I came in it wasn't ready and made wrong and I was upset because I had to be somewhere. I asked to speak to the one in charge and it was nice young man named Andres, who was very helpful. He managed to talk to his team and get my drink started and corrected. This is the WORST Starbucks. They mess up my order every time, even mobile orders. It's right by my house so hard to avoid, but just careless mistakes! This morning I ordered a double chocolate chip frap with peppermint, sugar free, and a ham and cheese croissant, no egg. I sent my husband in to get it and he comes back with some kind of white frap that tasted like nothing, because they said they were out of both syrups so they just made me that instead? And the croissant had egg on it (despite the sticker on it saying no egg). I get that my order isn't exactly uncomplicated, but how much farther off can you get? $14 down the drain this morning....and that's after I used my free reward on it.
