The baristas are always very nice and get my order right which I love! They keep the location very clean and organized. The ham and swiss croissant is my favorite that I get every visit. The staff has always been nice. The drinks are made correctly at least 75% of the time. The drive through has always been crazy busy which is no reflection on the Starbucks itself. It's to be expected often but this location especially is normally quite busy. We order mobile order ahead and have started going in to pick up our order. I've never been an A1 fan of this location but it is conveniently located right off of highway 55 and at the tip of Carondelet park, so whether I'm on foot (jogging) or in transit via car; this subpar Starbucks is the closest within a 10 mile radius. But I do not like the service; most (not all) of the barista's have zero personality, no people skills and lack tact. The straw today was when I asked for a Willow on Clover and the drive-thru guy replied, "what?" to my order. I repeated myself sloooooowwwwwwly and he said, "oh no we don't have a Clover machine here. I damn near pulled off but I didn't want to be rude; besides I'd already been in the waiting line for a few minutes and really wanted a cool drink. I settled for an iced black coffee and vowed to never come back; no matter how convieniently located it is. read more

My daughter loves the spinach feta wrap and I like all of the varieties of the sous vide egg bites especially the bacon one. Generally we order a custom fru fru drink and a very classic coffee with 2 breakfast foods and almost all of the time they get it correct. So let's say that we go to Starbucks four times a week. That is approximately $85 a week. I am not sure why a super simple iced coffee with heavy whipping cream only was incorrect. It had sugar in it. I know the difference when something has sugar in it. My cheeks get hot and I feel funny. It was so sugary I think I lost a toe over the excessive amount if sugar that pulsed through my body. OK I understand that Starbucks is like anyplace else understaffed and overly busy. We almost always preorder and we always have to wait at least 20 minutes, which is fine. Today we ordered With a person standing outside taking orders in the drive-through. If i am able to correctly navigate the Starbucks app and get my order correct, I would expect that they would be able to do the same as a Starbucks employee taking my order in person. What is concerning is that when I called to let them know Of their mistake and that I would be back after dropping kids to school, in about 20 minutes, that I really didn't have time to wait. The person was RUDE and told me they couldn't Guarantee how long it would take and then I may have to wait. I asked i could give them the order number and have them make it and I would be in shortly, 20 minutes. Again I was told she couldn't guarantee the wait time. I asked if she could just make it and I would be in and it didn't need to be hot or cold it just needed to be corrected without sugar. Somehow the phone call was disconnected. It was rude and I haven't ever had this happen at a Starbucks where they custom make your order. Just grumpy that I still don't have my coffee and I have to check my blood sugar and likely correct it with insulin as I don't consume sugar/sugar substitutes. Thanks Starbucks. Really it's a blessing because I am going to save my 85 dollars and make my own coffee. I hope this teaches my daughter that if you pay for a service or product the expectation is that it's correct and if it's not, then advocate as a consumer, to have it corrected without rudeness. read more

I had never really gave into the hype of Starbucks (SB). It was just one of those places that everyone seemed to enjoy. Coffee, smoffee...what's the fuss, right?! ...wrong? I think I may have become a new convert. One early morning, I needed to feed the post-workout beast within. Ya girl was HUNGRY. Without trying, I had time to spare before work and wanted to try something different. SB seeped into my thoughts, and I hopped on over to Loughborough Commons. Per one of my favorite YouTuber's vlogs, she constantly raved about the bacon gouda sandwich. So I went with that, along with the strawberry acai refresher with coconut milk. This particular store is small and sits at the corner to the entrance. The drive-thru was giving the ladies morning rush hell, but they still managed to greet me (somewhat dully) when I walked in. The store was clean and airy on the inside. After a few secs of menu gazing to make sure my choices were the one, I gave the cashier my order. Quick, simple. The wait wasn't too long; the workers were going as fast (and accurate) as possible. The cashier didn't ask for my name and I'm not apart of their rewards program, so they had to yell out my order to me. Ain't no thing, as long as it was accurate, lol. The strawberry refresher was amazing. Mixed very well and so fresh. I'll definitely be ordering that again. The sandwich? Just ok. The Applewood bacon was very crispy. The egg was cooked to my liking, but I just wasn't wow'd. Beautiful looking sandwich, tho. Honestly, the sausage/egg/cheese sandwich from Bread Co. is way better, IMO. In addition, my total was pricey. SB is pricey in general, but nothing over the top. Being a new convert, I'm willing to try all of what's offered at Starbucks. Hopefully another trip and experience brings about more stars. read more

This is the Starbucks location that made me want to be a Starbucks barista. Then I became one, and I had to laugh at my own stupidity. It turns out I didn't want to be one at all, I just loved coffee and pastries. But, that's another story. I love this location because my drinks have always been accurate and the store itself is close to my house. That being said, it's annoyingly challenging to ever get OUT of their parking lot because of traffic on Loughborough. They do not have the fastest drive-thru, but they do have friendly partners and try to move quick. Tip: the drive-thru moves faster than if you'd go inside to order your beverage. read more

This location has a drive-thru. Usually seems faster to drive thru than going inside, especially during peak times. I have recently starting using the app to order from my phone when I am about 5 minutes away (the app will save your recent order to make it easy for you to order your usual drink in just 3 clicks). If you use the app to place your order in advance, just walk up to the "pick up" spot and mention you had an online order. Usually they have it sitting to the side ready to go (they don't want some random person walking off with your drink). This location is always quick. The only time I even end up waiting is when there is a person in front of me in line with no idea what to order. read more

This used to be my home Starbucks that I stopped at several mornings a week for my standard Starbucks drink (Iced green tea with no syrup!) up until I moved to West County not quite a year ago. I was in the hood the other afternoon and since I had tried the chile mocha (special fall drink) a few days ago it has been on my mind. I hit the drive thru here at around 5pm on a Thursday. There was only one car ahead of me. I ordered a tall chile mocha latte and was on my way in minutes. My beverage was hot and delicious. I'm not sure why this Starbucks has a lot of negativity directed at it in the reviews. They retain employees and have a core group of regulars who hang out there in the mornings. This Starbucks is very efficient -- almost mechanical. But truthfully, do I need a song and dance as you make my drink? No. It's a little brighter than other Starbucks. Or maybe I've always there when the sun shines in particular manner. But that some how adds to the clinicaliness of the place. If that's a real word. And if not, I don't care. The barista Carrie is just chatting up the other employees about Aldi and how it's a German based company and blah blah blah, taking her time, all while there are 10+ cars deep in drive up and customers inside. I am recently dairy free bc of an allergy so I ordered peppermint mocha with almond milk, no whip and no chocolate shavings. I see her put what looked like sprinkles in there so I asked her and reiterated that I'm dairy free and cannot have chocolate. She looked at me like I was the biggest idiot and said well mocha is chocolate. Obviously I did research before I went and the mocha sauce is vegan so I'm in the clear there. They are SO SLOW!! I don't know how they have been able to stay in business; probably because of convenience to the people in the area. It's almost worth it to drive to another location. Last night, a friend and I got together just to visit, sit around and talk, and really not to do very much. He said that we should go to this Starbucks. This is a typical Starbucks like almost all of the other Starbucks establishments in the metropolitan St. Louis area. Their coffee is not bad but it's not good either. They have their menu of drinks posted on the wall like the others. When we got there, it wasn't crowded, and the employees were helpful and friendly, and I always appreciate that. I just wished that the coffee at Starbucks was better in general, not just this Starbucks. It was quiet and not busy the entire time we were there, so I suppose that it's a good place to study or read your latest good book that you bought. read more

Was excited to use a gift card I had before so headed to class. Asked what was in the green tea latte, was told WATER & matcha powder. So I proceeded to order the drink and oatmeal. I got to my car and took a sip and felt a fuzziness in my mouth. It smelt odd. I went inside and asked if there was dairy...to my SURPRISE there was 2% milk in it! I am allergic to dairy and I just want to make sure there is an understanding of diet and food intolerances. It's very important to customers. I have worked at fast food and understand it can be frustrating but you will loose customers and word travels fast. I just want workers to respect the customers requests. read more
